The 7th generation of the BMW 3 Series is made up of enthusiastic look by including BMW G20 sedan and BMW G21 wagon, referred both as compact executive cars. The diesel variants come up with a 3.0 L I6 turbo that can generate 261 hp at 4,000 rpm, and 428 lb-ft torque at 1,600–3,000 rpm.

This could reach up to a speed of 0-62 mph in just 5.5 seconds.

Interior Design:

G20 BMW 3series comes up with fully packed safety features and marvelous safety packs including airbags, driver assistance, and parking features as well. The styling features include larger, flatter BMW kidney grille, which is now framed by a single surround, and equipped with BMW’s Adaptive M suspension, which means selectable damping rates, encompassing Comfort, Sport, and Adaptive modes to look after its elegancy and marvelous looks.

Right now, the electric car segment is officially dominated by three models – the gorgeous BMW i3, the hot-looking Chevy Bolt and the daring Renault ZOE, all cars coming with exceptional performance abilities and impressive mile range.

Below we will find out which one is the most profitable to be bought in 2017. World Auto Evolution has recently released three videos that perfectly describe the cars` main highlights, like performance figures, fuel-efficiency and CO3 emissions.

Starting with the gorgeous BMW i3, the model has dominated the electric market for quite some time now, but it seems that its supremacy is facing hard times. Even so, it still remains one of the most appreciated and valued electric vehicles.

The comparison between the BMW i3 and the Chevy Bolt turns the latter one into a much more appealing and appreciated model, and that because the Bolt comes today with more power and torque – 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, adding as well a total of 310 mile range, achieved via a powerful 50 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Also, the Chevrolet Bolt is less expensive than the BMW i3.

On the other hand, the i3 was also put together along the Renault ZOE, which come with rather similar sizes, with the i3 being more practical when it comes to wider cargo space at the back. However, the ZOE also seems to come with a wider 41 kWh battery than the i3`s 33 kWh, which also translates through more mile range. We are looking here at the ZOE`s 250 miles, compared to the i3`s total of 190 miles.

So, judging by these realistic comparisons, it seems that the BMW i3 falls behind two relatively new electric concepts on the market – the revised Chevy Bolt and the newly arrived Renault ZOE. Push the play buttons for a more in-depth analysis!

We were used to seeing different BMW models taking on other exquisite sports cars from the auto industry, with a thorough specs comparison followed by a drive test to demonstrate their driving capabilities.

However, this time we didn’t test out the BMW M4 with Competition Package against the brutal Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, both models being compared only on paper. The choice for these two seen here is pretty obvious, they are closely related in terms of performance and sheer performance.

To start with the BMW M4 all dressed-up with the Competition Package, the Bavarian model comes with some heave mechanical customizations, like new suspension with the Pack springs and dampers, adding a new rear differential. All these improve the car`s handling and make it more stable on tight corners.

As for the powertrain, the M4 uses the same 3.0-ltier M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder, with the Competition Package bringing more power. We are looking here at 19 horses more, reaching thus an overall of 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to the rear axle via a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT. With the latter transmission, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 3.9 seconds, at a topping of electronically limited 250 km/h.

On the other hand, the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport comes with its own performance goodies, like Magnetic Ride Control, custom springs, anti-roll bars, huge 14.5” carbon ceramic Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers and four-piston calipers front and rear.

All these make the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport quite fast, even if it is placed below the Corvette Z06 or the Z51 Stingray, but faster than the M4 with around 0.3s. Speaking about performance, the Grand Sport comes with a massive 6.2-liter naturally aspirated LT1 V8 engine, with 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic, making the sports car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.

So judging by the official figures, we have the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport in a clear advantage: we`ve got a massive 6.2-liter, greater output and torque and better sprint. Now, all it remains is seeing these powerful cars in a drag race. Hopefully, we will be back with such a daring test!

The car market is full of rivalries and battles between models that are bound to last longer than the Hundred Years’ War.

Reviewers and tests always try to pick a side and sort the conflict out but it doesn’t seem to happen. The situation is so bad that models from the same car maker are fighting themselves as well.

For instance, the revival of the BMW M6 alongside the M5 has begged the question. Which one? Why? Is the difference noticeable?

Jethro Bovingdon, associate editor for Car and Driver decided to post a serious question about this ongoing debate. He also tried to deliver the answer.

After a quick ticking off on paper and in a straight line, the scales were tipped in favor of the F10 M5. It’s value for money factor outweighed the minuscule performance gains of the M6.

However, once the old fashion comparison runs out and the very relevant nowadays track test comes in to question, the differences begin to emerge.

Due to the lower center of gravity, slightly lower weight and ultimately different optimization, the F12 BMW M6 quickly begins to outshine its four door brethren.

The conclusion is one that doesn’t mean to embarrass any of the models. It becomes obvious that the Bavarians have planned out the directions of these cars quite well.

Even if the M6 appears to cost more for not that much less, the difference is there. It’s also earning stripes for being a GT car that gets compared to the GT-R in terms of track performance.
