The fifth-generation E60 BMW 5-Series was an exceptional car, both loved and hated by lots, depending on how they saw the model. But one thing was certain: besides the love-it-or-hated-it design, it was a German ride built to last.

Now, we have the pleasure of seeing it in an amazing video which highlights its exceptional mechanics and exquisite technical specifications. We are looking here at a fourth such video, after BMW also put together other three videos with the E12, E28, the E34 as well as the E39.

When it came out, the model was really revolutionary in terms of technology, coming with lots of high-tech gizmos and gadgetries way ahead its time. The interior came with head-up display technology, active cruise control and voice control, advanced steering, iDrive system as well as the latest high-end materials.

Besides that, when it was launched back in 2003, the advanced technology was mostly added to make the driver`s cruising more comfortable and pleasant, without spoiling the real driving adventure, and involving the other passengers into operating the car`s navigation systems.

Besides the new technology on board, the model was an instant hit due to the wide space inside, much wider than the previous generation, while in the engine department, it managed to surprise everyone with an extremely high-performance turbocharged petrol burner, way ahead its time.

Unfortunately for those who hate their jobs or life, the apocalypse didn’t happen. Bringing further annoyance, the New Year then came and everybody is cheery about it.

It’s a pretty extensive list. In keeping themselves on top of the luxury market crowds, they’ve come up with so much three videos were needed.

The first one, as you could already see, tends to the new vehicles that were introduced throughout the year that has just ended.

The second video published by the Bavarians also speaks of ideas they’ve presented. This time however it’s the concepts and the design ideas behind them.

We’ve had two momentous celebrations, one for the BMW Z1 and one for the creation of the M division. Neither can be over-appreciated.

On top of all this stuff, there’s a short description of all the sporting endeavors and collaborations our favorite brand has been involved in.

Like they say, 2012 was an amazing for BMW and, of course, for us, the fans of the brand, but since they promise 2013 is going to be better there’s just nothing to complain about.

Oh, and on top of that promise, it’s really nice to finally see how there’s finally a moment when we get to see the voice of BMW TV, Daryl Jackson.

I know a lot about the BMW 3 Series but do you think you know a lot about the BMW 3 Series?

We know you do, but BMW certainly want everybody else to know that their small sports sedan is not only the best option now, but it’s also been in that position for several years.

There’s no more than 3 minutes and 30 seconds that are meant to take you through the generations but, weirdly, it doesn’t feel like there’s not enough time.

Maybe the script called for the new youtube video to have the same figures in duration as one of the awesome 330i models the Bavarians create.

Going through the shortlist, the BMW 3 Series exists as an entity since 1975. The compact executive’s car has been in existence for quite some time.

Originally built as a two door sedan, the BMW 3 Series started to pick up the options on the number of doors, body shape and option of a roof.

Plenty of less obvious options have since come and gone and, of course, the presence of the M3 in this list is quite significant for history.

My favorite in the lineup is the E36 version, the one that comes with a squared stance and is a really sharp suit.

Unfortunately for me, getting hold of such a car in good condition these days is tricky and if you want one that hasn’t been molested, that’s even worse.

The rest of the lineup is standing tall and some of them are among the most desirable of classics.

BMW have one of the most popular brands ever and their logo is one of the most easily recognized but very few actually know details on its coming to life.

To that extent the purpose of this article is to show a short history lesson to those who don’t know what I’m talking about.

Most of those who actually know something about the history of the infamous logo aren’t completely right.

Popular belief is that the BMW logo derives from the company’s history with aircraft engines and that the idea came from a white propeller turning round a blue sky. BMW themselves agreed to this interpretation in 1929 but this isn’t the full story, as by that time the logo had been in existence for more than 12 years.

The round logo actually evolved from the similar circular Rapp Motorenwerke company logo, a company from which BMW was to expand into more and more products. However, while among aficionados there still is a dispute on whether the blue and white represent white blades cutting through the blue sky or the colors of the Free State of Bavaria, we have a short video to prove what’s what.

History would not support that alliances between the Germans and the Japanese don’t really benefit us that much but i think that this could be the exception that would prove the rule.

It’s Japanese tuner’s 3D Design take on the new BMW Z4 and I can’t help but like the look of it.

The new BMW Z4 is a handsome looking brute but the package 3D Design created for it is really helping it’s looks.

The package includes a new front lip spoiler and a trunk spoiler both made of urethane and a rear diffuser made of carbon fiber.

There aren’t many options on the color scheme as the car is only available in black, it’s a great fitting color but some of us may like a more fiery red or a relaxing blue. Perhaps the new 4-tip exhaust’s sound note will cheer you up.

There’s also a spectacular set of wheels that hit this car, they’re multi-spoke’d, with a nice silver touch to contrast the black of the car, the wheel and, of course, the tires.

Sadly the car is only limited to an exterior package so it’s not exactly game on for street racing but it is ready to show off for your neighbours.

Just as the title says, the Bavarians have won the fabled race that ended just hours ago with one of their new BMW M3 GT2’s run by Team Schnitzer.

The No. 25 BMW Team Schnitzer M3 GT2 of Jorg Müller, Augusto Farfus, Uwe Alzen and Pedro Lamy was the car to finish first at the 2010 24 Hours of Nurburgring marking a great comeback to the event.

The offset of the race didn’t look too promising for team BMW as Porsche announced they were ready to make history with their hybrid and Audi had completely dominated the qualifying sessions taking the first four spots on the grid and a lap record.

In the end it turned out that Porsche’s Hybrid system great as it may be isn’t good enough to last a full 24 hours of racing and Audi… well they had lots of problems but we have a good right to feel smug as BMW fans that the Bavarians stuck it to the four ringed company once again.

In full admittance the BMW M3 GT2 was slightly slower than the top competitors but it was far more reliable despite some gearbox concerns towards the end and had backing from a very organised team that helped the car through a radiator change during the night.

The final results of the race were as follows:

3. 97 Audi R8 LMS +1 lap
4. 76 BMW Z4 GT3 +2 laps
5. 102 Audi R8 LMS +2 laps
