Following a recent BMW X5M tuning program carried out by European Auto Source a couple of days ago, the powerful and menacing SUV from the Bavarian carmaker is ending up in our news again in a new and standout program, under the close surveillance of the technicians from G-Power.

G-Power are well-known for their extreme power kits added to different BMW products, like the M3 or M4, X5, X6 and recently on the topper X5M. The kit is called Typhoon and mainly refers to the car`s exquisite power and some visual upgrades.

The BMW X5M looks smashing with the new aero components, including the carbon fiber bonnet with “Venturi” based Dynamic Venting system, front aprons with custom air intakes, wider front wheel arches, side skirts, as well as the 102 mm tailpipes with titanium sport exhaust system. The overall design is complemented by the massive 23-inch HURRICANE RR alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the X5M Typhoon is coming with the tuner`s Bi-Tronik 2 V3 power kit, consisting of new turbochargers and updated engine software, which raises the SUV`s power to a whopping 750 horsepower and 980 Nm of torque.

The higher-performance titanium sports exhaust system and new turbochargers also provide the SUV with a much more impressive engine soundtrack. Unfortunately, the tuner have not revealed the performance figures, meaning that the Typhoon X5M is still undergoing some testing. The BMW X5M in its latest generation represents one of the most powerful SUVs on the market, the model coming with sheer performance and aggressive body styling. And one of the reason we have seen it in so many tuning projects is that it can pack a hell of a lot more power.

The aftermarket specialists from Shiftech tuner, well-known for their impressive power customizations, have recently laid their eyes on this superb 2016 BMW X5M and decided to shake things a little bit under the hood.

The technicians have added a power kit consisting of a remapped ECU and engine software upgrade, managing to power boost the SUV`s performance. Interestingly enough, they also offer a 5-year warranty in case anything goes wrong in the meantime.

In the standard form, the car`s upgraded 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 packs 575 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The engine sends the power to all wheels via a high-performance nine-speed automatic ZF gearbox. The figures are extremely impressive if we take into account the heavy 2.3-ton tank.

The stock performance might be a thing of the past, considering that Shiftech raised its power to a whopping 691 horsepower and 852 Nm of torque. In case you decide that kinda power for your X5M, then you should know that the power kit costs just 1,290 euros.

G-Power is used to customizing BMWs with its special power kits, along with the new set of 23-inch HURRICAINE RR forged alloy wheels which make them even more aggressive than before.

We have last seen the extraordinary and all mighty BMW X5M stuffed with a lot of power from G-Power, but we have never seen in full throttle with a hefty dosage of power, part of Stage 3 kit.

And the secret ingredient of this stage 3 power kit is the tuner`s G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module, adding new turbochargers with larger turbine and compressor wheels, as well as bespoke titanium exhaust system.

You can now imagine all the power squeezed out from the same 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 engine: impressive 750 horsepower and whopping 980 Nm of torque, which is quite enough to sprint from 0 to 200 km/h in just 11.5 seconds. The top speed of 300 km/h also helps achieve the figure.

Besides the stage kit 3, G-Power also offers “not that impressive” power, like 700 horsepower and 905 Nm of torque, achieved with the Bi-Tronik 5 V1 and 650 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, respectively, thanks to the Bi-Tronik 2 V1 remap with fabricated flow-optimised stainless downpipes.

No matter the stake kit, the BMW X5M in this form, is one of the most powerful SUVs being present on tuning market at the moment.

The 2016 BMW X5M SUV is back into the spotlights again, this time the gorgeous and powerful SUV being highlighted by the wide wheels installed by AMP Forged tuner, which deals with heavy customizations on different BMW models.

This time was X5M`s turn to look like a real killer. Aside the sheer power, this particular SUV has been personalized with a set of new wheels. So we are dealing here with minor customization, the model already looking extremely aggressive from the factory.

The BMW X5M is more powerful than the stock X5, looking here at 575 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque of pure muscles. Add up the exotic Long Beach Blue color and the M Performance kidney grilles or black bumper inserts, and you have the perfect ride.

But we can spicy up things by adding a new set of wheels from AMP Forged tuner. The engineers have installed their custom 22-inch AMP-5 wheels with concave design, which perfectly complements the exterior and the M Performance parts.

Also, the wheels are finished in black, while the lips and centers have also received a gloss black with matte black touch. Let`s not forget the Candy Red inner barrels, the two-tone center cap and red lip engraving, and we have the perfect combination for the perfect ride.

The BMW X5M is the ultimate SAV from the German based carmaker, the model coming with sheer performance and an evolutionary body style that make it quite unique.

But the aftermarket specialists from Manhart tuner in collaboration with G-Power tuner, have decided that the stock power was not enough for the X5M and decided that a power boost would make it a complete SAV.

In the stock version, the BMW X5M packs a 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine, with a good 575 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, but thanks to some mods carried out under the hood, the SAV is now churning out a whopping 700 horsepower, available at 6,500 rpm and 900 Nm of torque, at 5,700 rpm. The topping stands at 315 km/h.

All the power is achievable thanks to the new engine software, stainless steel sport mufflers with valve control, or custom exhaust system. The entire power kit costs 7,500 euros.

Apart the power boost, the owner of this BMW X5M also opted for the grey-matte exterior wrap, available at 3,500 euros, along with the new 22-inch BBS SV wheels with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti rubbers, costing an additional 4,284 euros.

Other features include the 1,188-euro H&R lowering springs, or the 799-euro AWRON display inside the cabin.

A few days ago we have published an interesting post related to BMW X6M because it official appeared for first time on internet.

BMW X5M is the BMW X6M‘s twin brother and both are powered by a V8 Twin-Turbo engine (4.4-liters) that produces no more than 555hp and a maximum torque of 680 Nm. These two M division cars have a 0-60mph acceleration of 4.5 seconds and wouldn’t to worry by competitors: Audi and Mercedes.

Keep in mind this: The engine from X5M and X6M will be awarded at “Best Engine of The Year 2009” contest!!!

Because of the engine, I think X5M and X6M are best performance SUVs over the world and BMW X6M would be the best performance safety car at MotoGP 2009 in Qatar this weekend.
