When I first laid my eyes on the below BMW X5 M dressed in the exquisite Melbourne Red, and wearing the HRE`s new wheels, I thought it was the work of Photoshop here, but it turned out to be a genuine tuning program put together by HRE Performance tuner.

With the fitting of the new wheels which come in perfect contrast with the body wrap, the tuner wanted to make it clear that you don’t mess with the BMW X5 M, adding aggressiveness and advanced aerodynamics at the same time.

The wheels refer to the HRE P200 from the tuner and are sized 22 x 10 and 22 x 12.5 front and rear, respectively. They are finished in Brushed Dark Clear and perfectly complement the SAV`s Melbourne Red, as well as the car`s new carbon fiber rear diffuser and the high-performance Akrapovic exhaust system.

As for the car`s performance under the hood, there seem to be no modifications carried out at this point. Even so, one would settle with the stock engine, which delivers enough power for such a monster SAV.

We are dealing here with a 4.4-liter V8 TwinPower Turbo mill, developing 575 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, meaning that the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 4.0 seconds. The top speed also stands at 250 km/h.

A lot of BMW petrol heads out there consider the BMW X5 M in its previous generation a much better looking and hotter SUV than the current X5 M.

Ever since its introduction on the market in 2009, this old lad here has been the subject of different outstanding customization tuning programs, the latest coming from Wheels Boutique tuner.

We are not dealing here with a complete body styling package, the owner of this exquisite BMW X5 M wanting just some cool wheels that would make it a real eye-catcher.

Thus, technicians over Wheels Boutique have fitted the model with the forged ADV5.2 MV.2 Super Light wheels, courtesy to ADV.1 Wheels tuner, which provide the SUV with better looks and improved stance.

Apart the wheels, there were no body mods carried out, the X5 M already coming with a factory aggressive body styling.

In the engine department, the BWM X5 M is packing a 4.4-liter V8 M mill, with 555 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, achieved between 1,500 rpm – 5,650 rpm. The engine also adds the high-tech twin-scroll twin turbo technology with High Precision Direct Injection.

All these powertrain configurations allow a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. Wheels Boutique has also released a photo gallery with their latest project carried out on the gorgeous BMW X5 M, enjoy and don’t forget that your opinion does count!

Massive, with extraordinary design and impressive power. This is how I would describe the BMW X5 M and X6 M, especially now, since they have already received some new M Performance parts from BMW. Since their launching last year at the 2014 Los Angeles auto Show, everybody new that the X5 M and the X6 M would be killers on the segment, sharing nothing with nobody.

Now, the BMW X5 M and X6 M with the M Performance parts, are more outstanding and more impressive. A lot of M badges are now seen on the radiator and side grilles, on the black frame, or on the carbon fiber side mirror packs. The overall bodies have also received the M stripes.

Inside, the cabins of the BMW X5 M and X6 M have been also tweaked with the M customization, as the models are now featuring carbon fiber interior trim strips, the 8-speed gearbox, illuminated M Performance lettering, the M Performance Alcantara steering wheel, or the stainless pedal covers.

No modifications have been carried out under the hood, the BMW X5 M and X6 M still coming with the same 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo engine, developing 567 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. But the two models did receive something from the M division, which is the 8-speed M Septronic transmission, which makes the models reach the 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, at a top speed, electronically limited, of 250 km/h.

Fostla revealed a complete tuning kit for the E70 BMW X5 M, a package which brings both styling and performance tweaks.

The German company teamed up with PP-Performance in order to provide a boost of around 100 horses to a total output of 650 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. The additional power was obtained through a revised ECU and a new Akrapovic exhaust system.

The 4.4-liter V8 engine normally enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,7 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.

Considering the extra force, we expect Fostla’s BMW X5 M to be faster, maybe with the 0-100 km/h acceleration being possible in 4,5 seconds. In terms of styling, buyers will get new 21-inch alloy wheels, revised bumpers, tinted optical blocks, a glossy black finish for the side mirrors and of course, the anodized matte red wrap.

If you want to improve your car’s looks and make it a tad faster, Fostla put a price of €8,000 on the new tuning package.

As far as tuners go, G-Power is not one that is specifically know for great body kits or luxurious interior design.

But they are known for one thing above all, and taking from the name of the company, it’s easy to guess what that is.

Recently, a creation of theirs was spotted on the streets of Geneva, and the spotter wasted no time in snapping a few quick pictures. As luck would have it, he also decided to upload them so we can all enjoy this nice BMW X5 M. The aesthetic improvements are pretty much the standard, with only a few pieces breaking the norm.

The BMW X5 M prepped by G-Power wears new panels all around, with a front bumper sporting massive air intakes, side skirts, wheel arches, rear diffuser, underbody cover and roof spoiler. Nothing special. Unfortunately, the pictures do not reveal the real treasure with this build. Normally, the BMW X5 M would develop some 555 Hp and 680 Nm of torque, pretty impressive number on their own. Well, after the G-Power tune, the monster now develops 725 Hp and 890 Nm of torque. Yeah.

If the results achieved by the M division of the Germans at BMW are not very convincing, then you can opt for the tuning packages developed by Romeo Ferraris for the current X5 M and X6 M. The Italian specialists decided to release the first details on their latest tuning kits starring the M versions of X5 and X6.

Sadly, the photo gallery is composed just by one photo revealing the Romeo Ferraris BMW X6 M, a model that gets no major aesthetic improvements, the official press release telling us that a variety of exterior colors are available alongside interior tweaks such as a new leather upholstery and Alcantara.

On the other hand, we have a bunch of official information on the performance tweaks which are pretty impressive. Romeo Ferraris claims that the standard output of 555 horsepower raises to 604 horses due to a revised ECU unit.

If this is not enough, the second stage of tuning which comes with a quad-pipe sport exhaust system and other high performance components squeezes 655 horsepower and 865 Nm of torque from the same standard 4.4-liter V8.
