As we announced several times in our articles, BMW scheduled the world premiere of the new BMW M5 for the Frankfurt Motor Show which takes places these days. It is true that we already know almost all about the high-performance M version of the new 5 Series generation but we can’t ignore its premiere in Germany. Under the bonnet, the new BMW M5, codenamed F10, packs a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine which is also available for the BMW X5 M and X6 M.

The total output of the new M5 is rated at 560 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm, enough resources for a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

Impressive fuel efficiency is also available thanks to BMW’s fuel-saving technologies which improve the figures by around 30%. This means that the 560HP V8 engine will return an average fuel consumption of only 9,9 liters/100 km, decent figures for a high-performance model.

An eight-speed M dual-clutch transmission directs the power to the rear wheels while the M Driver’s Package will get rid of the 250 km/h limitation and will provide a top speed of 305 km/h.

The M version of the new 5 Series F10 is caught once again in action while testing. The model has been caught many times in spy photos and the thinner and thinner camouflage layer makes us thinks that the revealing date is close. However, not that close to be ready for the 2011 NAIAS, the Germans announcing three models to debut at the American auto show, but not the new BMW M5 F10.

The prototype in question reveals all the components typical for a model bearing the M badge. However we note the new bigger ten-spoke alloy wheels together with the bigger brake callipers.

Under the bonnet we face an improved version of the 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine found on the new X5 M, an engine able to develop around 560 horsepower or more. We expect to see the new BMW M5 F10 at the Geneva Motor Show which will open its gates in March, next year.

Anyway, as you should know, this 2011 BMW M5 is going to have a 4.4 liter V8 engine which is also able to develop up to 578 horsepower and also a maximum torque of 531 lb-ft and is also able to reach the 100 kilometers per hour speed in just 4.4 seconds.

So far, this is all I know about this 2011 BMW M5 but I think it’s enough to make an idea about how cool is going to be this 2011 BMW M5 just by reading the details and also watching the spy photos and videos.

I don’t know if you noticed yet but I’m trying to realize what’s the replace car of the 2010 BMW 5 Series talking about the wanting level but I think that this time are more than one must wanted car and this 2011 BMW M5 is one of them as you see.

This time we have some more photos with the 2011 BMW M5 and if you want, you can call these official photos because they are not spy shots, they are took from a magazine which usually is the place where the photos appear official first but this time we have a lot of other photos with the 2011 BMW M5.

To tell you few things about the motorization of this new 2011 BMW M5, it comes with a 4.4 liter V8 bi-turbo 578 horsepower that it can reach 62 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds and it also has a limited top speed of 155 miles per hour.

The new BMW 5 Series became now something like a superstar because all the spy photographers are watching this new car closely. I almost got sick of how many spy photos and also videos with the new BMW 5 Series are on the internet but I have to talk about them to you and also to show them to you.

Now, what you see in these photos is not the simple 2011 BMW 5 Series; as the title says, this is 2011 BMW 5 Series Sedan. Well, talking about the design of the car, I prefer much more the normal 2011 BMW 5 Series. Why? Because this car was built to look like BMW X6 but the Sedan version, does not.
