While BMW has the all-new 7-Series with its entire impressive lineup, the German carmaker`s hardcore division has created the perfect ride, which is no other than the B7, recently reviewed by the folks from motor1.com auto magazine.

While Alpina is busy testing out the upcoming B5, another exceptional hardcore ride with lots of styling elements and powertrain borrowed from the B7, the latter one get plenty of appreciation from the media worldwide.

In fact, it is so appreciated that a lot of journalists do agree that people out there really don’t need an M7 model from the 7-Series, even if the most luxurious model within the Series lineup comes with the M760i – according to the media, this is not a genuine M7.

The 2018 Alpina B7 comes with plenty of attributes that make an exceptional ride. It comes with an extremely aggressive body styling, highlighted by the luxurious design lines, tuned up chassis or the standout 20-inch alloy wheels, while the interior gets plenty of attention from the company.

The cabin looks indeed amazing with the high-end materials, like brown leather, intricate stitching and contrast piping, adding LED lighting integrated into the sunroof, digital gauge cluster as well as other sporty features.

But perhaps the car`s main highlight is found under the hood, the Alpina B7 showing off its driving capabilities thanks to the massive and powerful 4.4-liter bi-turbocharged V8 engine, outputting 600 horsepower and 590 lb ft of torque, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds than the 750i xDrive, with 0.7 seconds faster.

All these ingredients make it the perfect candidate against other hardcore models, like the new Audi S8 Plus, Jaguar XJR or Mercedes-AMG S63.

We do our best to keep tabs on BMW’s progress and we cover just about everything they do. By the looks of things, so does specialist tuner Alpina.

Having given the F01 BMW 7 Series facelift a proper going over they’ve decided it’s worthy of their approval. That’s why they updated their B7.

The Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo was always a great car, the F01 BMW 7 Series is a great car, the new facelift is well thought out, can you imagine the result?

It retains the same basic structure, the same suspension underpinnings, the same interior and the same prestigious presence.

Alpina did fit the new tweaks of the BMW 7 Series fancy headlights and while they did stick with the 4.4 liter TwinPower turbocharged V8 engine it’s a little different now.

The final output was raised by some 40 horsepower and 22 lb-ft of torque bringing the grand total to 540 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque.

That’s reasonably impressive since while it’s a few ponies short of the 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 BMW themselves fit in the 760 Li.

With so much power available it’s no wonder that the facelifted Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo can go from 0 to 62 in just 4.3 seconds and that it can hit a top speed of 194 mph.

More importantly, there’s a lot of extra equipment that’s going to be fitted as standard now. The list includes auto start-stop, BMW’s Active protection system and the ceramic coated secondary controls.

All of these make for nice changes being the sort of “going the extra mile” attention to detail that makes Alpina stand out as a tuner.

I think that for most BMW fans and even for those people that are not fans, they just like this auto maker, this is great news. I don’t remember the last time when we talked about a BMW Alpina but as you can see in the title, now it is about to come another car from BMW named 2011 BMW Alpina B7 Sedan.

This 2011 BMW Alpina B7 Sedan should have a 500 horsepower engine (the entry level) 4.4 liter V8 which is pretty powerful but at the same time I was waiting for such a big power from this 2011 BMW Alpina B7 Sedan.

Also, the design of this 2011 BMW Alpina B7 Sedan looks to have more unique elements comparing it to the newest 5 series or 3 series or any other new car. Talking again about power, you should know that it can reach 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds.

BMW Alpina B7 has a 0-60mph acceleration of 4,7s and the B7’s top speed is electronically limited to 173mph.
