The BMW M4 Coupe unveiled last year has made quite an impression thanks to its exquisite language lines and impressive powertrain, being showcased in a lot of drag or sprint races. And today, the BMW M4 Coupe is the star of another video, which puts the German based car next to its challenger, the Lexus RC F, in a sprint race.
Surely, we are not going to reveal which sports car comes with the most impressive acceleration, even if some of you might think that the BMW M4 Coupe must be the absolute winner. First off, the BMW M4 Coupe is packing Sedan the famous 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder, also seen on its younger sibling, the BMW M3 Sedan.The unit develops 421 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, making the car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, at a top speed of 280 km/h, which could be raised up to 280 km/h if tweaked with the M Driver`s Package.
On the other hand, the Lexus RC F is packing a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 unit, developing 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque, being sent to the rear wheels, hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The sports car reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, at a topping of 270 km/h. And as opposed to the BMW M4`s 1,572 kg, this particular model stands at 1,765 kg.
