AC Schnitzer released photos and details on their new tuning package for the BMW 4 Series Coupe. The German model gets a comprehensive kit capable to improve the looks as well as the performance.

Scheduled to debut at the Essen Motor Show, the tuning kit offers a new front grille, revised spoilers, side skirts and a new rear diffuser. The BMW 420i gets a power boost from 184hp to 245hp while the 428i and 435i develop 290hp and 355hp.

If you want a diesel model, the BMW 430d is now capable to produce 309hp with the more powerful 435d delivering 360 horsepower.

Last but not least, buyers will enjoy new materials inside, velour floor mats, an aluminum handbrake handle and a gear knob wrapped in leather.

Pricing details for AC Schnitzer’s package were not released yet. However, more info will be available after the model’s debut at the Essen Motor Show.

The E92 BMW M3 receives a comprehensive tuning kit from the German specialists at Manhart Racing. It’s been only few days since the company released a similar package for the F10 BMW M5.

The tuner’s creation is called Manhart MH3 V8 R Biturbo and comes with several performance tweaks and few aesthetic improvements as well.

Under the hood, the 4.4-liter V8 borrowed from the BMW X6 M is boosted to 655 horsepower and 955Nm of torque thanks to a remapped ECU.

The engine is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission while the top speed is rated at 320 km/h due to the removal of the limiter. The open-top M3 gets a new front spoiler, 20-inch alloy wheels with 255/35ZR20 tires, a MHR suspension system and an Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust system.

Last but not least, the Manhart MH3 V8 R Biturbo benefits from a high-performance braking system with 396mm (front) and 374mm (rear) drilled discs. Further details will be released in the coming days at Essen.

Is Germany’s Essen Motor Show picking up speed? Certainly seems so, just like most shows that the motoring industry used to ignore up until a few years ago.

Whatever people may be doing as they prepare for the show, BMW is announcing they’ll fit the bill by releasing a new version of their F30 BMW 3 Series.

They’ll be making an M Performance version of the Touring, or the estate variation of the lovely mid-sized sedan.

Apart from the enhanced boot compartment, it’s obvious that we’re dealing with a lot of similarities to the M Performance F30 3 Series sedan.

New 20 inch wheels and an aero package, complete with extra styling bits and appreciation are mixed in.

The showcase model will be the 320d. Moving a bit forward into the M Performance gala, this powerplant will develop 200 horsepower instead of 184.

Inside we’ll find a mix of Alcantara and carbon fiber for the trim, as well as stainless steel pedals. At the center of attention lies a new sports steering wheel.

This F30 BMW 3 Series Touring M Performance will be the headline of the BMW stand at the Essen show but the Bavarians have quite a few more toys on route to the event.

The same show will see them showcase an M Performance lineup featuring the new 125i and 120d, an F10 535i Sedan and an E92 M3 Coupe.

People who attend the event will also get a chance to try their hand at doing a pit stop challenge, all in DTM style.

BMW themselves may be coming to the Essen Motor Show but the German event is a tuning fest and the big names there aren’t always the most sonorous.

Of the latter category, AC Schnitzer just unveiled what they’ll be bringing, a tricked up version of the F20 BMW 1 Series.

Serving up a specific package from the German tuner, both the exterior and performance aspects get refined to a higher grade without spoiling the original product.

A new bumper was fitted to the front of the 1 Series and a new one is seen at the back. A discrete roof spoiler and some less than discrete wheels (sizes 18″ or 19″) and graphics complete the new exterior package.

Inside the F20 BMW 1 Series, AC Schnitzer had a pinch, tweak or change of just about every detail that matters to the driver.

There’s a bespoke gear knob that displays what gear you’re in, the i-Drive system controls have been restyled and the pedals and handbrake handle are made from aluminium.

More substantial stuff will be shown off soon as AC Schnitzer is going to unveil a new sports steering wheel for the small Bavarian hatchback.

Beneath the show lies a redesigned suspension which drops the car by a full inch and the engines get some ponies to get along with.

The F20 118d now produces 171 horsepower and the 120d chucks out 210 horsepower. Petrol engines are bound to get their own power kits at a later time.

If you’ve never heard of the Essen Motor Show or the Bavarians at BMW taking place in the proceedings, it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Despite being one of the biggest tuning shows, the Essen event is nowhere near as popular as its American equivalent, SEMA in Las Vegas.

And, as for BMW or their M Division presence being included in the event, it’s never happened before so no worries there either.

2011 is going to change that as we’ve just heard that BMW’s finest division is on their way with quite the lineup of models, products and even some special packages.

Apparently, we’re going to see the 1 Series, 3 Series, X5, X6, M3, X5 M and X6 M. Sadly though, the one in the middle, the BMW M3, isn’t going to be the one you’re hoping for.

Instead of the eagerly awaited F30 BMW M3 (or M4 according to some reports) we’re going to get a slightly tweaked E90, the one portrayed in the picture.

The next edition of the Essen Motor Show will take place in Germany in around a week as it will open its gates between November 26 to December 4.

In order to make for an extra bit of attraction at the Essen Motor Show, BMW will also be coming there with the Performance division.

Could there be some BMW racing models be making an appearance at the German tuning show? I suppose only time or an M Division press release can sort it out.
