BMW revealed a special edition of the ActiveHybrid 7, namely the Individual Edition. It will be available exclusively in Japan starting December and comes with a series of styling tweaks. Until we get to see the novelties, we have to remind you that the German model packs a 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit and an electric motor.

The total output is rated at 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5,7 seconds and an average fuel consumption of 6,8 liters/100 km.

The German model benefits from a lithium-ion battery capable to offer a modest zero-emission driving range of 4 kilometers. At the exterior, the BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Individual Edition benefits from two finishes, namely Mineral White and Citrine Black, new 20-inch alloys, a sunroof and special badges.

Enter the cabin and you will find an Alcantara roofliner, Merino leather upholstery, piano black inserts, ash grain white and walnut satin honey brown wood trim, Individual sill plates and a revised steering wheel with wood and leather accents.

The BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Individual Edition starts at ¥13,100,000 or $120,095 with only 20 units to be produced.

I consider this news very bad and awful and not because I would like to buy a BMW ActiveHybrid 7 but for those people who intend to buy a BMW ActiveHybrid 7. Why? Because I like to consider that we are all equals and with the news that first will be available only for VIPs, it makes me feel bad.

Anyway, if you are a VIP this should be very great news especially if you are a BMW fan, now you’re able to get your own BMW ActiveHybrid 7 but I doubt that a VIP would have enough time to read blogs.

Anyway, I have to remind you that this is not a full electric car but it is still doing a very big favor to our planet because it is using electric engines but these are combined with a fuel consumption engine so that even if it is a hybrid, it will be very powerful.

The front side of the interior looks to have “many buttons to play with” but it is also looking very high tech and professional. I must also tell you about the non-smoking sign so that when the BMW ActiveHybrid 7 was designed, they realized that if someone smokes into this car, it may damage the electronic or skin or anything else, you should respect this anyway.

The back is much more interesting because in the regular cases, that is the place where is staying the owner of the car. As you can see, you have 2 monitors and an audio controller which makes that part of the interior to be the most relaxing one.

I’m not very good at this but I have some experience with the BMW cars but in any situation, you should read this post because you may find it useful. To start, I must say that the design of this car is very new at the BMW and, as always, it doesn’t disappoints us or at last me.

The front looks by far distance with a Rolls Royce but this is just my imagination. It is pretty aggressive in a way but you can also consider it cute. The side reveals the fact that this BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is a limousine and also that it is long.

The back is also pretty new and it is informing us that this car is a very luxury and also powerful one. The exterior design of this car is revealing that this BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is a very luxury and also powerful car.

This is one of the most luxury unreleased cars from what I see and I have to tell you that I realized that this new BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is very similar to the latest BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo and the aspect is almost identic, anyone can notice this fact.

Anyway, this will still be a great car, and at the same time, it will be very unique. As I said in the title and also in another post, BMW ActiveHybrid 7 has been presented at the L.A. Auto Show and you can see some pictures with this car at that Auto Show in this post.

This new BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is so close to be launched into the international market and more exactly, this will happen in the spring of the next year. At the moment we have to say that we know all the details about this hybrid so now we have to wait just few months until the release.

BMW presented the new BMW ActiveHybrid X6 and also BMW ActiveHybrid 7 at the L.A Auto Show. Also, BMW announced plans about these cars for the North American market. One of the things that they said there is that BMW ActiveHybrid X6 price will start from $89,725 and it will have under the hood a twin turbo charged V8 engine that will be able to develop up to 400 horsepower.

BMW ActiveHybrid 7 has a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine and a synchronous electric motor sitting between the engine and the torque converter developing a total of 455 horsepower and a torque of 516 lb-ft.

BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept’s engine can develop up to 356 horsepower and a torque of 590 lb-ft. You may notice now that BMW put an accent on these types of cars: hybrids; which is a very good thing because probably after 20 years, on streets will be only full electric cars.
