With BMW vastly expanding their car lineup and adding completely new types of cars to the list, this year proved to be quite fruitful for the manufacturer.

August is a record holder considering BMW sales, as were a couple other months this year.

The magic number of cars which the German car maker managed to sell in August was a whooping 145.902 units. By comparison, August of 2013 only managed to sell 139.650 units, which is quite the difference. The relatively new Chinese market took a big chunk of that sales, making the Asia the best selling region for BMW.

This is the first time this is happening, but somehow it doesn’t seem that surprising. According to the press release, sales are still growing, and BMW officials are quite confident that they will manage to break the 2 million units sold in 2014. I have a feeling this will indeed happen, even if the end of the year is closing in.

The BMW is yet again the leader in the US on the luxury segment, managing to bit up Mercedes-Benz, as it had record sales in June.

The BMW luxury automaker is strengthening its position as the leader on the luxury market, having a 12 percent increase in the US, increase which was possible due to the huge selling of the 5-Series sedan, with around 7,940 units to be delivered.

Its main competitor, the Mercedes-Benz luxury automaker managed to sell 26,505 units in June, with only an 8 percent increase, a positioned insured by the E-Class sedan, with 6,500 units.

With these numbers ahead, the BMW carmaker is maintaining its leading position for the first half of the year, managing to sell 157,382 units in the US alone, while the Mercedes-Benz automaker sold 151,624 vehicles.

As for the other carmakers taking their share on the luxury segment, we are talking about Lexus, the Toyota`s subsidiary, which scored a 10 percent increase in June, with a total of 23,518 to be sold.

Audi carmaker also managed to increase its sales in the US, up to 23 percent in June, with 16,867 units sold in the last month alone.

The BMW Group has been a top constant presence on the premium market worldwide, providing the best vehicles and it seems that 2014 is also a lucky number for the German automaker, as it still keeps the first place.

The BMW German based luxury automaker has just announced that last month the company managed to have record sales, with an overall 85% over the same period last year.

Thus, for the first quarter of 2014, the BMW manufacturer was ahead its competitors with around 11%, over the same period in 2013, reaching a total production of 569,100 units to be manufactured.

BMW managed the record sales due to the boost of the SUV lineup worldwide, like the X1, X3 and also the X5 range.

Ian Robertson, the sales chief at BMW stated in a press release that the German Group managed to have record sales in April, heading towards its plans of selling more than 2 million units for 2014.

With all that, the BMW Group must keep its head up, since the menace from the heavy competitors like Audi and Mercedes-Benz is still going on fast paces.

The BMW car manufacturer has managed the record of selling more car units in November than ever sold before in any other month, with low orders in Europe, but high ones in the US and China.

The BMW`s sales for November rose by 2.7 percent compared to the last year`s November, heading towards an impressive 174,996 cars to be sold in the entire world, as the car manufacturer announced on Tuesday.

Combining the whole sales from January to November 2013, the BMW car manufacturer managed to sell 1.77 million units, with 6.8 percent more than the last`s years sales during the same period.

Since the car manufacturer was due to rich record sales in 2013, director Ian Robertson from the BMW market department speaks about that: “We expect continuing positive sales in the month’s ahead, despite challenging conditions especially in European markets.”

To go back, in 2012 BMW set up a delivery plan that reached 1.85 million units. This year, the high demands which included BMW, Rolls Royce and the new Rover Mini, were significantly important in China with 19.7 percent from January to November and in the United States, with 9.2 percent for the same period.

With these record sales, the BMW still remains the world`s leading car seller for the year 2013 as well.
