A video with the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M has just emerged on the web, showcasing the performance of the two high-end models on the track. Both cars have received some upgrades under the hood, which make them extremely competitive on the roads as well as on the tracks.

The video review was carried out by the famous Australian auto magazine DRIVE, and is presenting the new engines found under the hood. First off, the two of them have received the new V8 M TwinPower Turbo engine, which comes with lots of power and torque.

We are talking here about 553 lb-ft of torque, available between 2,200 and 5,000 rpm, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, at a topping of an electronically limited speed of 250 km/h.

As a reminder, the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M were unveiled at an event ahead the 2014 Los Angele Auto Show, both models coming with an exquisite design, both outside and inside, where every inch of the model bears the sign of BMW`s M Division, while under the hood, the “M” also influences the dynamics and the performance of the cars.

Outside, the 2015 X5 M and X6 M are fitted with a more aggressive design, which unveils larger air intakes at the front, side grills bearing the Air Breathers, while at the rear, the models are fitted with the M four-tailpipe exhaust system, or the M 20-inch wheels, which add up some flavor to the overall look.

Inside, the 2015 BMW X5 M and the X6 M are all wrapped in leather and other premium materials, providing the cabins with a high-end mood, while the Head-Up Display also features some M goodies.

On the internet appeared few drive reviews and other more details, photos and even wallpapers so I will post few in this post. Some time ago, BMW said that they will never build a M version of X5 but now we read that they did. On the teaser site of BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M, was spotted by Jalopnik these tags: “550 bhp” ; “Twin Scroll Twin Turbo” ; “V8” and “grills”. This is kind of hidden details about BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M and there is no mistake made by BMW; probably they wanted us to see this.

Until now we knew that BMW X5 M and also BMW X6 M will develop 555 horsepower but now with these official tags, it is waited for 550 horsepower. Some people still think that the new BMW X5 M will develop 555 horsepower but from my opinion is not a big difference at all.

In 4.7 seconds, BMW X5 M reaches 60 mph and in 13.2 seconds it reaches 107.7 mph. Other change at BMW X5 M is the improved stability. In Australia BMW X5 M will be released in January.

I wrote quie a lot about the new BMW X1 but I forgot to write about a drive review. In this post I will write about some few drive reviews of BMW X1. It is considered a mini SUV and is also the smalles SUV from BMW X Series. The great rival will be probably BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo because it was launched at Frankfurt Auto Show just like BMW X1.

At first think you would say that the car is small but just comparing it with other SUV’s; the interior is quite large. I think if you would see a BMW X1 and a BMW X3 next to each other, the differences would not be so big. The two wheel drive does not come into North America but however I would prefer the four wheel drive.

The xDrive28i will come first but there is a weird thing that I don’t belive it. I read that this first model will be built in 2011.
