There is definitely a love affair between BMW and well-known AC Schnitzer tuning company, the latter one customizing hundreds of models from the German carmaker with standout aero and power kits.

The tuner`s latest project involves the above BMW M235i, the top of the line version from the 2-Series receiving the so called ACL2 kit, which involves the fitting of some new mechanics and power boost under the hood.

The BMW M235i ACL2 by AC Schnitzer was also presented at a Cars and Coffee event in Dusseldorf, Germany, the model receiving a big round of applause from the crowd.

Starting with the car`s exterior look, the technicians from AC Schnitzer have fitted their ACL2 model with a wide body kit, consisting of unique body features, like wide fenders, custom front and rear bumpers with new elements, all complemented with the rear`s massive and standout wing, which makes it more aggressive.

The video released by AC Schnitzer is also highlighting the car`s extremely wild engine growl, the model receiving a custom exhaust system with new pipes, along with some new mechanics. This involves a new limited slip differential with Drezler diff lock, ECU remapping and a few more.

The BMW M235i ACL2 comes with the stock S55 3.0-liter engine, which is now producing an impressive 570 horsepower. Unfortunately, the tuner has not revealed the performance figures for this tuned-up version seen here.

Should you decide to customize your own BMW M235i model with lots of mechanics from AC Schnitzer, then you must know that the entire mods come with the right price, and that is a whopping 150,000 euros. At least this is the pricing tag for the tuner`s project. Even so, the model is not for sale and will be displayed in the tuner`s showroom.

The F22 BMW 228i Coupe is the perfect BMW car to be customized, since it comes with a small chassis and very convenient body components to be fitted. And aftermarket specialists like Turner Motorsport have come up with their own upgrade programs. But this time, the only thing that this 228i Coupe has received is the power increase under the hood, apart the slight body changes.

The F22 BMW 228i Coupe has been thus fitted with the N20 four-cylinder 2.0 turbo engine, with 240 horsepower and 345 Nm of torque, enough to send the sports car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds. But the mods involved in the power boost include the Valvetronic and Double Vanos configurations, or the BMW`s precision direct injection.

The F22 BMW 228i Coupe is also agile thanks to its styling dimensions, even if it is 200 lbs heavier than the 3-Series model. The comparison with the 3-Series is pretty obvious, both models coming with a 105.9-inch wheelbase.

Thus, the 228i Coupe is also coming with a 50/50 weight distribution, which provides more grip, greater stance as well as high-precision handling and steering.

All these are also possible thanks to the modified front and rear suspensions, the first one receiving the double pivot spring strut. No price tags have been announced for this project car.

The famous European Auto Source tuning company is continuously improving its handicraft in terms of tuning programs, by constantly upgrading different BMWs. Now, the EAS has turned its head to the BMW M235i, the top of the line model of the 2-Series.

At a first glimpse, we might be looking here at a futuristic model, with the now revised body, resembling an evil machine from the Star Wars series. A Darth Vader aggressive body style look might be the best definition, thanks to the beefed body components, the M brakes and the sleek design.

We are talking indeed about a BMW M235i being all wrapped with the Black Sapphire exterior finish, complemented by the one-off aftermarket components, like the H&R Sport Lowering Springs, the new Macht Schnell spacers, added after lowering the sports car, the one-off black wheels, carbon fiber mirror caps, the black kidney grilles and a few more.

Upgrades don’t stop here, as the BMW 2-Series by EAS has been also fitted with some sporty features inside the cabin, like the Coral Red trim, complemented by some M Performance carbon fiber or the Alcantara leather.

Unfortunately, no performance upgrades have been carried out under the hood, as the BMW 2-Series M235i is still keeping the 3.0-liter M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder, with 320 horsepower, which makes the sports car capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

Slowly but surely, European Auto Source, one of the best tuning division in customizing all kind of BMWs, is making its way into the big league, as it has now managed to get the attention of everybody out there who are beginning to understand the tuning business, especially when being carried out on BMWs.

The latest creation of the European Auto Source is the BMW 2-Series M235i wearing the gorgeous Alpine White paintjob, which has recently received some slight changes, amongst which one of the most important, the H&R Lowering Springs. Thus, the sports car is now coming with more stance and balance.

Apart from the H&R Lowering Springs, the BMW M235i has been also customized with some small design touches, like the BMW M Performance Gloss Black Kidney Grille.

No performance changes have been announced so far, but we all know that the present BMW 2-Series M235i is taking its power from a 3.0-liter BMW M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder, outputting a great 320 horsepower.

The engine is powerful enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. The price for the stock BMW M235i is set up at a rough $43,100, in the United States.

The BMW German based carmaker has recently introduced the BMW 2-Series Convertible at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, the one-off sports car wearing the M Performance badges on the body style, cabin as well as under the hood.

Perhaps it might seem a little odd launching a model under the M Performance division, but this is actually a very good strategy for the carmaker to offer a fully customized vehicle for drivers who don`t have enough money to purchase an M model.

The BMW 2-Series Convertible is outstanding and also gorgeous, being now sportier and more dynamic, due to the upgrades carried out at the body. I am talking here about the side skirts, or the skirt decals which wear the M Performance marks.

The entire body is also complemented by the revised front grille or the carbon exterior mirror caps, while the 19-inch light-alloy wheels, give the model a special touch.

Movin inside, the cabin of the BMW 2-Series Convertible with M Performance has also received carbon fiber trims, with Alcantara leather on the steering wheel, the M Performance key case, and much more.

Under the hood, the powertrain could not have been left aside, as the M Performance Power Kit has increased the stock 190 horsepower to 204 horsepower.

The German tuning specialists AC Schnitzer released details and photos on their newest tuning kit for the BMW 2-Series Coupe.

They offer both styling and performance tweaks, the latter being available for more versions in the range. To begin with, the BMW 218d gets a power boost to 171 horses while the 220d delivers 218 horsepower.

The BMW 225d also benefits from a bump to a total of 258 horsepower. Finally, the range-topping BMW M235i gains a retuned 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit producing 380 horsepower. With such performance figures, the 0-100 km/h sprint will be possible in less than 5 seconds.

At the exterior, AC Schnitzer provides new 18- to 20-inch alloy wheels, new front splitter, rear diffuser and mirror caps.

These parts are made of carbon fiber so you don’t have to be worried about any extra weight. A sports exhaust system and a new spoiler make their way into the rear end while a sports suspension offers a reduced ground clearance (40mm).
