Shortly after revealing the all-new BMW M4 Convertible, the German company released official U.S. pricing for the new model.

The high-performance open-top model is going to start at $73,425 but can certainly go higher if you start adding extra features.

As you probably know, the German car benefits from a retractable hard top which can be operated at speeds up to 18 km/h. Power is offered by a serious 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

Paired with a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in just 4,2 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. The all-new BMW M4 Convertible will make its debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show.

“The BMW M4 Convertible replicates the performances of the BMW M4 Coupe and BMW M3 Sedan, but emphasizes its stylish and distinctive appearance through its retractable hardtop that places open-top driving at center stage,” says the company.

The BMW`s new member M4 convertible was caught on camera wearing some camouflage on the roads, after the German manufacturer making the M4`s debut as a coupe recently.

Even if little is known about when the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible will be arriving on showrooms, the car is set to come with some specs and details.

First, the 2015 M4 Convertible is likely to come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine taken from the M4 Coupe and the M4 Sedan, developing a good 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

The M4 Convertible comes thus with some significant increase in the peak torque than its M3 Convertible flagship, even if the amount of pure horses is insignificant.

Then, the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible will bear a rear-wheel unit, mated at a six-speed manual transmission, or an optional seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch, with the car expecting to run the 100 km/h range in around 4 seconds.

The M4 Convertible has a top speed electronically limited at 155 mph. Apart from the great power it outputs, the car is also enhanced with some M goodies like adjustable stability or traction control.

More than that, the car handles fantastically well, due to its adjustable electronic power steering and adjustable suspension.

BMW is on a continuous roll out with its models being spied in shots, as it is also the case of the fresh-new M4 Cabrio being put to some tests on the tracks.

These spy shots indicate that the BMW M4 Cabrio is ready to be unveiled at the 2014 New York Auto Show, due next month, with the model in question being put to some tests first.

The shots reveal the supercar partially wrapped in camouflage, indicating some minor tweaks along with that.

The fresh new BMW M4 Cabrio will have the same 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine as its siblings M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, outputting a total of 431 horsepower (317kW) and a great torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft).

As for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, the M4 Cabrio will have similar performance as the M4 Coupe, meaning a 4.1 second sprint.

For now, there are no other details concerning the tweaks the car brings or the changes inside the M4 Cabrio. More will be revealed in April with the occasion of the New York Auto Show.

The prototype of the M4 Convertible was spotted in camouflage, which is a true indication that the vehicle is soon to be launched on the market.

As some sources state, just like the M4 and its flagship M3 Sedan, the M4 Convertible would sport the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine, developing 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

The M4 Convertible would have thus a slight increase in power than the M3 Convertible, but with a huge step in terms of torque, out-measuring the M3 from 295 to 406 lb-ft.

The M4 Convertible would also feature a rear-wheel drive with a classic six-speed manual or the more performed seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission. We might expect the car hit the 60 mph in 4.0 seconds.

With a limited speed of 155 mph, being electronically set, the M4 convertible also enjoys the M goodies, like adjustable stability, traction control, adjustable electronic power steering and suspension.

The BMW M4 Convertible features the same retractable hard-top as the 4-Series Convertible, the car being wider and lighter, as it uses lightweight material like aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
