AC Schnitzer, the specialist BMW German tuner has announced that they will be getting their own stand at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in order to give us a bit of a treat.

They will be showcasing a specially tuned up version of the latest BMW 3 Series, the F30 model.

It’s a pretty good looking machine but there are a few issues with what AC Schnitzer think the new 3 Series should be like.

The biggest of which is the fact that you’re not getting any performance or technical upgrades of any kind in time for the Geneva Motor Show. They say they are under development but will come in later.

It’s almost fair, since the Geneva Motor Show isn’t exactly a rolling expo so apart from reading a spec sheet, that stuff couldn’t excite you too much there.

What you do get to see is the newly designed aerodynamic body kit, the obligatory sports exhaust system as well as plenty of wheel combinations in sizes starting at 18 and going all the way up to 20 inches.

Inside the F30 BMW 3 Series, AC Schnitzer will be offering a sportier steering wheel, aluminium pedals and custom floor mats and accessories.

Really not a bad offering but I was thinking traditional tuners would take on the F30 3 Series by deleting the headlight parts that are on the verge of touching the kidney grills.

Maybe Alpina will do that at a later time. Those tech kits will come along later and, joy of joy for Europeans, will not leave diesel owners behind.

BMW’s Z8 has been out of the picture for so long most of us forgot about it. It may have had something to do with how “not that good” it was, but still, it’s faded away.

The Germans at Senner Tuning seem to still have a fresh memory of the top of the line BMW roadster of a decade ago and they’ve decided it could be updated.

Which is exactly what they’ve done with their latest project, a tune-up for a previously modern roadster that wanted to be old-school.

Senner Tuning’s new kit starts off properly with a new set of wheels. We’re talking 19 inch Schwert SC1 alloys that wrap around new Racing Gold varnished brake calipers.

The better stopping power, along with some extra grip will also help the BMW Z8 go faster since it’s now wearing Continental Sport Contact 5P “shoes”.

No stiletto’s here but proper running gear with sizes 255/40R19 up front and 285/35R19 at the back.

And then we get closer to the action, Senner Tuning fitted the Z8 roadster with a coilover kit, new front strut bar and adjustable rebound rate.

Cherry on top time; the 5.0 liter V8 engine we originally saw in the E39 M5 isn’t swapped out but improved upon. Thanks to a sports air filter, a custom exhaust system and an ECU remap, the output is now 450 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque.

Pretty nifty, especially when you consider the whole package is available for as little as €14.900 in Europe (roughly 24.500 USD).

If you’re thinking about it, stop, a second hand Z8 won’t be yours for less than 100.000 dollars if it’s to be in running order.

The F30 BMW 3 Series has started to make more and more appearances on the road, in showrooms and so on but really, it’s still a pretty rare catch.

And when it comes to M3 levels, the E92 is still the car you’re looking at. This is why Manhart decided to give it a final makeover before it gets sent off and replaced.

The new creation is called the Manhart MH3 V8 RS Clubsport and it is a road going car; or at least, that’s what it says on the tin.

When you take a look at the spec sheet and modification list you start to wonder about that fact. Spot the roll cage they’ve inside and your spider sense is really tingling.

And then we get to the engine. The E92’s BMW M3 4.0 liter V8 engine makes room for 4.4 liter V8, the same one that powers the X5M and X6M. Still, the German tuner decided it’s not enough.

Therefore they proceeded to upgrade the turbos, the intercooler, the oil cooler, replace the catalytic converters with racing ones and the exhaust with a titanium setup.

In the end, you have a BMW M3 E92 which can push out 750 horsepower and 671 lb-ft of torque. Thus, the tuner now saw itself forced to improve upon other aspects as well.

The brakes are now made by MOVIT and apart from being enormous on the front, they’re enormous at the back as well. Manhart also fitted the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport with a new body kit, one made entirely out of carbon fiber and, though racy in it’s setup, it looks pretty impressive.

Overall it’s hard to fault the BMW M3 MH3 V8 RS Clubsport except maybe in the pricing, which is yet to be announced. Still, you can’t expect a 0 to 62 time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph to come cheap, do you?

BMW has always treated performance enthusiasts well, they’ve even catered to the needs of the family guy with a desire to burn rubber.

By some accounts, the Bavarian brand is not compromised in any way but there’s still plenty out there who think that’s the case.

Most complaints of recent times would come with the really limited numbers of the BMW M3 GTS limited edition model so they’ve turned their attention to tuning companies for their kicks.

A little late to the party comes German tuner a-workx who are offering the BMW M3 460cs conversion of an E92 M3.

Rest assured, this is one properly spiked punch bowl, as the exterior finish that’s basically identical to the standard E92 M3, only it’s decked out with BMW’s racing colors and teamed with a set of 19 inch ATS racing wheels.

These are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires and cover most of the brake disks without a hitch. Those brake disks come from the MOV ‘IT CER ceramic lineup and are optional extra which brings quite the cost issue to attention.

What you get as standard is a performance boost up to 460 horsepower and 339 lb-ft from the 4.0 liter V8, a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic (the Evolution model) a full KW suspension kit and a new limited-slip differential from Drexler.

Teaming the added power with the lighter construction make the BMW M3 460cs rather fast as it will go from 0 to 62 in just 4.2 seconds and to 124 in just 13.2 seconds.

If not enough a-workx will be opening up the option list and point towards the supercharger kit which bumps performance to a serious 600 horsepower.

The BMW M3 460cs kit will set you back €34.000 (roughly 45.800 dollars) for the regular brake setup and a considerably dearer €52.000 (around 70.000 USD).

The Germans at CLP Automotive have put me in quite the hotspot, I now have to talk about their Bruiser kit for the BMW X6 without being redundant.

This is almost impossible as whatever you want to say about the BMW X6, its mods or any tuning options without once again assessing just how ugly it is.

In CLP Automotive Bruiser form, the BMW X6 accentuates this main negative aspect of itself and fails to offer anything other than a few design alterations.

Under the new skin of the BMW X6 Bruiser, CLP Automotive doesn’t even offer anything in terms of performance, there’s not even a sports air filter, a sports exhaust system or anything of the likes.

What CLP Automotive did was to create the Bruiser revolves around the new body kit, a new set of wheels together with some other bits and pieces.

If I’m honest, the front doesn’t look that bad as all they’ve done here is open up the air ducts and fit some honeycomb grille behind them.

The rear end doesn’t seem bad either, the new quad exhaust tips and the obvious diffuser make for happy bedfellows with the BMW X6’s rather sporty rear end.

Where it really goes wrong is the profile. That’s where the German tuner opted for some really cheap looking sideskirts and an unusually large bulge in the rear wings.

Apparently, there’s an optional rear spoiler included in the mix but it shouldn’t be more obvious than the eyelids they’ve fitted to the BMW X6.

The engine of this BMW 5 Series GT by AC Schnitzer is based on the six cylinder engine from the 530d which was able to develop up to 245 horsepower but after the tuners from AC Schnitzer made their job, this BMW 5 Series GT by AC Schnitzer is able to develop up to 286 horsepower.

Talking about the aspect of this BMW 5 Series GT by AC Schnitzer, it comes with sports rear silencer, chromed Sports Trim tailpipe trims, chromed racing tailpipe trim, front and rear spoilers, bonnet vents with chromed center web, side skirts and 19” or 20” alloy forged wheels.

A few days ago we talked about the BMW M3 E92 by Miranda Series. Now it’s the time to see what G-Power, a german firm of tuning, did for the BMW M3 E92. They weren’t so satisfied with 420hp stock M3 Engine and made from it a 635hp power, with half power more then the stock one.

This package has 3 stages of tuning. With the first one, you can upgrade your BMW M3 E92 to 525hp with 525nm for 7,500.00 EUR (about $10,000.00), but you can opt for the 2nd and 3nd stages, which goes up to 550 and 635hp. I’m sure that all these 3 package will make from your engine a great sound.

Also, this firm of tuning, G-Power, has made a package for BMW M5 which consists in 730hp engine power and it makes from this car the fastest sedan in the world. The BMW M5 by G-Power car goes up to 367.4Kmh!
