BMW`s latest 2-Series lineup will be receiving a new flagship starting this July, in the shape of the BMW M240i M Performance Edition, a limited-run model of just 750 units.

We are dealing here with a unique and special car set to “express the athletic appeal of the compact sport coupe,” the model standing out from the crowd with the hot Alpine White exterior wrap and the plethora of black and carbon fiber M Performance parts.

The car`s personality is easy recognizable at the exterior, the new M240i M Performance Edition coming with the massive 19-inch light alloy wheels, equipped with 225/35 R 19 and 245/30 R19 front and rear, respectively.

The new double-spoke forged wheels are also finished in bicolor Orbit Grey and perfectly complement the rest of the body style – the new air guides, black kidney grille and splitter, adding as well the front section with matte black spoiler lip, carbon fiber mirror caps and carbon fiber side skirts.

Additional features also refer to carbon fiber tailpipe trim with the M logo which increase the car`s aggressive attitude, M Performance badging around the side sill attachments, rear diffuser with the dual exhaust system with carbon fiber accents, and so on.

Performance wise, the BMW 240i M Performance Edition is equipped with a 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, developing 335 horsepower. The power is sent to the wheels via a standard six-speed manual gearbox. However, an eight-speed Steptronic sports transmission is also available, along with the BMW xDrive variant. The powertrain allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.

If you think you have seen the best customizations for the gorgeous BMW M4 then think again, as the model seen below is perhaps the most insane we have ever seen…or at least, I have ever seen. And believe me, I have seen plenty.

Carbonfiber Dynamic`s special project is called the M4R and consists of a complete carbon fiber aero kit and impressive performance under the hood. What makes it special is the plethora of styling bits put together from different well-known tuners, updated mechanics and an exquisite racing livery. Not to mention the amazing wheels.

The BMW M4R stands out from the crowd with the MTC Design bonnet, Varis side skirts and diffuser, as well as the new front bumper and rear wing from no other than 3D Design, the latter one improving the car`s downforce at high speeds. Additionally, the tuner also installed the 56ºNORD carbon roof box and the GT4-like body wrap courtesy of Revowrap.

Mechanically, this gorgeous lad seen here is state-of-the-art, featuring the new Bilstein B16 EDC suspension system, Mov`it braking system with six-piston calipers and 392 mm discs, as well as four-piston and 380 mm discs, front and rear, respectively. The model has also received the clutch from Dodson Motorsport.

In the engine department, this BMW M4R is a real blast, now developing 700 horsepower and 860 Nm of torque, thanks to the new power kit, which comprises two TTE 6XX Turbochargers with 2.3 bar of boost pressure, adding a Burger Motorsport JB4 tune and methanol injection kit. Other features also refer to the Eventuri Carbon/Kevlar Intake as well as the Akrapovic Downpipe which add more engine soundtrack.

The F82 BMW M4 has been recently fitted by the European Auto Source with a custom M Performance Aero Package, the model being also showcased in the Sakhir Orange paintjob.

The BMW F82 M4 with the M Performance aero package is a mixture between carbon fiber parts and aero components, the guys from the EAS division trying to underline the color of the sports car with a new body.

We are talking here about a BMW gloss black kidney grille surrounds, front splitter as well as lower spoiler, mirror caps, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler and the M Performance side blade attachments, all being made of carbon fiber.

The EAS division has also fitted some IND painted side deflectors which complements the overall look of the sports car.

Since the parts are made of carbon fiber, all of them are lighter, smoother, also allowing the use of factory components, which can be easily fitted on the body.

The BMW German based luxury carmaker is preparing to launch the new G12 7-Series, as the model was recently caught on shots while performing some tests on public roads in camouflage.

This would be the second model, after the 2017 BMW 5-Series, to be caught on testing, as the carmaker is preparing its future fleet to compete against rivals like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, in this particular case.

The G12 BMW 7-Series caught in shots in Germany will also come with some sportier features, the model being sleeker and lighter as well.

The G12 BMW 7-Series will come with a platform both suitable for a rear-wheel drive, as well as for the xDrive BMW models, complementing the use of carbon fiber, steel and aluminum materials.

Under the hood, the upcoming BMW 7-Series will come with a wide choice of engines, like a set of six-cylinder, V8 and V12 units, standing alongside the inline-six diesel units.

The good news is that the G12 BMW 7-Series will be officially presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The BMW i3 has been recently subjected to an upgraded kit carried out by the Eve Ryn tuning company, with the electric model to receive some interesting features.

This would be the very first time when a BMW i3 electric would receive an aerodynamics kit, the model sporting a new front bumper with faux large air intakes or flared fenders.

More tweaks include a revised rear diffuser, carbon fiber components and a fresh new set of 20-inch alloy wheels, with a two-tone finish.

The Eve Ryn tuning company have not released any information of launching a customized BMW i3 worldwide and in a mass production.

In terms of performance, no news as well, but we might think that the BMW i3 electric will bear no modifications, still keeping the 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, when running on electric motor.

The electric motor is backed by a 650cc two-cylinder petrol range extender, developing an additional 34 horsepower.

The BMW i3 electric comes with a single-speed transmission, which sends the power to the rear wheels.

The one-off BMW M4 is ending up in our news again, this time coming with a tuned-up package, signed by the famous aftermarket specialists from the Lightweight tuning company.

The upgrade package includes a lot of interesting features, like a front spoiler blade, coming as optional in carbon fiber, adjustable rear wing also made out from carbon, titanium exhaust system with valve control.

Additional tweaks include the 19-inch BBS wheels wrapped with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, measuring 265/35 at the front and 285/35 at the rear.

The large brakes and the Bilstein Clubsport suspension package also helps the car stay on track, providing better performance as well.

Speaking about performance, the BMW M4 by Lightweight is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine under the hood, now producing a tuned-up 520 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.

The standard BMW M4 costs 72,200 euros, while this one tuned-up by Lightweight is offered at the fair price of 89,000 euros.

The high-end BMW M4 Coupe model is ending up in our news again, this time the famous sports car being launched online in a rendering.

The rendering is showcasing the BMW M4 model in a CSL version along with some interesting details, being actually an interpretation of the so called BMW M4 CSL Vision Concept.

The BMW M4 CSL Vision Concept is on a standing process, as the carmaker has not confirmed the existence of such a model in the near future.

Even so, the BMW M4 CSL is said to shed some weight, meaning 170 kg loss compared with the present M4, as it uses carbon fiber and aluminum components for improved performance.

The BMW M4 CSL is also set to feature a sportier suspension system, with the interior to be fitted with lightweight racing seats.

The BMW M4 CSL is also equipped with a new set of alloy wheels, while under the hood, the engine lineup is also believed to come with some interesting upgrades.

The BMW i3 is closely to celebrate one year of existence, with the German based premium carmaker to set the new standards for the future models, in terms of technology and body development.

Rumors state that besides the fact that the carmaker is spending billions of dollars in future investments, the BMW automaker is also planning to develop other materials that would presuming replace the carbon fiber components.

The bold statement has been made by Herbert Eickelkraut, a manager at the ThyssenKrupp German steel company, stating that strong materials like steel might be the future of the BMW vehicles.

Thus, Eichelkraut inflicted the idea that BMW and ThyssenKrupp might join forces to build “an important component of steel”, in the future generation of the high-end BMW i3.

Perhaps it would seem pretty odd to use steel instead of the already technological carbon fiber materials, especially for those particular parts of the car that are mostly exposed to car crashes.

But along with technology, new molding techniques have emerged, meaning that now it is also possible for companies like TyssenKrupp to develop steel components which might be extremely light, but also very durable.

In the near future, the Life Drive Module from the i3, which is made entirely out of aluminum, might be replaced with a high-strength steel, but we will have to wait until 2020, for the second i3 to emerge, after a period of 7 years of production cycle.

The 2016 BMW 7-Series is said to be manufactured from lightweight material, like carbon fiber, setting higher standards on the luxury market, in terms of driving dynamics and lightweight manufacturing.

We are talking about the 2016 BMW 7-Series standing on the company`s new G11/G12 platform, meaning that the luxurious limousine will be extremely light, lighter enough than the standard 7-Series model.

From a visual standpoint, the 2016 BMW 7-Series will also come with a changed body style, meaning a changed trunk lid, with the C-pillar also to sport a “revised version” of the Hofmeister kink.

More than that, the future BMW 7-Series limousine will also tweak the high tech optional laser headlights, while under the hood, the model will come with a wide range of six-cylinder, V8 and V12 units, alongside the inline-six diesels.

The BMW is also planning an even longer wheelbase 7-Series, in the shape of an XXL model, while the standard 7-Series model G11 and F12 will be shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The famous aftermarket specialists from the Alpha-N Performance tuning company has managed to upgrade the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe with their special tuning program.

In case you are the owner of an M3 or M4 and want the special touch of the tuning company, then head to their shop and put the special package.

The BMW M3 and BMW M4 Coupe by Alpha-N Performance have first received a lot of carbon fiber components, such as the rear diffuser, as well as the front and rear spoilers, or the Ohlins sports suspension system.

But the Alpha-N Performance tuning is a specialist in dealing with the performance under the hood, meaning that the two siblings have been also modified in terms of power.

We are talking about the same 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder being upgraded with the EVOX tuning system, which now develops a rough 520 horsepower and impressive 680 Nm of torque, which is 89 horses and 130 Nm of torque more than the standard models.
