There are some reports leaked these days stating that the next-gen BMW 5-Series might be coming with a high-performance quad-turbocharged unit.

The reports were launched by the German magazine Autobild, saying that the present N57S unit fitted on the M550d version might have great chances of being replaced with a quad-turbocharged unit.

If that happens, we might be looking here at 408 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, for the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine to receive this benevolent upgrade.

More than that, there are also rumors stating that the upcoming G30 BMW 5-Series model will be hitting the market in 2016, with the second-generation of the Gran Turismo to also debut in spring, the same year, while the Touring will reach dealerships in the autumn.

All three models will be standing on the same 35up high-tech platform, but each of them will be run through a rigorous weight lost program, in order to raise their power.

Along with the high-performance, we should also expect a lot of technology goodies for the G30 BMW 5-Series, like automated lane changing with overtaking or self-lateral parking.

The BMW Germans based luxury automaker has willingly launched new shots with the X4 model which has been publicly unveiled a few months ago, at the 2014 New York Auto Show.

The fresh BMW X4 will hit its dealerships in Germany this summer, with prices starting at 45,600 Euro, while in the US the X4 will come available from 45,625 USD.

The BMW X4 will be thus more expensive than the X3 model, even if it shares the same platform, coming though with sportier look.

Even if the interior resembles somehow with the one found on the X3, the BMW X4`s cabin has a lowered roofline, providing its rear passengers with a lower room.

At the front, the driver and the write passenger also sit on a lowered 20 mm on the X4, while on the X3, the space is also wider and provides more space for the legs.

But these minor inconveniences doesn’t affect the overall image of the X4, especially since we are talking about the engine lineup under the hood.

Thus, we are referring to three petrol burners and three diesels, available for the model in Europe, with power ranging between 181 horsepower and higher 309 horsepower.

Also, the BMW X4`s top of the line xDrive35i delivers a great output of 302 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, for its 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, while the diesel sports a higher 309 HP and 630 Nm of torque.

The BMW German based luxury automaker has finally launched the online configurator for the 4-Series Gran Coupe model.

The BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe was launched in February and one month later the vehicle was worldwide displayed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Now, the BMW carmaker has launched the online configurator in the US, with all the details you might want to find about the 4-Series Gran Coupe.

Thus, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe is based on the 3-Series model, being a little bit smaller than the 6-Series Gran Coupe, with 4,638 mm long, 1,825 mm wide and riding on 2,810 mm wheelbase.

More than that, the online configurator also gives you a closer glimpse at the capacity of the 4-Series, as it has a trunk space of 480 liters, which is 35 liters more than the two-door sibling, being able to have a 1,300 liter increase, with the rear seats being folded.

Under the hood, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe comes with a 2.0-liter unit, developing 240 horses and 345 Nm of torque, for the 428i Gran Coupe.

The BMW 435i Gran Coupe comes with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, developing 300 horsepower and 406 Nm of torque.
