BMW launched the 6 Series Gran Coupe a while ago and the F12/F13 M6 a lesser while ago and here we are wondering what’s the next step in this evolution.

Yep, it’s the upcoming 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe. It was recently spied in the winter testing haven that most photographers haunt and the shots have started trickling in.

Unfortunately, the camouflage levels are considerably bigger than you’d expect, especially since word has it the 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe will debut later this year.

Apart from a new lower body kit we really don’t expect much of a surprise from the 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Actually, the surprises are expected to be even less impressive than that.

The engine will be the same 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 we’ve seen before in the X5 M, X6 M, M5 and M6. We might see it get a little tuned up but we don’t expect it to produce much more than 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.

No new gearboxes are expected and nor do we expect to see any revolution in driving dynamics.

That said, because of the larger and heavier body BMW will have their work cut out designing a suspension system for the M6 Gran Coupe.

Where things are likely to become a little bit more impressive is in the interior. Apart from that “all cars should have one” M Button addition and a few tasty gadgets, BMW should provide something special.

Be it a steering wheel that’s not a dust bin lid with two holes in it or a special seating support system (maybe one that does the same for the rear seats), something will be there.

It seems we’re getting quite the number of spyshots lately and after the series of snaps we got of the i3 and the M135i, we now get something that little bit special.

We’re looking at the 2014 BMW i8 which was spied round the same sort of track like location as the i3, only this time it was looking that little less serious.

Sure, it’s important to test winter driving, how the car’s engine reacts to very low temperatures and how the batteries cope with the tricky conditions but that’s not all a car can do in the winter.

As you can see in some of these shots, the BMW i8 tested here is happily hooning it around the improvised circuit just for the fun of it.

Sadly, this unit of the BMW i8 is so covered in camouflage somebody might easily lose it in the parking lot at a child daycare. Seriously, there’s so much camo on that thing it’s amazing to see the windows aren’t covered.

Anyway, the pictures are worth enjoying and the snapshots have refreshed our memories about how the BMW i8 is getting ever closer to a market release.

With a predicted turn up next year, the mid-engined supercar featuring electric motors and what’s rated as the best mix between a green and high performance future.

Pricing, availability, practicality are still up for discussion but whatever those stats come in at, you know you’ll want one, if not for anything else, for the fun exhibited here.

For a big part of the world, the winter season has barely started showing its fangs but in the northern countries winter testing facilities are almost permanent.

That’s how the Paparazzi of the automotive world have managed to snap some more shots of the BMW i3 as it is being tested in these harsh conditions.

It’s not the first encounter we get with the spyshots of the BMW i3, nor is it the first time it’s been spotted along side a winter background but these pictures make a good case for viewing.

Firstly, this time the BMW i3 EV REx wasn’t spotted on a road or in simple conditions but rather lapping a bit of a circuit outlined in the snow.

This means that even though we’re looking at an i Range product, one that’s meant to save the world first, BMW is still concerned about the way it drives.

It should come as no surprise really. If BMW managed to make the enormous barge that is the Phantom handle decently and the small Mini handle beautifully, there’s nothing they can’t do in this area.

As for the rest of the BMW i3, there’s nothing new going on. It looks about the same, is still heavily camouflaged every time it’s out and there’s no change in its schedule or future plans.

We’re still expecting an official market launch sometime in early 2013 with the REx version destined to follow shortly after that.

On the sales front, BMW still hope to sell some 30.000 units a year once the i3 gets past the initial sluggishness of distribution and so on.

It have passed some time since we talked last time about the 2011 BMW 6 Series but I think I remember pretty well that time and I also remember that we also talked about other spy photos with this car so if you want to look at more photos with it, you can simply search on this blog for them.

You should know that this 2011 BMW 6 Series is based on the CS-Concept and also the new 5 Series which makes me to understand why is this car looking so familiar to me. Also, it looks to be a convertible as you can see because it has a black soft roof.

Talking about the 6 Series, you should know that there are some rumors saying that the new BMW M6 is going to have a turbo-charged V8 engine which can be found on the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M which replaces the current V10.

This winter testing of the 2012 BMW 3 Series (F30) have been made in Scandinavia which is the place where a lot of spy videos but also spy photos are being made because of a frozen lake which is probably very good to test the prototypes. Hyundai and Kia have also been testing some prototypes on that frozen lake.

There may be some engine choices available for you but only one have been rumored namely a petrol-fueled four-cylinder petrol engine but there may also come a hybrid version. It would be so cool to come from this 2012 BMW F30 the ActiveHybrid 3.

The all specs around the internet about this 2012 BMW 3 Series (F30) are mostly saying that it will have a lengthened wheelbase and a bigger body. People are waiting for this 2012 BMW 3 Series (F30) to be launched in 2011 or most lately, in 2012, probably at the beginning of that year.

I must say that there have passed a while from when I talked last time about a 5 Series built by BMW. Here we got some spy photos while the 2011 BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase Sedan was being tested on winter time as you can see in the spy photos that I have uploaded in this post.

We know that this 2011 BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase Sedan will come with a 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine which may be considered a big engine but there will also be a 4.4 liter V8 turbocharged engine which is much more powerful than that one.

Anyway, you may still consider those engines very powerful but I tell you that such a big car really needs a big engine because just by looking in the spy photos that I have uploaded in this post you can notice how big can be this 2011 BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase Sedan.
