The brand-new BMW M4 (Codenamed G82) is here as a 2021 model. It is safe to say that BMW has gone above and beyond to produce a car that is even better than its predecessor. It seems the German company has been listening to enthusiast’s demands and as a result, we are going to see the M4 Coupe with a manual transmission.

The 2021 BMW M4 has the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline 6 engine that produces 473 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque while being mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The power goes to the two wheels in the rear helping the acceleration from 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds. The top speed is governed at 155 mph. 

What’s more, the BMW M4 Competition variant is also on the cards and it will have the same engine but better tuning that will allow the Competition to assimilate 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The power from this engine goes to the rear wheels using the 8speed M Steptronic transmission allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. The top speed for the M4 Competition tops out at 180 mph. 

The M4 gets a few extra tweaks such as an advanced cooling system to keep the temperatures in check while an exhaust flap is also provided allowing the driver to dim down or open up the sound of the screaming 3.0-liter engine.

BMW has also made adjustments in the M4’s performance with an improvement in chassis rigidity, better suspension, bigger and better six caliper brakes as well as several driving modes to extract as much performance as needed from the sports car.

The 2021 BMW M4 will come with the new large-sized kidney grille design that BMW has been working on in the recent past. Along with that, other style improvements have been made to enhance the aerodynamics and looks of the BMW M4.

The 2021 BMW M4 comes out in March 2021 with a price tag of $70,895.

The BMW M4 Coupe is our star again, today the model popping-up on the web with a complete and new AC Schnitzer aero kit and some impressive power boost, the entire installation being carried out by the BMW passionate over BMW Heerman und Rhein tuner.

The technicians have installed the rare Satin Battleship Grey body wrap, which provides the model with an exquisite feel and look, along with other standout body parts courtesy of AC Schnitzer.

As most of the present newly applied aero kits, this one also comes with a lot of carbon fiber parts, visible on the car`s rear diffuser, front air splitters, or side mirror covers. Other features also refer to the M Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler and kidney grilles.

There is no styling upgrade without a set of new wheels, this smashing BMW M4 also looking refresh with the new 20-inch Type V Anthracite alloy wheels, perfectly complementing the Akrapovic`s exhaust system at the rear carbon fiber tips.

The presence of the Akrapovic exhaust system also indicates some new figures under the hood. This means that the stock 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo straight-six inline engine has been also upgraded from the stock 431 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque to 510 horsepower and 645 Nm of torque. We don’t have the performance figures, but we should expect less than the stock 4.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

The 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is the company`s latest hot car, the model being a constant hit from the start with its extraordinary sporty design and impressive performance figures under the hood. More than that, some claimed that it is even higher-performance than the M3 and M4 stars.

For that matter, journalists from Motor Trend have taken the M2 and the M4 on the track for some fine performance measuring. Both of them are highlighted in the video below, tackling the tight corners and accelerating on straight lines. But we won`t spoil the surprise.

On the track, some might bet on the M4 as it is bigger and packs more power and torque than the M2 Coupe, while others might favor the latter for being smaller and lighter, which would give it a clear advantage from the start.

To better understand the situation, let`s take a closer look at both models. Even if the M2 comes with a 1,570 kg kerb weight, the coupe is just 20 kg lighter than the BMW M4. Also, motivation from the same M2 Coupe comes from a 3.0-liter straight flat-six, with 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 4.5 seconds with the manual, and 4.3 seconds with the DCT.

On the other hand, the bigger M4 Coupe sports a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo mill, with 425 horsepower and higher 550 Nm of torque, enough to reach 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds with the manual and 4.1 seconds with the DCT gearbox. This means that the M4 is just 0.2 seconds faster than the M2.

Another criteria that we might take into account when choosing between the two models, is the price tags. The M2 Coupe is priced at $51,700 in the USA, while the M4 Coupe costs $65,700, meaning an additional $14,000. Given the slight performance figures between them, I might incline that an M2 Coupe would be more preferred than the M4. Even so, the latter has the upper hand of being considered one of the fastest cars in the coupe segment.

A couple of days ago, the M`s chief Frank van Meel, confirmed that the future BMW M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible would be equipped with the company`s special Competition Package.

Now, the news are back and we have the prices and the details for the Competition Package, which can be ordered not only for the new cars, but also for the existing ones.

In case you own one of the aforementioned models or want to buy a new one, you should then now that the Competition Package for the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe costs $5,500, while for the M4 Convertible, the price is set at $5,500.

For that money, you will get plenty of visual tweaks and fine goodies inside, as well as a software upgrade under the hood.

Thus, the BMW M3 or BMW M4 will look distinctive with the high-gloss Shadow Line exterior with gloss black kidney grille, adding the M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes, complemented by the 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels with high-performance rubbers.

Inside, all models will come with limited changes, like the M sports seats or the M-striped seat belts.

From a mechanical point of view, the Competition Package features the Adaptive M Suspension with fresh springs, dampers, or anti-roll bars. The safety features refer to the Active M Differential, new Dynamic Stability Control System, or the three different driving models, like Comfort, Sport and Sport+.

As already previewed, the Competition Pack adds up around 20 horsepower under the hood as well, the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine now churning out 450 horsepower, with a 0.1 seconds quicker response from 0 to 100 km/h.

BMW has recently introduced the all-new 2016 BMW M2 Coupe M Performance model at the 2015 SEMA Show and it was just a matter of time until we would see the BMW M4 wearing the same M signature.

The BMW M4 with M Performance Parts is packing the same exclusive exterior and interior package as its little sibling, the M2 Coupe. The exterior of the car is adorned with a lot of carbon fiber composites, all courtesy to the carmaker`s M division.

At a closer look, we can depict the new front fascia with carbon fiber inserts, front grille with a glossy black accent, the PUR side sills or the carbon fiber mirror caps.

Other features include the M Performance motor racing stripes which provide the model with a more aggressive and sporty look, the carbon fiber diffuser and spoiler at the rear end, the new exhaust system with the stainless duct, titanium rear silencer and a few more.

The cabin of the BMW M4 has been also fitted with the M Performance steering Wheel, wrapped with the Alcantara and carbon fiber trim. And just like BMW M2 Coupe, the M4 also received the carbon fiber gear selector with the M twin-clutch transmission, carbon fiber on the door handles and handbrake, stainless steel pedal covers and much more.

Both the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe and BMW M4 with M Performance Parts will be available on the market in the second half of 2016.

BMW is celebrating 25 years of existence on the market with the M Individual division and as a tribute paid to all the customized BMW models wearing the M logo, the carmaker is planning a special edition of the one-off BMW M4 Coupe.

The BMW M4 Coupe`s project starts with the rare and bold Macao Blue metallic body paint, coming in a combination with the blacked-out M front splitter. Moreover, the sports car has also received the carbon roof with the M stripes.

Inside, the cabin of this Macao Blue BMW M4 Coupe is also special, the interior being tweaked with a lot of high-end materials, like the BMW Individual Merion upholstery, with black and Silverstone trims, as well as the Silverstone stitching and the 25th anniversary logos on the headrests.

Other one-off features wearing the M logos refer to the center console and the hand brake lever, while the Macao Blue accents complement the overall interior design. The guys from The Hooniverse have recently performed the latest video review with the outstanding and one-of-a-kind BMW M4 Coupe. The reason is pretty simple: they wanted to see for themselves how the gorgeous M4 Coupe moves on the track and how good it is in tight corners.

Saying this, I could not helpe stating what the guys from The Hooniverse praised the M4, stating that “The Bavarian Beauty is a dancing queen”. But right now, as it used to happen before, words are a waste of time and you`d better push the play button and enjoy the ride.

But I couldn`t help it let you go without praising myself this genuine German machinery. First off, ever since it was put off the production line along with its little sibling the M3 Sedan, back in 2014, the BMW M4 Coupe has been the subject of a lot of test drives, renderings, and most importantly, it attracted the attention of hundreds of aftermarket shops which saw the potential it had, and transformed it into a real state-of-the-art machinery on wheels.

Powered by the already legendary 3.0-liter twin turbo six-cylinder inline engine, the BMW M4 is capable of producing 430 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, hooked to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed M-DCT transmission. You might say that this is not impressive, but try to see the figures from 0 to 100 km/h: just 4.1 seconds, and that would make it really special. The BMW M4 Coupe unveiled last year has made quite an impression thanks to its exquisite language lines and impressive powertrain, being showcased in a lot of drag or sprint races. And today, the BMW M4 Coupe is the star of another video, which puts the German based car next to its challenger, the Lexus RC F, in a sprint race.

The BMW M4 Coupe DTM Chaompion Edition has been seen resting quietly in a parking lot, which might be considered a very rare thing. And this particular model can be easily distinguished since it bears the special features of the DTM championship, as a celebration to Marco Wittmann`s victory in DTM.
