The G11 BMW 7-Series is finally here, as the model has been recently leaked in some shots, revealing the model from different angles. This should be enough to form a strong opinion on how the vehicle would look like.

The BMW 7-Series is supposed to be launched sometime this year, becoming the direct opponent of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

To cope with the strong competition from Mercedes-Benz, the Bavarian premium carmaker has designed something unique, as its models are on a constant evolutionary level in terms of design and performance.

Taking a look at the model, one might resemble a more robust body style with unique features, like revised front fascia, a front bumper looking rather the same with the one found on the 6-Series, elongated taillights, or massive exhaust pipes.

Inside, the 2016 BMW 7-Series will also receive a special treatment, but so far, there are no fresh images with its interior.

Under the hood however, the 2016 BMW 7-Series is also rumored to get the 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit, developing 260 horsepower. Other engines are also announced, like the 6-cylinder and 330 horsepower, the V8 edveloping 460 horsepower, or the 6.6-liter V12 with 600 horsepower.

Since the present model is still using the Bang & Olufsen audio system, the upcoming 7-Series is rumored to come with a different audio system, which will perfectly complement the car`s iDrive system.

As said, rumors state that the upcoming G11 BMW 7-Series will be installed inside with a state of the art and hi-fi system from the Bowers & Wilkins British based audio manufacturer.

The audio system will consists of 12-channel Harman 1,400 watts Class D amplifier, coming with an overall of 19 Bowers & Wilkins speakers. So performance would be at its best.

The B & W audio system is also fitting other important sports car manufacturer like Maserati, Jaguar, or recently partner Volvo, which will install the audio system on the upcoming 2016 Volvo XC90.

Whether the G11 BMW 7-Series will use the B & W audio system or not, that remains to be found out at the Frankfurt Auto Show, next year.

Rumors with the G11 BMW 7-Series coming with a new iDrive system have now been confirmed, as the model was caught on shots, wearing the refreshed iDrive system. Now, all the latest innovative technologies are put together in this extraordinary system, which was once considered dangerous for the driver.

But what innovation does it bring fresh? First off, seen in the shots pictures from Poltan.org, the new iDrive system allows receiving inputs through gestures and touches, with the help of the iDrive controller.

Moreover, the new iDrive system will come with a friendly interface that would not divert the driver from its usual driving, making sure that the touch sensitive LCD screen can now be controlled via voice commands.

To complement the new iDrive system, the G11 BMW 7-Series will not be fitted with the common Bang & Olufsen system, instead it will use another high-tech audio system.

But BMW has also announced that only the G11 BMW 7-Series will receive the latest technology, being just in a testing phase, and all other present BMW models will still enhance the iDrive Operation System, which will suffer some updates, like tile-based navigation features which will allow an horizontally swiping on the screen.

BMW is caught again in the act with some leaked photos concerning the appearance of the upcoming 7-Series, using a cutting-edge technology concerning the usage of yet again carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

The next generation of the 7-Series will fall under the protective wings of the G11 chassis and will make its way into the market, somewhere in 2015.

Of course that the spied shots reveal the forthcoming 7-Series in camouflage; interestingly, the car now reveals all the production reading parts underneath. Now, the car is equipped with parts previously missing, like a production quality polished and stylized dual oval exhaust transformed into a cut clear bumper.

The G11 also features side skirts, front bumper and large kidney grills, nicely running with the hood cut line and the headlights.

The next 7-Series G1 is supposed to bear the performance of the M symbol. The engine is also said to bear the marks worthy of some M Performance and treatment. As soon as we find out more about the rumored car, we will let you know.
