Later reports stated that BMW carmaker would unveil the long-expected 2019 BMW X7 during the Los Angeles Motor Show, towards the end of November. However, according to recent statements, the model might hit celebrity a bit earlier.

Thanks to Allthecars magazine, we also have the first sketches which reveal the upcoming BMW X7. At a first glimpse, it does kinda look like the new X5, however, it is much bigger and longer, with notable features of its own.

From a visual standpoint, besides the massive grille both models share, the X7 stands out from the crowd with slimmer headlights and not that prominent front bumper with chrome bar extending into the air intakes. The sides of the X7 also come with a chromed lower accent, rather the same seen on the 7-Series Sedan.

Still on the sides, the X7`s profile reveal massive rear doors which improves entry for the third seat row. There is also a flatter roofline and a third quarter window, all revealing the massive size of the model.

Moving to the back, the most standout elements of the new X7 would be the dual exhaust system and the new taillights. More than that, at a closer look, you can also see the traditional panoramic glass roof or the smaller sunroof placed above the third row.

The overall design language is not the only similarity with the X5, as both models share a couple of engines. One of them is a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharger with 335 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, while the other one refer to a higher and much potent 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo, with 456 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.

On the diesel side, in Europe, the all-new 2019 BMW X7 might be equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged mill, with 261 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. There is also a 3.0-liter six-cylinder pot with 394 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. As expected, the German carmaker will also offer a plug-in hybrid, along with an M variant (possibly the long-rumored M850i), with around 522 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. Following numerous debates, leaked info, or renderings based on spy photos, the almighty 2018 BMW i8 Roadster has been finally revealed to the world in the first official videos which highlight its exclusive exterior, exciting driving and performance capabilities.

The model is also highlighted standing side-by-side its i8 Coupe variant, both models looking exceptionally well and appealing.

From a visual standpoint, the new i8 Coupe is everything a BMW enthusiast would ever want – a more evolutionary design, state-of-the-art technology, improved mile range and so on; and the i8 Convertible follows the same aesthetic rules.

As we can depict from the videos below, the 2018 BMW i8 Roadster features a soft top roof which is electronically stowed in its compartment in just 16 seconds. We are also dealing here with a fabric roof featuring a 3D printed mechanism that increases the car`s cargo space.

Inside, the i8 Roadster`s interior offers generous space as well, complemented with Tera World Copper with E-Copper upholstery, carbon fiber trim and sport steering wheel. All these are in perfect balance with the car`s exterior choice of E-Copper or Donnington Grey colours.

As mentioned before in previous posts, just like the new i8 Coupe, the i8 Roadster too comes with an increased range of around 18 miles.

The hybrid`s drivetrain involves a three-cylinder turbocharged engine plus an electric motor, which delivers a total of 369 horsepower. It also manages an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, meaning a 0.2 second difference compared with the i8 Coupe. The new battery also allows for an average consumption of 70 eMPG.

The all-new China-based BMW 1-Series is due to officialy arrive at the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show, opening its gates in November, but until then, the model was recently launched online in new details concerning exterior features, technology inside and engine lineup under the hood.

The 1-Series for China will be built in a partnership with BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd, and will come with longer bonnet and wheelbase compared to its European sibling, measuring 4,456 mm long, 1,803 mm wide and 1,446 mm high.

Mechanically, the all-new BMW 1-Series will be offered with new disc brakes, electromechanical power steering with Servotronic speed-related support and the Dynamic Stability Control, all offering increase driving comfort and sporty characteristics while being on the road.

Inside, the cabin will feature improved materials for the dasbhoard and center console, adding as well a plethora of gadgetries and safety systems.

Amongst the top features we should mention the BMW Connected system with mobility assistant feature for the driver, Open obility Cloud platform for smartphones and tablets. The safety gizmos refer to Driving Assistan with collision warning and city brake, or Parking Assistant.

In the engine department, the new 1-Series Sedan will be offered with three engines, fitted underneath the 118i Sedan, 120i Sedan and 125i Sedan. The first variant will use a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 134 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, enough to deliver a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds, at a top speed of 212 km/h. The fuel consumption will also be set at 5.5L100 km.

On the other hand, the 120i Sedan will come with a 2.0-liter flat-four petrol with 189 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. Hooked to an eight-speed automatic, the model will hit 100 km/h in no less than 7.5 seconds, at a topping of 235 km/h. This one is rated at 6.2L/100 km.

Finally, the 125i Sedan will be powered by the same 2.0-liter flat-four, developing a higher 228 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The power is sent to the wheels via an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. It will also come with a fuel consumption of 6.4L/100 km.

Following the introduction of the BMW M3 and M4 with the Competition Package, the German carmaker has recently released the details and the prices of both models on the United Kingdom market.

Thus, the BMW M3 and M4 are available from a base £59,595, and can go up to £60,055 and £63,350 respectively for the M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible.

Both models are equipped with the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo, with 450 horsepower and are connected to a six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed M Double Clutch transmission.

The M3 Sedan and the M4 Coupe sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds, while the convertible versions run the same straight line in 4.3 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.

From a mechanical point of view, the models also received the Adaptive M Suspension with new springs, anti-roll bars or dampers, adding as well the Comfort, Sport and Sport+ driving modes.

Visually, the BMW M3 and M4 with Competition Package pack the BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line Exterior trim, M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes, all complemented by the 20-inch forged M alloy wheels, with multi-spoke M design.

The cabin is also looking fresh with the lightweight M sports seats, seat belt with the BMW M stripes and a few more.

A couple of days ago, the M`s chief Frank van Meel, confirmed that the future BMW M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible would be equipped with the company`s special Competition Package.

Now, the news are back and we have the prices and the details for the Competition Package, which can be ordered not only for the new cars, but also for the existing ones.

In case you own one of the aforementioned models or want to buy a new one, you should then now that the Competition Package for the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe costs $5,500, while for the M4 Convertible, the price is set at $5,500.

For that money, you will get plenty of visual tweaks and fine goodies inside, as well as a software upgrade under the hood.

Thus, the BMW M3 or BMW M4 will look distinctive with the high-gloss Shadow Line exterior with gloss black kidney grille, adding the M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes, complemented by the 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels with high-performance rubbers.

Inside, all models will come with limited changes, like the M sports seats or the M-striped seat belts.

From a mechanical point of view, the Competition Package features the Adaptive M Suspension with fresh springs, dampers, or anti-roll bars. The safety features refer to the Active M Differential, new Dynamic Stability Control System, or the three different driving models, like Comfort, Sport and Sport+.

As already previewed, the Competition Pack adds up around 20 horsepower under the hood as well, the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine now churning out 450 horsepower, with a 0.1 seconds quicker response from 0 to 100 km/h.

MINI is about to launch the 2016 Clubman in the United States next January, but until then, the model can be also pre-ordered on the MINI`s USA website. Today, the carmaker has released some additional information about the model.

At a first glimpse, the 2016 MINI Clubman is visibly wider and longer than its predecessor, coming with high-end body and cabin features, along with an interesting engine lineup under the hood.

First off, the model will come with a lot of special body packages, each one having its own cost, depending on the standard and optional features.

Second, the cabin will also feature a lot of high-end materials, like the Indigo blue-dyed leather with diamond stitching, or Burgundy leather with Dinamica eco trim. Other inside special gizmos include the MINI infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display, steering wheel all wrapped with leather, dual-zone climate control, keyless ignition and so on.

The 2016 MINI Cooper S will add up the 17-inch forged alloy wheels, MINI Driving modess, including the Green, Mid and Sport features, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and more.

Under the hood, the 2016 MINI Clubman will come with three- and four-cylinder configuration, with the MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology mills, hooked to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, or to an optional eight-speed automatic and an eight-speed sport automatic, in the Cooper S version.

After the 2016 G11/G12 BMW 7-Series has been caught on shots and previewed in some slight details concerning the new iDrive system inside, new info has been emerged, in terms of performance and features inside.

First off, since the 2016 G11/G2 BMW 7-Series is standing on the company`s new platform, it will receive a lot of interesting safety features, like Advanced Parking Assist Package, Selective Headlight Beam or the Active Comfort Drive, which makes driving experience much safer.

The model will be also fitted with laser lights, but the full-LED highlights will be also available on the model.

Apart from these safety options, the model is also new inside the cabin, where it has now received a lot of tweaks, like the iDrive touchscreen, WI-FI Hotspot, wireless phone charging, the latest Bowers & Wilkins Audio System and much more.

With all these new features, the 2016 G11/G2 BMW 7-Series is now ready to compete against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

BMW have really high hopes for the BMW i8, especially given the amount of testing they keep racking up with it on the various roads it’s spied on.

We all know it’s not an easy market to break but boy are they being cautious. This is by no means the first time we get to see spyshots of the i8.

What seems friendlier is that this time, the i8 is spotted in somewhat more sensible conditions. It’s on a road, it’s plain and simple and it is even clean.

The last recent shots we have of it were making identifying any details tricky. Not only was the camouflage a pain to see through but the snow and dirt were getting in the way.

Notice how in these images it appears to be gently running around nicely paved roads, in a truly civilized manner. The details of its existence are still pretty insignificant.

“Word on the street” is that the price tag on a i8, once it gets to the market in 2014, will be somewhere around the 200.000 USD mark.

Even to me, a dedicated fan, that seems like it could easily be rated as a bit steep. Even for those who are thrilled by mixing electric with petrol and efficiency, that might be hard to swallow.

Still, we can only hope BMW keep on doing their job as they have been doing so far and that this car sells. While BMW have the crown, not all their cars are selling.

The BMW Z4 for example, a fabulous car though it might be, it was recently named among the top 10 poorest selling cars available in the US.

Love the S63Tu? Love the look of the F12 M6? Love the practicality of the F10 M5? They’ve all come together in one beautiful package.

It’s called the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, it had itself an official unveiling already and we even got to seem so gorgeous action shots of it.

All nice and pretty, but stills just don’t cut it these days. It’s all about the video, the only format which can really make it feel like an experience.

Which makes us really appreciate what BMW’s media department have done by publishing a new set of videos.

All of them are neatly available on YouTube (and embedded here) from various divisions of the company, depending on what they’re focused around.

Could the Christmas party be starting early inside BMW? There’s a decent chance of that being the case or it could actually have been planned out.

I’m not talking about the party but the official release of the brand new BMW M6 Gran Coupe only hours after a couple of shots of the car appeared online.

Alongside the new batch of photos, the Bavarian company released the technical specs on what this sexy four door has to offer.

Under its bonnet lives the S63Tu 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 powerplant that was already used in the M5 sedan and M6 coupe/convertible.

It develops the same 560 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque it does in the other M division products but there’s a bit of a surprise behind it.

Due to some work done to do the clever work done between transmission and launch control system, the acceleration time is the same as the M6 Coupe.

It takes the BMW M6 Gran Coupe 4.1 seconds to get from 0-60 mph and the top speed is at an electronically set 155 mph. Getting yourself the optional M Driver’s Package will lift that up to 189 mph.

Fuel consumption is rated at 9.9 lt/100km, 23.8 mpg US or 28.5 mpg UK on the EU cycle and the emissions of CO2 are said to be 232 g/km.

As usual with every M division made over BMW model, a newly shaped aerodynamic body kit is fitted. The cooling and venting of the powerplant and brakes were also improved.

Pricing for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe will come in just under the 170.000 USD mark in Germany. The rest of the world will have to wait for custom pricing.
