A lot of carmakers are paying their tribute when it comes to customizing a one-off BMW 1M and Vossen Wheels tuner is the latest to have wrapped the sports car with their dedicated set of alloy wheels.

We are dealing here with the high-performance Vossen VFS-1 wheels, which make this Alpine White 1M even more aggressive.

To make its look even more spectacular, the aftermarket specialists from Vossen have also added a black vinyl to the roof, the model now being in a perfect color balance with the wheels. Add up the new black side mirrors, kidney grille and rear diffuser and you have one of the most exotic and perfect 1M rides ever leaving an aftermarket shop.

As expected, Vossen Wheels have left the engine intact, this Alpine White BMW 1M still packing the same N54 twin-turbo 3.0-liter with BMW TwinPower Turbo, which develops no less than 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, available between 1,500-4,500 rpm.

The power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission with a slip-limited differential, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, a worthy performance that can be compared to today`s BMW M3 and M4. The topping stands at 250 km/h.

The California-based tuner is coming back into the spotlights with its latest project carried out on the iconic BMW 1M.

We are dealing here with a splendidbody style make-over, this Alpine White BMW 1M receiving a carbon fiber aero kit, consisting of a new front splitter, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler, as well as a new hood with the functional vents.

The entire body style is now complemented by the new 19-inch BBS FI alloy wheels, all wrapped in Michelin rubbers. The cabin of this 1M features the track BMW Performance Seats.

In the engine department, the BMW 1M is also looking fresh with the new goodies, the aftermarket specialists from EAS adding the Gruppe M Intake, BMW Oil Catch Can, Evolution Racewerks Chargepipe, Forge Intercooler, PTF Custom Map as well as the Akrapovic Full Eshaust System with Catless Downpipes.

The BMW 1M uses an upgraded 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo, with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.

The BMW 1M is that iconic model that has been released on the market in just 6309 models, the model being so rare that it now costs more than the original price tag set in 2011. Unfortunately, for this one, EAS has not revealed the price.

The iconic and legendary BMW 1M is far away from being pulled over in a dusty garage, as more and more tuning companies are taking advantage of this extraordinary model and wrap it with unique and stand-out tuning packages.

It is also the case of the iND Distribution tuner which has given this BMW 1M its true identity. First off, the tuner wrapped it with the gorgeous Valencia Orange exterior, followed by a one-off carbon fiber aero kit, with a new front spoiler, carbon fiber accents, customized rear decklid spoiler and a few more with that.

The BMW 1M is still in the favors of a lot of aftermarket shops and receives a lot of new and special body style programs, and that thanks to the sports car`s extraordinary body language which still impresses us today, four years after it was decided to be put off the production.

This BMW 1M seen here in the photo gallery wrapping the Long Beach Blue exterior color, has also received the “gentle touch” of the Carbon Fiber Dynamics tuning company, which has fitted the iconic model with a carbon fiber body kit.

The BMW 1M by Carbon Fiber Dymanics can be seen wearing the carbon fiber front spoiler and front splitter, rear diffuser, rear spoiler as well as the same carbon fiber on the roof. Other elements include the powerdrome hood found on the M3 as well, along with the lowering spring kit and the sport exhaust system.

In the engine department, we are not sure if this BMW 1M has received any upgrades, but judging by the powerdrome hood, we might guess that the power has been raised with a remapped ECU, reaching an estimated 400 horsepower.

In the stock form, the BMW 1M unveiled in 2011, is coming with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, capable of reaching 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, via a six-speed manual with a limited slip differential. The model now costs more than used to four years ago, meaning that you might have to pay around $62,000 as opposed to the starting price of $41,135 in 2011.

The legendary BMW 1M is popping up in our news again, after receiving some cool performance features from the famous European Auto Source tuning company. This is their latest tune-up project, after upgrading the top of the line M235i model from the 2-Series.

The BMW 1M has received a lot of goodies made entirely from carbon fiber, but the main part is the carbon fiber Gruppe M intake, specially manufactured in Japan, which adds up a performance statistics to the sports car. The new carbon intake comes with the high-flow K&N air filter which “increase flow and efficiency and captures contaminants.”

As a reminder, the BMW 1M has first seen the daylight back in 2011, being considered one of the most attractive and appreciated BMW models, with prices that have increasingly raised, now the model costing $61,670, compared to the base $46,135, back in 2011.

The stock BMW 1M also comes with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque under the hood, hooked to a six-speed manual with limited slip differential, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4.8 seconds. We have no performance detailing concerning the upgrades carried out to the unit, after receiving the carbon fiber intake.

Unfortunately, the BMW carmaker has decided to put the 1M on the stand, in June 2012, after being successfully sold in 6309 models, out of which 740 units were sold in the United States and 220 units in Canada.

The BMW 1M, which is one of the most wanted BMWs all time, is not and will never be forgotten, as the hot ride was recently tuned-up and then sent for a photo session, curtesy of the guys from the C-Kraft Photography.

But before being photoshot, the BMW 1M all wrapped in the special Alpine White finish, has received a one-off upgrade body style, consisting of an aggressive body language and some other parts at the front and rear end. The wider track, which is also complemented by the ADV5.0 M.V2 CS wheels with red finish, from ADV.1 Wheels, give the model a special stance on the track.

Let`s not forget that since we are talking about a wanted sports car, the prices set out for this particular model are even higher now than the previous catalogue prices, and its value is also given by the high-performance it comes with under the hood.

We are talking here about a 3.0-liter unit, developing a great 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The BMW 1M is hooked to a six-speed manual transmission and is also equipped with a limited slip differential.

There are plenty of photos and videos out there where one BMW or another managed to find its end in quite brutal accidents.

And be it on the Nurburgring or just in a back alley, be it the fault of the driver or something else, it is always a sad sight for enthusiasts.

But there is one way of destroying a perfectly good Bimmer without putting a scratch on it. Usually these equally gruesome ends come at the hands of tuners, who try too hard to improve on the design, when there is really no need to. As a home project, we can almost understand that, but why would a professional tuner actually do this to a BMW 1M.

The 1M is already considered a rare car, with only 6331 unit ever produced, and every time one botches a tune on these, that number just goes down. There are, of course, several project involving the BMW 1M that are absolutely brilliant, and these come from tuners like AC Schnitzer. This monstrosity draped in chrome vinyl wrap and wearing green neon wheels is anything but brilliant.

It’s been a while since we talked last time about a tuning package dedicated to a model within BMW’s range but we are returning with tuning news and we do it big time. The smallest M ever created by BMW, the 1 Series M Coupe to be more precise, benefits from the first package, a tuning program which comes with styling tweaks but more important with power upgrades. As we previously reported, the new 1 Series M Coupe will be manufactured in less than 1,000 units so you’d better hurry up.

TechTec is the name of the tuning house which provides some noteworthy upgrades to the new BMW 1 Series M Coupe. We know that the standard 1M Coupe lapped the Hockenheim circuit in 1:14.1, slightly faster than the BMW M3 which did in 1:14.2. Well, the performance upgrades brought by the German tuners managed to improve the lap time to 1:13:59, not too much, theoretically.

We said theoretically because you will see that we talk about significant power improvements which raise the total output to 450 horsepower. For the beginning, TechTec offers a first power stage able to squeeze 380 horsepower and 578 Nm of torque from the 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit offering 335 horses in standard. This power increase costs around $1,400 while for additional $2,100 you can get a 400-horsepower BMW 1 Series M Coupe.

Lastly, the German tuners provide a power upgrade able to raise the total output to 450 horsepower, resources able to make the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h possible in 4,1 seconds. The top speed increases as well to 300 km/h by getting rid of the speed limiter. Besides the power improvements, TechTec offers a new sport-suspension from KW, a system able to improve the handling while a new titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic will strengthen the sound produced by the revised engine.

There is almost no point to talk about the aesthetic tweaks as the variety of power upgrades brought by this tuning kit is most probably all what an 1M Coupe owner wants. However, at the exterior the German tuners applied some decals and vinyls but kept focused on the technical improvements.
