A photo session carried out by Ciprian Mihai Photography showcases the great looking 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible from different angles, an exclusive session that couldn’t have been possible without the help of model Elena Horvath.

The 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible is sharing its platform with the F30 and the F32 models, but being quite larger in width, track and wheelbase than the BMW 3-Series Convertible.

We are talking about 4.638 mm in length, 1.825 mm in width and 1.384 mm in height, while the overall weight of the BMW 4-Series Convertible stands at just 1,815 kg.

The BMW 4-Series Convertible is equipped with a wide range of engines, for its 435i Convertible version, as well as for the 428i, the 420d and the 430d, with the company planning to expand the lineup with an upcoming 420i and 435d xDrive versions.

The BMW`s 4-Series Gran Coupe (F36) it is just round the corner for a world debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show. The car was also spotted for a spin through some spied photos.

The photos show some patent design images with the upcoming 4-Series Gran Coupe, which is a clear indication on how the car would look under its camouflage. The images don’t reveal the aspect of the car, but we might think it will be definitely a hatchback.

The Gran Coupe model (F36) has the same exterior as the Coupe, but it comes though with a prolonged roofline and two more doors. As for the interior, the model will feature the same styling as the other 4-Series models.

Concerning the power under the hood, the F36 will also sport the same engine lineup as the Coupe (F32) and the Convertible models.

The 4-Series Gran Coupe will be priced and also positioned in the 3 and 4-Series lineup, the way the 6-Series is prices and positioned in the 5 or 6-Series lineup, meaning that it stands between the coupe and the convertible models.

We all know by now what the new 4 Series is quite a good looking machine, as there were plenty spy shots and studio pictures to sate most.

And while a picture might be a good start, they just don’t do it for the most avid enthusiasts.

Now, before the official launch of the F32 BMW 4 Series, the German car maker decided to give the fans a little taste of what’s to come. They invited some of them to come and meet in person the new model from BMW. They recorded the reactions the F32 4 Series managed to catch and released them online in a short video.

It’s needles to say that the model did a good first impression on those lucky enough to be present. The exterior looks were, of course, the main attraction. In pure BMW style, the F32 4 Series keeps close to its concept model, and everybody loved that. It also helps differentiate it from it’s 3 Series predecessor, a target BMW aims to achieve throughout its vehicle range.

The Detroit Motor Show is loaded with stuff. They have cars, and trucks and like minivans, but they also have awesome concept cars to show off.

BMW’s 4 Series Coupe Concept is not exactly a surprise and despite the branding, it’s not that much of a concept either.

What it is, is something truly awesome. Something BMW could not hide from this time is how the new 4 Series looks like in the real world.

Flood lights, lack of photoshop options and the absence of a stunning background scenery could easily detract from the new looking coupe.

Would the svelte body look “fatter” this way? Would the carefully planned out details and sculpted shapes lose charm when things are more hectic?

That could easily happen and we’ve seen it happen over time on various occasions. This isn’t the case though.

The F32 BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept looks just as stunning in these more difficult to control conditions and that’s not something to take away from the Bavarians.

When it comes to the real world, the concept status will be dropped, some genuine naming will replace it. We expect the BMW 428i and 435i to be the most popular versions.

Vehicles which do get the popularity vote will be those with sportier versions of the big 3.0 liter straight six cylinder engines.

So far, we’ve heard of the F32 BMW 440i being an option in the lineup and it could be such a taste of the wonderful things to come with the new M4.

I really love… Never mind, it’s a tad repetitive. I’m quite fond of the way BMW have introduced their brand new F32 4 Series and they’re calling it a concept.

To brand faithful that sounds a bit like telling your teenage children that you’re a virgin. You don’t believe it, he doesn’t believe it, but in both minds it is somehow acceptable.

Getting into the depths of the F32 BMW 4 Series Concept is a little tricky unless you find out more about it. Fortunately, that’s not the same as finding out about your parents having sex.

Becoming intimate with the two door version of the newest 3 Series, is going to take a while since BMW is one of the good girls.

Before we get to see the shapes, we have to know what makes it run. In this case we expect the F30 3 Series’ engines to carry over.

In terms of dimensions, this lady measures in at 4.641 mm long, 1.826 mm wide and 1.362 mm tall. This means that its longer and wider than the sedan, but shorter.

Looking into some specifics, we find that the front track is wider by 1.8 inches and that the rear one is wider by 3.1 inches.

I’d like to leave it up to you how that would relate when it comes to the shape of a lady. Also feel free in doing something similar when judging the interior of these two concepts.

Yeah, having finished… watching the video, it’s about time we take a look at some extra pictures and settle back towards reality.

It’s nearing production and a launch date, the F32 BMW 4 Series Coupe’s state of camouflage during testing runs should suggest so.

CarPix recently caught the two door version of the F30 3 Series being loaded into a transporter. Unlike previous spyshots, this time most of the non revealing exterior coverage was gone.

The only bits that continued to be covered were the front and rear ends, leaving most of the passenger compartment completely exposed.

Despite this fortunate situation, the interior of the upcoming BMW 4 Series remains a secret. The spy photographers simply couldn’t get close enough.

All is not lost since we do get to see, for the first time ever, some of the details the profile of the new coupe is offered with.

The front wings get some styled vents which slot in between the front wheels and the doors. They may have some marginal cooling effects within them.

Obviously BMW isn’t ready to give us a full brief on the situation, so we’ll have to stick with the hope that this isn’t just a visual representation of the sporty nature the car will come with.

Some excitement is available as the version of the 4 Series they spied is not an M Division or M Performance prepped one.

This is what a typical F32 coupe will look like once you fit the very popular M Sport pack option to this car. Good news like these do get compensated.

The F32 BMW 4 Series Coupe will very likely not shed any more of the camouflage until its scheduled debut at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show.
