The spectacular and powerful enough 2014 BMW M4 Coupe was seen on the web in a new promo, which is a reminder that the sportscar is there and leaves nowhere.

The new commercial with the M4 Coupe is perhaps one of the best promos ever made by BMW, as it highlights the sportscar`s high-performance and aggressive body, when drifting on the sides around a “course built on top of an aircraft carrier”.

To be a reminder, the 2014 BMW M4 Coupe was launched last year, as the follower of the M3 Coupe, being based on the M3 Sedan`s platform.

The 2014 BMW M4 Coupe is powered by the all-ready famous 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo straight six-cylinder, which develops a rough 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

The sportscar is powerful enough to run the whole 0 to 100 km/h length in just 4.1 seconds, at a top speed of 250 km/h, or an upgraded 280 if equipped with the M Driver`s Package.

The all-new BMW M4 Coupe is ready to hit the streets as the first unit just rolled off the assembly line at the company’s factory in Munich.

The German sports car is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque which makes the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in just 4,1 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.

Of course, the company wanted to celebrate this event, therefore, the model was driven by the DTM driver Martin Tomczyk with Hermann Bohrer, BMW Munich Plant Managing Director, in the passenger seat.

“After 23 years M automobiles are built in Munich again, following the first BMW M3 Coupé series ever,” says BMW.

It seems that this first unit also sports that bright yellow finish seen in the official images at launch. Expect to see the new model in showrooms quite soon.

The year 2013 turned out to be one of the greatest years ever for the almighty BMW luxury car manufacturer in New Zealand. This is the reason that company will be providing New Zealand with plenty of cars next year as well.

The BMW is preparing the cars expected for the 2014, models which include the all-electric i3, the convertible version of the 4 Series, the 2 Series and the most performing vehicles – the M3 sedan and M4 Coupe.

As I have written previously, the two M cars will be first displayed at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and BMW will also put on a show the new refined X1 compact SUV and the Z4 roadster.

In New Zealand, in the middle of the next year, the BMW will launch the favorite M3 and M4 models that carry a straight six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that deliver 317kW.

Nina Englert, BMW NZ’s managing director said: “New Zealanders’ appetite for attractive, highly specified and dynamically superior new BMW models has never been stronger.”

Having these said, it`s no wonder that the BMW will still be a killer and the year to come in New Zealand.

Shortly after we took our first look at official images with the new BMW M3 and M4 Coupe, we get an overlook at these model’s specifications.

First up we find out that both the 2014 BMW M3 and M4 which will pack a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine producing 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

Even the M4 Coupe will be 23 kilograms lighter than the M3, both models will do the 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,1 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.

As usual, there will be the M Driver’s Package which will enable a top speed of 280 km/h. If fuel economy was your concern, you have to know that both models will average 34 mpg UK or 8,3 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 194 g/km.

At the exterior, BMW will offer the well-known M package with revised bumpers, side skirts, mirror caps and wheels.

Pricing will start at about €70,000 for the BMW M3 and €2,200 more for its bigger brother.

Today we get an important piece of information on the 2014 BMW M3, a model which is scheduled to be unveiled somewhere next year.

According to BimmerPost, the new model will come with an improved total mass thanks to a series of carbon fiber parts such as the hood and roof.

Moreover, under the hood we will very likely see a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine producing more than 425 horsepower and 501Nm of torque. The same powerplant is rumored to be offered with the upcoming BMW M4 Coupe as well.

Power will be transferred to the wheels thanks to a standard six-speed manual gearbox while the seven-speed DCT transmission will be offered as well.

We find these details quite unsurprising as the debut date for the aforementioned models get closer and closer. Of course, we have no official confirmation from BMW yet but we doubt that this precious information is not based on some official specs.

There are no doubts that the new BMW M4 Coupe is getting closer and closer as the newest spy photos show a prototype which slowly starts to drop the camouflage.

We’ve already seen the concept version few weeks ago, therefore, we have an idea of how the upcoming high-performance German model will look like.

In terms of styling, you should expect a revised front grille, a new hood, a carbon fiber roof, trunk lid spoiler and rear diffuser. Under the bonnet we expect to see a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine producing around 450 horsepower.

It will be linked to a standard six-speed manual transmission while a seven-speed M DCT gearbox is also going to be offered.

The 2014 BMW M4 Coupe is very likely to debut at the upcoming North American International Auto Show, an event which is scheduled to begin in January.
