It is not every day we get to see a BMW M135i version taking on the Honda Civic Type R in a drag race.

Both cars are rather equal in terms of performance and aerodynamics, but the FWD and the RWD might make the difference in the fight.

But before watching the video with the drag race between our two contestants, let`s see some of the performance figures that each one comes with.

First off, the BMW M135i is packed with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder inline unit, which produces 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, enough to reach 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. The manual transmission sends the power to the rear axle.

Second, the Honda Civic Type R comes with a 2.0-liter VTEC engine, with 306 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 5.7 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. All the power is sent to the front wheels.

So, we have two cars with rather the same power-to-weight ratios, but with a significant difference concerning the sprint. The M135i comes with a rear-wheel drive configuration, while the Civic Type R features a front-wheel drive one.

BMW Abu Dhabi is currently the carmaker`s largest dealership in the world, with more than 150 exquisite models to be put for a display. The M135i has also joined the rest of the fleet and can now be admired wearing the gorgeous Valencia Orange.

As you probably know, the M135i may not be the fastest model from the 1-Series lineup, but even so, it does impress with an exquisite and aggressive design, which is just enough to be the preferred ride of young ladies who want a less extravagant feel behind the wheel.

This BMW M135i does enchant our fine tastes, sitting quietly in the showroom in its reddish tone which may appear darker or lighter depending on the daylight. Apart the color, there aren`t any mods to be carried out on the model`s body style.

Underneath the skin, this fine lad still uses the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, with 321 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, enough to deliver a 4.9 second sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. The power is sent to the rear axle via a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.

When I first had the chance of seeing this drag race between the BMW M135i and Audi S3 Sedan, my bets were on the S3, but at the end I had realized that size wasn’t all that counted.

Even if the 2015 Audi S3 Sedan is much bigger than the 2015 BMW M135i, both comes with even odds in terms of power and torque, especially since they are equipped with the launch control system. The weight of the cars is also the same, which give them a fair chance in winning the drag race.

The 2015 BMW M135i facelift is packing a four-cylinder unit, with 322 horsepower, which is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, when hooked to the eight-speed automatic transmission. Mind that this one seen here is not the xDrive version.

On the other hand, the 2015 Audi S3 Sedan is using a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit, developing 300 horsepower, when hooked to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, enough to reach 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

The hot BMW M135i version from 1-Series has been recently showcase online, wearing three distinctive body paintjobs, such as the Alpine White, the Estoril Blue as well as the Sapphire Black.

Apart from the exquisite exterior paintjobs, the three M135i have also received the M aerodynamic package, with some important features that bring out their strong personality. We are looking here about wider air intakes at the front apron, all wrapped with a new chrome trim and a few more.

After being officially unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the 1-Series` top of the line M135i is popping up in our news, this time the German based carmaker releasing a set of new pictures with the model in Lisbon, Portugal, where it was taken for some reviews by journalists from all over the world.

The 2015 BMW M135i was thus reviewed in Portugal, with an impressive photo session to be revealed as well, showcasing the fine design cues of the model, complemented by the Valencia Orange exterior finish. As seen in the photos, the new M135i is looking bold with the wider air intakes at the front, the mirror caps now finished in Ferric Grey, while the rear apron is fitted with the the Dark Shadow metallic diffuser.

The list with the cool features continue with the tailpipe embellishers being wrapped in a black chrome, with the entire exhaust system to give the model a special and a more aggressive look.

Under te hood, the 2015 BMW M135i is bragging with a six-cylinder inline unit, which produces an increased in power, meaning 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, enough to reach 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, with the help of a manual transmission. With the eight-speed Sports automatic, the sports car is two tenths of second faster.

Unfortunately, the M135i fans in the United States will not get the chance of seeing it on their highways, as the German based carmaker will not launch the model, nor the entire 1-Series fleet overseas. Instead, the Europeans will get to enjoy it from the base price of 41,900 euros for the manual, while the xDrive version will set you back at 46,050 euros.

BMW is ready to unleash a facelift of the present BMW 1-Series M135i sports car, as the model was recently seen on some pictures while cruising the roads. The pictures were provided by Auto Gespot and are revealing the 2015 BMW M135i wearing a special M Performance body kit, complemented by the Valencia Orange paintjob, from the BMW`s Performance catalogue.

With the BMW`s M Performance Parts, this facelift version of the M135i looks almost unrecognizable, as opposed to the present model. The 2015 M135i has received a lot of standout features, that will definitely make it a special model. The M Performance parts are everywhere, starting with the wider air intakes at the front apron, which gives it a special and sportier look.

The mirror caps outside are also wearing the M brand, the features receiving the Ferric Grey finish, while at the rear, the apron is complemented by a one-off diffuser, also wrapped in the Dark Shadow metallic paint.

Things don’t stop here, as the 2015 BMW 1-Series M135i is also complemented by the black chrome on the twin tailpipes which gives the model a special look.

In terms of drivetrain, the 2015 BMW 1-Series M135i will come with a rear-wheel drive layout, consisting of a six-cylinder inline unit, which outputs 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 2015 M135i xDrive, will also see the daylight, managing to run 4.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, when hooked to the 8-speed Sports automatic.

Prices are also revealed, the 2015 M135i coming from 41,900 euros, while the xDrive version will go higher, around 46,050 euros.

If you have been following the news in the past month, you surely have heard about the tensions in Ukraine and Russia’s involvement.

Ok, we won’t go into details and won’t comment on that, as the conflict doesn’t make the subject of this site.

What we are going to talk about, though, is the awesome BMW gathering that was organized in Russia despite all the talk about war. The event we talk about is the M Festival in Moscow, and just by the sound of its name, you can easily guess what kind of vehicles were present.

Sightings included the BMW M135i, the M235i, as well as the more powerful BMW M3, M4, M5 and M6. As you can imagine, the main attractions were the new BMW M3 and M4, which brought up the rear of the display, and did it in a spectacular way. Manhart has finally released some images with the BMW M135i upgrade in details, after the supercar was first introduced just some months ago at the Essen Motor Show alongside Manhart.

The BMW M135i by Manhart is now detailed inside with a mixture of leather and Alcantara upholstery, contrasting with some yellow seams.

The BMW M135i also sports BMW Performance seats, a carbon decorative stripe and more other tweaks.

Outside, the BMW M135i received some fine touches from Manhart. We are talking about matte foil, side mirror caps from carbon fiber, new diffuser or splitter.

The chassis of the M135i sports a KW Clubsport chassis, a Quaife locking differential, 19-inch alloys that are all equipped with Michelin Super Sport tires.

As for the power under the hood, the M135i by Manhard bears the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine found on the standard version, but with an upgraded exhaust system and new control unit.

The supercar produces a great 405 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque, which is a great difference than the standard 320 ponies and 450 Nm of torque.

Both xDrive and the RWD versions will receive these goodies from Manhart. We will keep you posted later on the price tags involved.

BMW Abu Dhabi released details on a very special model, namely the M135i M Performance Special Edition. This model, as mentioned above, was created by BMW Abu Dhabi and stands out thanks to the exterior tweaks.

To be more specific, the German model got a new Mineral Grey metallic finish, carbon fiber mirrors, new alloy wheels, red accents and a checkered flag pattern.

Power is offered by the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 320 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The BMW M135i M Performance Special Edition gets some improvements inside as well.

The company opted for the M Performance kit which includes new alloy pedals, revised gear shifter and steering wheel.

The two German base manufacturer BMW and Audi have always been competed one against each other, especially when it came to models like the M vs. the S or RS versions.

Now, the two supercars meet up again in a video, showing the BMW M135i competing on the tracks against the Audi S3.

It is not our duty to say which supercar has won the battle on the tracks, it is just up to see it after watching the video, but we can lead in the topic by rendering some important features of both cars, to know exactly what we are dealing with.

First, the BMW M135i supercar, enhances a powerful engine, developing around 320 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, sending the power to the rear wheels and mated at an eight-speed single-clutch automatic. A six-speed manual transmission is also available.

Second, the Audi S3, soon to arrive in the US, hits the track against the M135i with a 2.0-liter turbocharged and four-cylinder, developing a great 280 pound-feet of torque, mated to a Q4 all-wheel drive unit.

All the power is sent to the wheels with the help of a six-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, making the supercar run the 60 miles track in less than 6 seconds.
