The 2015 BMW X6 was recently reviewed by the guys from XCAR, who also launched a video on the web, showcasing the performance of the sixth gen X6.

The 2015 BMW X6 is coming with an estimated price of $61,900 in the United States, without the $950 destination charges.

For that money, the 2015 X6 model will come equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder gasoline unit, developing 300 horsepower in the xDrive35i version, when hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The other version, the 2015 X6 xDrive50i, will sport a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 unit, outputting 445 horsepower.

On the other side, the Old Continent will get the 2015 X6 xDrive30d, packed with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel, with 258 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque.

The top ranger X6 M50d version will also be available in Europe, with the same 2.0-liter six-cylinder diesel unit, developing a higher 381 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque.

The order guide for the BMW`s X4 was just rendered over the internet, just ahead the car`s public debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show.

After first seen in metal just some while ago, the BMW X4 is now on the public`s attention with the newly rendered order guide.

The BMW X4 will become available in the US sooner than we might thing, the vehicle coming in two trims, the M Sport and the xLine.

According to the order guide, the former has a starting price of $2,300 for the xDrive28, while the xDrive35i has a price of $1,900.

The BMW X4 comes standard with sport seats, M steering wheel, 19-inch wheels, black headliner and a body kit which is more aggressive.

There are aslo some other options included like the SensaTec leatherette as well as some choices of leather trims, set at $1,450.

As for the optional package included, there are 6 to choose from, starting with the cheapest $700 for the Driver Assistance Package, while the top Technology Package costs $3,150.

More details will be available at the time of the X4`s public display at the 2014 New York Auto Show.

The 2015 BMW X4 has just been launched ahead the upcoming 2014 New York Auto Show, due next month, with the car being priced with the base $45,625.

BMW has had a huge success with the original X6 coupe and now the German base luxury manufacturer has decided to launch a next-generation of coupe-like, in the shape of the all-new X4.

Like so many other crossover-like coupe, the X4 is also based on the X3`s platform, just like the wider X6 sharing its platform with the X5 sibling, with the car being manufactured at the BMW`s plant in Spartanburg, South California.

The X4 is meant to face tough challenge from Range Rover Evoque, Porsche Macan or Lincoln MKC, aiming to becoming the top of the line in terms of both utility as well as performance.

We are also talking about the car`s four-door body with coupe characteristics, with vehicle featuring sporty option and a tighter space inside.

Under the hood, the 2015 BMW X4 offers a choice of engines like the base 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 240 ponies for the xDrive28i, along with a more powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six engine with 300 horsepower for the xDrive 35i.

Humans make mistakes and as much as we like to think of the guys over at BMW being gods, they have gone wrong once or twice.

This time however, regarding the 2012 BMW X5 in xDrive 35i spec, a mistake has sneaked into that will lead to a recall. The mistake or the problem aren’t really that important but the number of cars recalled is.

It seems that ONLY SIX cars are affected by the problem and BMW will start notifying X5 owners as soon as possible and that they’ve already wrote a letter to the NHTSA.

I’m willing to bet the authority, no matter how serious they have to be had a bit of a giggle when opening that letter and reading the number of affected vehicles.

Getting into the problem, it seems that something within the automatic transmission of these 2012 BMW X5 xDrive35i SAVs doesn’t work properly and yet may appear to have engaged Park.

There’s a bit of a risk of a roll away when owners leave their cars which could lead to accidents, therefore the injuries and deaths that could then occur so the matter is actually serious.

These affected 2012 BMW X5 models have been built between December 19 and 21 of last year.

The fix for the situation will be done free of charge at local BMW dealers but it may take a bit of time. Apparently the only way to ensure this problem goes away is to replace the transmission.

Even if its small, this recall should bring quite the cost to the Bavarians as transmission swaps don’t come cheap. Particularly when they’re as modern as the eight speed 2012 BMW X5 has.

My favorite engine which is also the most powerful one for this 2011 BMW X5 Facelift is a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine which can develop up to 402 horsepower and 400 Nm which is almost as powerful as the M which can develop 555 horsepower but there is still a difference right there which can’t be ignored.
