
2018 Alpina B7 IS a really Impressive Ride
While BMW has the all-new 7-Series with its entire impressive lineup, the German carmaker`s hardcore division has created the perfect ride, which is no other than the B7, recently reviewed by the folks from motor1.com auto magazine.
While Alpina is busy testing out the upcoming B5, another exceptional hardcore ride with lots of styling elements and powertrain borrowed from the B7, the latter one get plenty of appreciation from the media worldwide.
In fact, it is so appreciated that a lot of journalists do agree that people out there really don’t need an M7 model from the 7-Series, even if the most luxurious model within the Series lineup comes with the M760i – according to the media, this is not a genuine M7.
The 2018 Alpina B7 comes with plenty of attributes that make an exceptional ride. It comes with an extremely aggressive body styling, highlighted by the luxurious design lines, tuned up chassis or the standout 20-inch alloy wheels, while the interior gets plenty of attention from the company.
The cabin looks indeed amazing with the high-end materials, like brown leather, intricate stitching and contrast piping, adding LED lighting integrated into the sunroof, digital gauge cluster as well as other sporty features.
But perhaps the car`s main highlight is found under the hood, the Alpina B7 showing off its driving capabilities thanks to the massive and powerful 4.4-liter bi-turbocharged V8 engine, outputting 600 horsepower and 590 lb ft of torque, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds than the 750i xDrive, with 0.7 seconds faster.
All these ingredients make it the perfect candidate against other hardcore models, like the new Audi S8 Plus, Jaguar XJR or Mercedes-AMG S63.
