No more rumors, no more spied shots with the MINI five-door body style, as the attracting model was revealed some moments ago at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The MINI 5-door model is set to be more practical than the 3-door model, coming with some refreshed design cues, still keeping contact with the original model.

The fresh MINI 5-door has a stretched wheelbase with around 72 mm, with bigger boot than now stands at a total of 278 liters.

The MINI 5-door model will come equipped under the hood with the engine lineup also seen on the smaller three-door brother, meaning a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo, with 136 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque.

The higher 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo churns out a good 192 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, in the Cooper S version.

The MINI 5-door will also come with two diesel options, like the 1.5-lite three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo, with 116 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, in the Cooper D version.

The other diesel burner, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder, equips the Cooper SD version, outputting 170 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, hooked to a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed Steptronic automatic, also available on all versions.

The BMW`s subsidiary MINI automaker is ready to refresh its lineup in Australia, by launching the One Hatch model on the hot continent, with prices to start from 24,500 AUD.

For the base entry-level MINI One Hatch, you will get a lot of fine tweaks, as the model has already outrun the previous MINI Ray generation in terms of performance at a lower price.

The MINI One Hatch will be sporting a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood, which will develop 75 kW and 180 Nm of torque, the unit being hooked to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The MINI One Hatch is also available with a 6-speed automatic transmission, in case you want to throw in another 2,350 AUD.

The Australians will get the chance to enjoy the MINI One Hatch as the model is also fuel efficient, consuming an average of 4.9L / 100 km for the manual, while the automatic stands at 5.0L / 100 km.

The higher 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit develops 100 kW and 200 Nm of torque, having a consumption of 4.7L / 100 km in the manual and 4.9L / 100 km in the automatic.

The MINI Cooper D diesel is also available from 31,800 AUD, while the top of the line MINI Cooper S can be yours from 36,950 AUD.

The Minitune tuning company has decided to turn the MINI Cooper S into one of a kind vehicle, by upgrading the car with a fine package that really makes it stands in front.

The MINI Cooper S has received thus some important tweaks from the famous aftermarket specialists at Minitune, like a fine body kit, with aerodynamic side skirts, a front lip spoiler, a fresh rear bumper and much more.

Apart from that, the MINI Cooper S by Minitune has also received a Koni sport suspension system, wearing an 18-inch Motec Nitro alloy wheels on Kumho tires.

Under the hood, the Minitune specialists have powered the MINI Cooper S with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, that has also received a high-performance intercooler, optimized ECU and sports exhaust system.

The upgraded engine is thus able to develop a higher 218 horsepower and 319 Nm of torque, which is 44 horses and 79 Nm of torque higher from the previous power.

As for the prices involved for the MINI Cooper S by Minitune, there are no fresh news on that. Expect further info on that!

The BMW`s subsidiary MINI is planning to launch new versions worldwide, as it was caught on camera with the three-door Cooper S Cabrio and the five-door Cooper S.

The two MINI versions were caught by spy photographers while undergoing some tests on the tracks, at Nurburgring.

As it can see in the spy shots, the fresh five-door version is coming with a longer wheelbase and smaller doors than the three-door version.

The MINI Cooper S five-door model will ride on the same UKL 1 modular platform also seen on the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, due to be unveiled at the end of 2013.

On the other hand, the MINI Cooper S Cabrio three-door version will be longer and also wider than the present model, but tweaking a smaller grille, a longer hood and a slimmer A-pillars.

The S badge will be more visible on the model. As for the rest of the features the MINI Cooper S Cabrio sports, more models will share them.

As far as the engine goes, we might be talking about the same unit lineup that is present on the current three-door and five-door models.

The BMW`s subsidiary MINI has managed to come up with another fine-tuned Cooper model, which is the S model, working closely with the famous Mansory to redefine the car`s body and interior.

If you take a closer look at the sportscar, you can see the fine touches that Mansory has put on. We might be talking about a fresh new front bumper and a retouched front and rear fender extensions.

More than that, the exterior also gets two-piece side skirts, a radiator grille from aluminum and also a rear bumper apron being brought along with a diffuser.

Also, for the right price of 4,375 euro you can get a lacquered finish for your MINI Cooper S, and for an extra 592 euro you can equip the MINI with a Remus rear silencer with exhaust tips.

Add more, around 2,500 euro and you will equip the sports car with some fine 18-inch forged wheels and fresh new tires.

As for the MINI Cooper S`s inside, Mansory managed to put some fine Nappa leather, with touches coming in green carbon fiber accents, along with crocodile leather for the headrests, for the right price of 7,000 euro.

The 2010 Engine of the Year contest has concluded and while our favorite Bavarian car maker hasn’t had an overall win or a performance related win the trophies earned are quite amazing.

The judges at the fabled competition gave BMW a prize for three categories, four if you’re willing to count the Mini Cooper S’s victory.

The first win came in the 1.8 to 2.0 liters category and it went to BMW for their 2 liter inline-four diesel delivers 204 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Using this engine the 123d delivers 37 mpg even driven to some serious performance driving.

The next win came at the upper category with the BMW N54 taking the glory in the 2.5 to 3.0 liters section and it is a well worth prize as I don’t recall anybody, ever, having something less than great to say about it.

The Bavarians at BMW get another prize in the 3.0 to 4.0 liter category for the S65 4.0 liter V8 engine that can only be found in the M3. That’s pretty much all you need to know.

As an added bonus, the subsidiary company, Mini took best in class at the 1.4 to 1.8 liter category for the engine in the Cooper S for the combination of performance and fuel efficiency.

Here we got some really cool spy photos with MINI Cooper S Facelift that are revealing us the full design of the car either that the car is camouflaged with camouflage stickers, we can still see the shapes of the car which are revealing us some updates made at the front and rear side.

The spy photos with this MINI Cooper S Facelift were taken in the south of Germany. As I said, there are some changes at the front and rear side including slightly modified air take and camo tape at points on the front bumper.

Also, this MINI Cooper S Facelift comes with new rear lighting and the clusters are including LEDs. The rear bumper will be totally replaced according to the thoughts of the photographer. This MINI Cooper S Facelift will be released next year making part of 2012 generation of cars.
