The German car manufacturer is reconsidering the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe price for the British market, asking for around £29,420 price, for the 4-door coupe, which would be the same as the 2-door version.

The 420i version will be just the entry level variant, powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, developing a reasonable 184 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque.

The petrol version comes with 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, for the price of £32,815. The 435i model, which is the most expensive petrol model, has a starting price of £41,155.

As for the diesel version, we are talking about 3 models available, having a starting price of £30,995, 418d up to £31,795 420d, with a higher price for the 420 xDrive version, for £34,795.

All versions will be using a 2.0-liter diesel engine, developing 143 horsepower and also 184 horsepower, depending on the application.

If you have been mourning for the incredibly popular BMW 3 Series sedan, which is now left behind, a sneak peek to the first images with BMW 4 Series should change your mind and state of spirit.

No one can deny how gorgeous the BMW 4 Series coupe really is. Lower and longer, it gets that sporty, sleek look from a distance. As we are about to discover, there is even more for us under the hood.

The technical specifications of this brand new unit include a 2.0 V4 turbocharged engine carrying 240 HP. Alternatively, a 3.0 V6 turbocharged engine carrying 300 HP should be available.

The changing gear of BMW 4 Series will be either automatic, in eight-speed steps, or manual, in six-speed steps. As for the wheel drive, we get to enjoy both the AWD and the RWD.

Lighter, with sportier features sustained, among many others, by the low gravity center and the rear inspiration from the 6 Series make us accept that the new model deserves to make the transition towards the BMW 4 Series. Do you agree?

We all know by now what the new 4 Series is quite a good looking machine, as there were plenty spy shots and studio pictures to sate most.

And while a picture might be a good start, they just don’t do it for the most avid enthusiasts.

Now, before the official launch of the F32 BMW 4 Series, the German car maker decided to give the fans a little taste of what’s to come. They invited some of them to come and meet in person the new model from BMW. They recorded the reactions the F32 4 Series managed to catch and released them online in a short video.

It’s needles to say that the model did a good first impression on those lucky enough to be present. The exterior looks were, of course, the main attraction. In pure BMW style, the F32 4 Series keeps close to its concept model, and everybody loved that. It also helps differentiate it from it’s 3 Series predecessor, a target BMW aims to achieve throughout its vehicle range.

By now, we have just about had our fill of spy photos of the new model BMW will be launching in the near future. I am talking about the 4 Series, of course.

So BMW released official photos of the vehicle, and we can now bask in all its elegance.

One thing we have to know is that this is not a completely new model, but rather BMW re-organizing its vehicle range to better differentiate them. Thus, the 4 Series is the former 3 Series Coupe, which was one of the better cars out there. So, with such big shoes to fill, how does the 4 Series fare from a first look?

Well, I personally think it is quite an astonishing machine, and, in a traditional BMW fashion, the 4 Series is quite close to the concept version presented earlier this year. While the F32 BMW 4 Series will be longer and wider than its 3 Series predecessor, it will also weigh less thanks to lighter materials.

Under the hood, the 4 Series will come with a 420d 2.0 liter, 184 Hp, diesel engine, a 428i 2.0 liter, 245 Hp gasoline engine and the 435i, the famous N55 engine delivering 306 Hp.

Last month, we got the opportunity to see the first renderings for the upcoming F32 BMW 4 Series, a model which is expected to debut next year at one of the upcoming automotive events.

Today, we face the first official photos for the new model, a vehicle which seems already production ready but for now, it is still considered a concept.

The new BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept comes with a sleek design based on the current 3 Series range and will also benefit from the engine range of that model.

The new 4 Series is meant to be a sporty two-door coupe carrying most of the features found on the BMW 3 Series sedan. There is no doubt that these photos are the official BMW images and this is the concept model in question.

However, considering that these photos surfaced earlier than BMW wanted, we have no official details on it. Expect to see the new F32 BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept at the NAIAS, an auto show which will begin in January.

There is no doubt that the F32 BMW 4 Series is getting closer and closer to us. The German model receives today its first renderings after a series of spy photos which revealed several design characteristics of the new Coupe vehicle.

The man behind these renderings is Jerry Alvarez who managed to imagine how the new BMW model will look based on the recent spy shots.

Under the bonnet of the new BMW 4 Series, a model which will be offered in both Coupe and Convertible variants, we should find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine borrowed from the current F30 3 Series.

Until we get all the important details, we know that BMW could unveil a concept version of the new 4 Series this winter at Detroit.

The Coupe model will enter production next summer, namely in July 2013, while the open-top F33 4 Series should enter the assembly line in November next year.
