After BMW M3 Sedan or BMW M4 Coupe, it was just a matter of time until different aftermarket specialists would turn their attention towards customizing other models from the German based carmaker. It is also the case of this gorgeous F30 BMW 3-Series all wrapped in the Estoril Blue exterior finish, which has received a set on new wheels from the famous VMR Wheels tuning company.

The VMR Wheels tuner have fitted this F30 BMW 3-Series with their VMR 701 Wheels, finished in the Brushed Face Matte Gunmental, which perfectly complements the entire body color. Measuring 20 inches, the VMR 702 Wheels are considered extremely lightweight and efficient, providing improved performance and great stance.

But to achieve this kind of performance and provide the model with a more aggressive body style, the VMR Wheels division have also lowered the F30 3-Series. The result, a hell of a ride and a real beast on the roads.

Under the hood, this F30 BMW 3-Series by VMR Wheels has not received any upgrades, the sports car still developing a good 143 horsepower, for its diesel four-cylinder unit, meaning that it would take it a whole 9 seconds to reach 100 km/h. A lot of tuning divisions all over the world are hunting down different BMWs models, like the M3, the M4 or the company`s other series, such as the 3-Series in our case, in order to create something unique in terms of visuals as well as in terms of torque. But the different upgrade programs could not be complete without adding some cool wheels, which make them perfect from a dynamics and visual stand point.

It is also the case of this gorgeous F30 BMW 3-Series which has received a one-off set of 19-inch MORR spunForged FS 77 wheels, thanks to the aftermarket specialists from MORR Wheels tuning division. The wheels are all wrapped in the Satin Black finish and add up some special flavor to the car`s overall design, along with the Mineral Grey exterior paintjob.

Apart from the MORR Wheels, the F30 BMW 3-Series has also received some body parts upgrades, which make it look more aggressive and appealing, thanks to the new black kidney grille along with some carbon fiber components like the front lip or the mirror caps.

As far as the powertrain goes, there are no signs of any upgrades carried out under the hood. But this wouldn’t be a premiere, as this is not the first F30 BMW 3-Series to receive any upgrades at the body, without fitting any power upgrades. No pricing details have been yet revealed. The BMW 3-Series sports car is ending up in our news again, this time with the model to be seen for the very first time, in Austin Yellow finish.

The F30 BMW 3-Series was caught on shots wearing the Austin Yellow paint, in Leipzig, near the BMW`s factory.

We should mention that this is a rare occasion of seeing a 3-Series in Austin Yellow, as the paintjob was first introduced on the BMW M4 Coupe.

The 318d version seen here is actually the base entry level F30 model, coming as well with the Sport Line edition.

The BMW 318d is powered by a four-cylinder diesel unit, developing a reasonable 143 horsepower, which is less than the almighty M3 and M4 models.

The BMW 318d is thus capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds, which is again double, compared to the performance of the BMW M3 Sedan.

The good news is that the diesel version is coming with a very good fuel consumption, which would make it perfect for a commuter.

The facelifted BMW 3-Series was recently shot in spy photos by the spy photographers from the inautonews.com auto publication.

The Germans from BMW are now working on the 3-Series that was first launched in 2012, bringing in front some significant tweaks.

The 2015 BMW 3-Series caught on camera, comes with some new features at the exterior like full LED headlights, new bumper at the front and changed new air intakes.

The 2015 BMW 3-Series facelift will also come with three-cylinder petrol and diesel units. We are first talking about a 1.5-liter engine to be put on a series of cars in the near future like the new MINI, the 1-Series, the 2-Series, the 3- and the 4-Series.

More than that, the BMW German luxury manufacturer will also enhance the 1.5-liter engine on the 5-Sries or o the i8 Hybrid.
Inside, the BMW 3-Series facelift will also bare some changes inside, like a new driver assistance system and more comfort.

The facelifted BMW 3-Series will be launched perhaps in the second quarter of this year. It may not be a surprised if the car will be seen at the 2015 Paris Auto Show this October.

Japanese from Infiniti have released the first model that will compete with F30 BMW 3 Series. It is Infiniti Q50, the successor to the G37 as well you know and made its debut at the 2013 NAIAS.

Infiniti Q50 is a completely new design and will be offered with two powertrain. The first is a V6 petrol aspirated 3.7 V6 outputting 328hp / 269lb-ft liter which deliveres 330 horsepower and the second is a hybrid consisting of an electric motor and a petrol V6 3.5 liter. Although not officially announced for Europe is expected to be offered a 3 liter diesel, the current range existing in other Infiniti models.

Infiniti Q50 will be a dynamic model oriented towards driving pleasure and wants to rival the current F30 BMW 3 Series in terms of agility and not only. It should be noted as Direct Adaptive Steering systems (among the fastest steering systems in the world), I-Key smart key which will hold all the individual settings of several drivers or InTouch multimedia system with two touch screens that will surpass any other system in terms of connectivity and interaction. Sales will begin in the summer of 2013.

Prior Design launches a new styling kit for the F30 BMW 3 Series, a package which won’t bring any performance tweaks but is capable to improve the appearance of the German sedan.

To begin with, there is a special white finish, new alloy wheels in a dark finish, revised front and rear bumpers and a matte black lip spoiler. Moreover, Prior Design provides a new set if side skirts, a trunk lid spoiler, new rocker panels and a rear diffuser.

Last but not least, the BMW 3 Series benefits from a new high-performance KW suspension, a kit which is able to lower the ground clearance.

In my opinion, this is really a great addition to this styling kit as the lowered ride is quite appropriate for this model and improves the sportiness.

Prior Design prices the new F30 3 Series tuning kit at €1,956 in Germany, a quite good deal as you get quite a lot styling improvements for the buck.

BMW decided to reveal a new series of M Performance Parts which will be available in the United States for the current generations of the 3 and 5 Series.

The F30 BMW 3 Series benefits from several exterior styling tweaks including new front splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler and rocker panel blades. Inside, customers will find carbon fiber brake handle, a new M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel, special floor mats and stainless steel exhaust system.

Last but not least, there will be new 20-inch alloy wheels, a new Brembo brake system and a retuned suspension fitted with improved coil springs lowering the ground clearance by 10mm.

The F10 BMW 5 Series also gets an M Sport Package Retrofit kit, a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser. A new set of alloy wheels fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE050 A tires is available as well.

At the interior, BMW provides stainless steel pedals, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and carbon fiber trim.

The Germans at BMW officially announced that the F30 BMW 3 Series won the Golden Steering Wheel award for the fifth time in a row. This prize is awarded every year since 1975, BMW being able to earn it for the first time in 1978, then in 1991, 1994 and 1998.

This contest is organized by “Auto Bild” and “Bild am Sonntag” while the total numbers of participating cars was 44 with the voting procedure including readers’ vote along with a specific jury.

The jury consists of magazine editors, racing drivers or celebrities. The new BMW 3 Series is not the only vehicle within the range which received an award at this year’s edition of the competition.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe also claimed the third place in the “Convertibles and Coupes” category while the award for the “Golden Advertising Steering Wheel” went to BMW as well for the BMW xDrive marketing campaign.

“I believe the success of the BMW 3 Series lies in the fact that it is the founder of the class of sporty mid-range sedans and perfectly epitomises the character of BMW with its dynamic performance,” said Norbert Reithofer.
