The latest model that is offered for sale is the below 1990 Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo, the model being recently restored and now looking in pristine condition.

It costs just $16,260 and comes with just 151.000 km on board. It also features a standout Alpine Blue exterior paint, with no indication of any serious accidents on its body styling whatsoever.

Mechanically, the 1990 Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo comes with a series of modifications, such as new suspension system with Alpina springs and anti-roll bars, Bilstein shocks up front with automatic-load leveling units at the rear, as well as 13-inch Front rotors discs commissioned from Lucas Girling.

Inside, the interior has also received some changes, including the Alpina badges on the seating, dashboard and so on.

BMW is ready to officially launch the 2016 BMW M2 in November, the deliveries starting at the beginning of 2016, but until then, new M2 test mules have been spotted cruising the streets of California. Two other BMW M2s were previously spotted while being tested on the Mojave Desert.

Judging by the photos provided by Bimmerpost, the 2016 BMW M2 spotted in California are wrapping the Alpine White, Mineral Grey as well as the Black Sapphire colors. Another interesting thing to be noticed is that the Black Sapphire M2 is coming with a sunroof, which confirms the initial reports, stating no carbon fiber roof.

Additionally, the 2016 BMW M2 will come with a 50:50 weight distribution between the two axles, thanks to the technological advanced chassis. More than that, the upcoming M2 will also fit the M limited-slip differential on the rear axle.

Already previewed, the 2016 BMW M2 will pack the updated N55 engine with some components taken from the S55 unit, seen on the 2-Series` top of the line M235i. The standard i3 battery-running vehicle will be eligible deemed for the California`s white stickers, which let owners drive only in HOV lanes alone.

With the unlimited number of white stickers for the EVs like the Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S, California has set a law limiting the number of the green stickers, which allow solo-HOV access to plug-in hybrids and as well extended-range plug ins, to only 40,000 units.

Last year, there were around 29,000 green stickers alone to be given to cars like Chevrolet Volt and the Toyota Prius Plug In, as the stickers for this year, for other green cars like the BMW i3 might be running out in just a couple of months.

There is also a waiting list for the i3 Range extender to be running out starting with January, so the time is slowly ticking away, and that would put off the customers looking to buy the i3.

Earlier this year, the German manufacturer said that the i3 REx would be the perfect suitor for the white stickers, as the car is also called BEVx, meaning it is an electric motor with a single-charge range.

With all that, BMW assured us that the green stickers wouldn’t run out until the end of 2014.

The BMW 335d and X5d were close to not passing the CARB.

These diesel cars needed special approval in order to be legally sold in the state of California. Both cars have been conditionally certified because of the rough standards on emissions. BMW is allowed to start selling their vehicles, but with each sale a fine will be emitted by the CARB. In total, there were 7 problems which have been discovered and which need to be solved by the people from BMW. If the problems don’t get fixed, the company will have to pay more for each car they sale in California, or even worse, they can lose their conditionally certification.

At the moment, the problems are unknown and everyone is waiting for a solution from BMW.
