The BMW X4 is the carmaker`s newly unveiled crossover, based on the X3 and being a little bit smaller than the X6, which makes it perfect to race against the Porsche Macan SUV.

The test drive with the BMW X4 was meant to define the true characteristics of the model, in terms of interior design, drivetrain and performance.

Since the exterior takes its features from both the X3 and the X6 versions, the inside of the model bears the signature of the German carmaker, also seen on all other models.

We are talking about quality materials on the comfortable seats, with the rear space generous enough to make room for three persons, while the technology also complements the center console.

On the road, the BMW X4 handles pretty good for an all-wheel drive system, especially in tight corners, when forcing the SAV from one sliding to another.

The performance of the X4 model is also highlighted by the 3.0-liter diesel six-cylinder inline unit under the hood, which develops 259 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque, available at 1,500 rpm.

The BMW German luxury automaker has recently declared in an official press release that the M235i xDrive Coupe will becoming available for production line this summer.

Another good news for the BMW`s fans is that the M235i xDrive Coupe will be available with an all-wheel drive system, apart from the present rear-wheel drive transmission, hitting its dealers this summer.

The BMW M235i xDrive Coupe will have an improve aerodynamics, as the curb weight will be increased to 1,525 kg, which will also prove its fuel-efficiency to 7.8-liter every 100 km.

Under the hood, the BMW M235i xDrive Coupe will sport the familiar 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder unit, developing a good 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.

The engine is hooked to an 8-speed sport transmission Steptronic, which will throttle the supercar from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

The BMW M235i xDrive Coupe will have an electronically limited speed at 250 km/h. As for the prices involved, no details are yet revealed.

The BMW German luxury automaker is planning to launch a new roadster, called Z2 in 2016, which will come with a front-wheel drive system.

BMW is already working on the entry-level Z2 Roadster and it will be that particular hot car that will complete the BMW`s model lineup, coming with affordable prices.

Since the car is rumored for some time now, the BMW Z2 Roadster will share the same front-wheel drive system also used on the 2014 MINI Cooper, becoming the second model with a front-wheel after the 2-Series Active Tourer.

More than that, it is also rumored that the future BMW Z2 Roadster will be also coming with an all-wheel drive system.
The BMW Z2 Roadster is said to compete against famous vehicles like the Mazda MX-5.

As for the engine lineup, we don’t know for sure what will the Z2 Roadster sport, but reports state that we might be talking about some small 3- and 4-cylinder petrol burners.

More details about the upcoming BMW Z2 Roadster will be offered at the time when the sports car will be officially announced.

The long-awaited BMW 2-Series Cabrio might hit the dealership sooner than expected since it was caught on camera in some light camouflage by photographers from Inautonews publication.

It was definitely a logical step to follow the footsteps of the Coupe version, when photos with the 2-Series Cabrio first appeared, and now spied shots reveal the same features it will sport, taken from its Coupe sibling.

As seen in the shots, the BMW 2-Series Cabrio will come with some slight modifications around the camouflaged areas, such as at the front fascia, at the rear end, or around the taillights and the headlights.

As far as the interior concerns, we might be talking about the same one found on the 2-Series Coupe.

Don’t expect that the engine lineup or the technologies and performances of the 2-Series Cabrio to be different than the ones fond on the Coupe.

Why spoil something that has already proven its efficiency? Thus, we might be talking about four-cylinder units like the 2.0-liter gasoline, developing 150 horsepower, 177 horses and also 218 ponies.

More than that, the BMW 2-Series Cabrio will also come equipped with a turbocharged diesel unit that outputs 214 horsepower.

Expect a six-speed manual transmission with an optional eight-speed automatic system on all units, along with the all-wheel drive system seen on the xDrive.
