Some interesting rumors have appeared, presumably from the mouth of Dr Klaus Draeger himself, the BMW chief of product development. You see, rumor has it that the Paris Motor Show will be hosting the new generation of the BMW 6 Series. And the icing on the cake is that the 6 Series may be having a companion there…

Apart from the standard BMW 6 Series, a Shooting Brake version based on it could also appear at the Paris Motor Show hosted in October. The BMW brass is not yet convinced whether this version will become reality, as it all rests on the shoulders of the public.

But let’s assume that the Shooting Brake does receive a lot of cheers and good impressions. It will probably be available sometime next year, in two versions: a convertible and a coupe, plus a Gran Coupe version that will be available in 2012. The 6 Series will share it’s powertrain with these models, that being a 3-litre engine both on diesel and petrol or a 4.4-litreV8 engine.

Let’s see what the future brings, but times have shown on many occasions that some rumors do get true, and there’s a pretty good chance that it will apply for these also.

If you’re looking on the internet for spy photos with any BMW car, I bet that most of those spy photos will be with this 2011 BMW 6 Series because as I remember, in the past time when we talked about some spy photos, we certainly talked about a 2011 BMW 6 Series prototype.

As you can see from these new two spy photos, this 2011 BMW 6 Series prototype is a convertible but it’s still a long car, I mean that it doesn’t compare to the BMW Z4 so it is probably going to be very luxury and as usual, very powerful.

There is an estimation saying that there will be built 20,000 of 2011 BMW 6 Series per year. Also, it is said on the internet that this 2011 BMW 6 Series will hit the market at the end of this year so there is very little time to wait.

It have passed some time since we talked last time about the 2011 BMW 6 Series but I think I remember pretty well that time and I also remember that we also talked about other spy photos with this car so if you want to look at more photos with it, you can simply search on this blog for them.

You should know that this 2011 BMW 6 Series is based on the CS-Concept and also the new 5 Series which makes me to understand why is this car looking so familiar to me. Also, it looks to be a convertible as you can see because it has a black soft roof.

Talking about the 6 Series, you should know that there are some rumors saying that the new BMW M6 is going to have a turbo-charged V8 engine which can be found on the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M which replaces the current V10.

After all this mess with the launch of the new BMW 5 Series, there are some new spy photos with the 2011 BMW 6 Series, a car that is probably to become as waited as the previous mentioned BMW 5 Series because from what I see in these photos, it looks awesome even with that camouflage stick so we should imagine that without it, it would be greater.

This 2011 BMW 6 Series has a soft, canvas top which is good for a sunny weather and not when it’s raining outside. Anyway, there will also be available a 2011 BMW 6 Series with rigid roof which has much more advantages then this soft canvas roof.

This new 2011 BMW 6 Series is going to be released in 2 versions: Coupe and Convertible which is a great thing because there are probably families that wishes to have such a car but they can’t because they don’t fit in the convertible one.
