German tuner TJ Fahrzeugdesign has recently transformed a BMW 118d Coupe into a 1M replica, developing a massive 555 horsepower.

The tuner company managed to turn the 118d Coupe into a real monster 1M with an inline six-cylinder V10 engine, taken from the previous generation of M5 and M6 models.

The company has managed to raise the car`s power to 555 horses at 8.8 rpm. The 1M has now a rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed SMG transmission.

The 1M is capable of reaching the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in less than 12 seconds. As for the 0 to 300 km/h sprint, the German car could come up with 36 seconds.

The tuner company didn’t rest only on modifications being made under the hood alone, as the TJ Fahrzeugdesign also managed to come up with some other tweaks like the KW Clubsport coilover suspension Variant 3 and the same brakes being put on the X6 M.

More than that, the 1M has also the same suspension being rendered on the M3 E92. The car also comes with a stainless steel exhaust system, with the car sitting on 19-inch rims.

This is a really cool car but if you would look at it through my eyes you will notice also another thing namely that this is weird. I mean BMW 1 Series is built to be presented by hatchbacks and the car that I will talk about is a coupe but it is still looking good.

This 2010 BMW 118d Coupe looks pretty similar to the BMW 3 Series or even more with BMW M3 but it is a little bit smaller. 2010 BMW 118d Coupe has a 2.0 turbocharged diesel engine developing up to 141 horsepower also accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 9 seconds.

Some people are saying that the price is pretty good but I say that for such a small car, namely an 1 Series it should be at last a little cheaper. Anyway, 2010 BMW 118d Coupe costs $37,100 but if I would have enough money for such a car, I would really buy one.

No, BMW is not giving up on its high-powered monsters. Even so, they are trying to turn their attention to environment-friendly vehicles. BMW spokesman says that their future plans continue to include the same old raw power which is practically the true face of BMW, but they are also experimenting with models like the BMW 118d Convertible.

Even with a green engine, the BMW 118d Convertible is still reaching the 62mph mark in 9.5 seconds. The car has low emissions, it can’t even be compared with other BMW’s of its kind, but it loses points when you mention power or torque. The price starts at £23,660 and most people will be satisfied with the compromise.
