Even if the Italian based Alfa Romeo released the Giulia`s top of the line QV as the main competitor of the BMW M3, it was eventually demonstrated that the sedan was too powerful than the German model, so instead, it turned its attention towards another potent model from BMW, the one-off M5.

The video below demonstrates how fast and powerful both cars are, each one showcasing its impressive acceleration, maximum of torque and eventually, sheer power. We are not going to spoil the surprise, you get to enjoy it later.

In order to understand both models and their high-end specs, we should take a look at their specs.

The F10 BMW M5 comes with a massive 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, developing 560 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, the massive BMW managing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. The engine is also hooked to a seven-speed DCT transmission.

On the other hand, the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV is sleeker yet extremely aggressive with its aerodynamic design, the Italian model packing a smaller 2.9-liter V6 turbo engine, with 510 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, with a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h delivered in 3.9 seconds. The top speed stands at 250 km/h.

So we have two powerful models, the M5 with bigger power and torque than the QV, yet being visibly massive as opposed to the sleek Italian high-end version. And when the Manhart Racing tuner decides to grab the M5 for some power upgrades, the result is purely amazing.

Just close your eyes and imagine the power that equips the stock F10 BMW M5 and figure out how much extra horses have the aftermarket specialists from Manhart added up underneath its skin?

Well, we are actually dealing here with a modified M5, with owner finally revealing the insides of this amazing piece of German engineering.

According to Auto Evolution magazine, this F10 BMW M5 has been fitted with the Schmiedmann power kit, which adds up more throttle to the already powerful 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. Additionally, this M5 has also received the Dinan carbon fiber intake, the Burger Motorsports Stage 1 kit as well as the new exhaust system.

This means that this F10 BMW M5 is ready to churn between 600 horsepower and 650 horsepower, depending on the race fuel, and an impressive 750 Nm of torque. But would that be enough to take on the modified 690 horsepower Audi RS6 Avant?

How would you feel like driving a hot BMW M5 with the stock 560 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque on the famous Autobahn? Just hang on for a while and discover the newly modified BMW M5 by the famous guys from the German G-Power tuning division and then you will definitely notice the difference.

Given the name of the tuner company, it is pretty obvious that the one-off BMW M5 has received some engine upgrades, which now makes it a real monster.

I am talking here about a huge difference as opposed to the present M5`s power, meaning that the 4.4-liter V8 TwinTurbo has now received 740 horsepower and impressive 975 Nm of torque. The torque improved was possible due to the new electronic management system, complemented by a fresh out of the box titanium exhaust system with carbon fiber tailpipes and racing catalysts.

With all these amazing mods, the BMW M5 by G-Power is now capable of sprinting from 0 to 200 km/h in an impressive 10.5 seconds, at a topping of 350 km/h.

But aside the mods carried over the engine, the guys from the G-Power tuning division have also fitted the M5 with a customized set of new 21-inch carbon fiber G-Power Hurricane RR forged wheels, sized 255/30 at the front and 295/25 at the rear. No price has been yet revealed, but it will surely be a spicy one.

The gorgeous F10 BMW M5 all wrapped in the Alpine White finish has recently received some one-of-a-kind wheels, signed by the guys from the famous MORR Wheels tuning division.

The MORR Wheels have fitted the F10 BMW M5 with a set of 21-inch MORR wheels, perfectly matching the color of the model, which has been also lowered to provide more grip on the road.

Surely, if it wasn’t for the car`s aggressive lines and design, the MORR wheels wouldn’t have fitted nicely and as Adrian van Hooydonk states, the design cues of the F10 BMW M5 has attracted a lot of famous aftermarket tuning divisions to carry out some interesting upgrade programs.

More than that, Van Hooydonk has genuinely reconstructed the design of the F10 BMW M5 which would definitely be an inspiration for the next-generation M5 model.

The BMW M5 model has been recently upgraded by the famous Dinan tuning company, with the founder Steve Dinan himself to explain his passion about BMW and about his latest project, called the BMW S1 M5.

The BMW S1 M5 project involves some heavy modifications carried out by Dinan at the sports car`s performance, talking here about 675 horsepower and 644 kb-ft of torque.

As Steve Dinan explains, the power boost is totally achieved due to the performance parts installed by the tuning company, meaning a carbon fiber cold air intake, free flow exhaust system, as well as the new DINANTRONICS Performance Tuner, which helps the engine output such a huge power.

More than that, the power boost is also given by the negative camber front control arms, along with lightweight tubular Anti-Roll bars and the High Performance Adjustable Coil-over System that provides the M5 with a decreased body roll and more aggressive stance.

No more rumors or spy shots, as the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M are finally announced to appear for the first time at the 2014 LA Auto Show, with the two top SUVs to hit US showrooms in spring 2015.

The news with the upcoming X5 M and X6 M come way back, since the beginning of the year, when the two SUVs were announced to be powered with an upgraded engine of the powerful V8 twin-turbo engine, which equips the present F10 BMW M5.

Since the rumors stated a initially 560 horsepower for the two of them, recent reports have refreshed the news, announcing a total output of 600 horsepower.

The 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M will come with some modifications at the body, meaning larger air intakes, a much wider body kit, revised rear diffuser and blue calipers M brakes.

The rear end is rather unchanged, the two top ranging SUVs coming with the well-known quad exhaust pipes, while the front end is highlighted by the flowing headlights into the 3D kidney grille.

Dinan revealed a new tuning kit for the well-known F10 BMW M5, a model which already benefits from quite a lot of power in the stock version. The American tuner focused on performance tweaks and installed a free-flow exhaust system, a carbon fiber cold air intake and a special DINANTRONICS module.

Thanks to these improvements, the 4.4-liter V8 which normally delivers 552 hp and 680 Nm of torque is now capable to produce 675 horses and 872 Nm of torque.

Additional performance figures were not released but expect better acceleration and top speed numbers considering that the power improvements are quite significant.

At the exterior, Dinan’s BMW M5 gets 20-inch forged wheels, carbon fiber mirror caps, revised spoilers, a deck lid badge and an adjustable coilover suspension.

New front and rear tubular anti-roll bars are offered as well as negative camber control arms.

The F10 BMW M5 is not a car that anyone would call underpowered, and it would certainly hold well in a drag race even in its stock form.

At least it would against a vehicle from the same class and price range. But what about against a Kenworth W900 semi truck?

As you might know, pretty much every semi truck out there produces more horse power than most normal vehicles, but they are not what you would call fast. Fact is most of that power is transformed into torque, so the semi truck can drag huge amounts of load behind them.

This Kenworth W900, however, is specially tuned by its owner to produce 2.400 Hp and 3.525 Nm of torque. Insane numbers, even for a semi, but how is it all put to use in the truck? We are about to find out, and so does the driver behind the wheel of the F10 BMW M5. So just watch the video below.
