The BMW 8-Series is popping up in our news again, after the high-end model was also rumored online to spawn a much more potent M8 version, making it thus the most powerful in its class.

Now we have a fresh batch of renderings signed by L`Autombile, which is showcasing the 8-Series wearing a two-door coupe and a convertible body styling and the same aggressive design we have been accustomed with ever since the first renderings were launched about six months ago.

The future 8-Series is also envisioned here with a much sportier attitude, accentuated by the long hood, short overhangs, sloping roofline, Hoffmeister Kink and other new styling bits that can also be found on the present 7-Series.

As we already know, BMW is planning the arrival of the 8-Series in the shape of a coupe. Once it will emerge on the market in a couple of years, the all-new model will stand on the same UKL platform, also underpinning the likes from 5- and the 7-Series, meaning lightweight materials for high-performance and increase driving dynamics. The 8-Series will also borrow most of the engines found on the 7-Series, adding some impressive power boost.

On the other hand, the future M8 would come with more than 600 horsepower onboard, all squeezed from a new 4.0-liter V8 engine. With the new power, the M8 would be capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.0 seconds.

Once it would emerge on the market somewhere in 2019 or 2020, the new BMW M8 will rival against the Mercedes-AMG S63 and S65 Coupe, or the all-new Bentley Continental GT Speed. Stay tuned for more details, meanwhile, enjoy the renderings with the upcoming 8-Series!

The fresh new out of the box BMW M4 Coupe was showing off in a video, while being driven by some journalists from Auto Express publication.

The video is literally showing the BMW M4 Coupe at work, being tested by the journalists in order to find out if the performances are worthy of following the footsteps of the previous M3 Coupe.

As already known, the BMW M4 Coupe was first unveiled some months ago, being actually the new M3 coming with a two-door coupe body style.

The BMW M4 Coupe made its first public appearance at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, or the NAIAS, Detroit, coming with the Active M Differential, electronic power steering as well as a much more aggressive body kit.

Under the hood, the BMW M4 Coupe sports the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo, also seen on its sibling, the M4 Convertible.

The engine develops a good 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque as it is hooked to a 6-speed manual or the optional 7-speed M DCT transmission, which sends the power to the rear wheels.

The BMW M4 Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, having an electronically limited speed of 250 km/h.

The BMW i8 is also in to the spotlights again, this time we are talking about a tuned version of the famous model that hit the web in some photos.

Even if the BMW i8 was unveiled last year, there are still aftermarket specialists that work closely with the German automaker to produce different custom and special models, like this i8 seen in the photos.

The pictures with the green sports car are some renderings made by ISS Forged, ML24 and PS-Garage that have fitted the i8 with ground effects kit from carbon fiber, alongside different rims.

The BMW i8 is being produced in Leipzig, Germany, with the two-door coupe measuring 4,700 long, 1,940 mm wide and 1,300 high, also with a curb weight of 1,485 kg.

Under the hood, the BMW i8 has a 1.5-liter I3 turbo engine, developing 228 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The unit is hooked to a hybrid synchronous motor, outputting 129 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

Thus, the BMW i8 develops a total of 357 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.

A video has just been launched over the internet, with Chris Harris taking the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid for a 24-hour spin to Los Angeles.

The BMW i8 is in the spotlights again while being driven for the very first time by Chris Harris who shows us in details how the plug-in handles on the road.

The BMW German based luxury automaker released the final version of the i8 plug-in hybrid model last year, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The BMW i8 is manufactured in Leipzig, Germany and will be hitting the BMW dealerships in Europe starting June and in the US a month later.

The BMW i8 two-door coupe comes with a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack “with a usable capacity of 5.2 kWh”, providing an electric range of 37 km.

The BMW i8 is fuel-efficient having an internal combustion engine which burns around 2.1L / 100 km, with 49 g/km emissions.

The BMW i8 plug-in hybrid has a total output of 357 horsepower (266 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. Enjoy the video with Chris Harris behind the wheel of the BMW i8.

The BMW 2-Series was recently revealed to the public and right now, the German based manufacturer is planning a Cabrio version to be launched at the end of 2014.

The fresh new 2-Series Cabrio would be the follower of the 2-Series lineup. The Cabrio will be launched at the end of the year after being put to tests in the cold parts of Europe.

The BMW 2-Series Cabrio will actually be the next-in-keen of the 1-Series Cabrio, whose production was stopped last year due to bad sales.

The fresh-new BMW 2-Series Cabrio is supposed to be larger than the 1-Series, coming with a foldable soft top. The platform it shares would be the same with the two-door coupe sibling`s, in terms of design and engine lineup.

The BMW 2-Series Cabrio will likely to be unveiled at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, taking place in Detroit.

More details about the engine and tweaks inside will be rendered at the moment of the 2-Series launching.
