I can`t help talking about the BMW`s stars M3 and M4 over and over again, since they were the ones to give the tone for the next generation of car luxury and high sport generation of BMW at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

The M3 and M4 might be considered to be the followers of the 2000s E92 M3, with their V8 engine and flame-styled looks.

But now we have to look ahead towards a new generation of cars that lies ahead of us. The new M models from BMW promise a lot in terms of technology and performance.

Victor Leleu, the product manager at BMW, says that both cars have a unique styling, based on weight savings and engines in details, making them the cars that would stand against the wind of change.

The two BMWs promise to deliver a unique experience in terms of driving experience and pleasure at the same time.

The BMW has taken this one time opportunity at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show to demonstrate the world that the German manufacturer still dominates the world at the luxury equals performance category.

Spyshots of the 2012 BMW 6 Series both coupe and convertibles have been seen around quite a bit and recently they’ve been dropping some of the camouflage as well but one particular model, perhaps the most eagerly expected one of the full F12 lineup hasn’t yet been seen around.

Things have changed today, the 20120 F12 BMW M6 has been spotted near the Nurburgring and showed up covered in camo from bumper to bumper.

Beside the obviously less revealing look of the car, the fact that this gave it away as a M6 are the massive and different wheels, the very low profile tires, the quad exhaust layout that’s visible on most M powered Bavarian creations and the drilled brake rotors.

The changes that can be spotted so far are the restyled front bumper and an LED strip used for the turn signal indicators can be found beneath the restyled headlight.

As a typical assumption based on past generations of BMW M6, the F12 variant will use the twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 used in the X5 M the X6 M and soon the M5 saloon but with more grunt, expect somewhere in the best part of 570-580 horsepower or so.

All signs point to a Paris Motor Show debut for the revised 6 Series, so we’d expect the M6 to debut early next year and go on sale as a 2012 model.

Since the new BMW 5 Series has been grabbing headlines left and right it’s about time BMW made it easy for you to buy your own.

In case you are planning on making that move, BMW’s USA site now features a car configurator specifically purposed in letting you get yourself the 550i or the 535i you want and the toys you deem necessary on either of them.

In case you’re wondering why BMW would only let you spec up the 550i and 535i it’s because these are the only models available in America at the moment so it would be foolish to let you configurate any others.

As a reminder, underneath the trim levels, optional extras and so on you still get two massive debates to yourself.

Do you need the 4.4L twin-turbo V8 giving you 400 horsepower the 550i has to offer or will you settle for the 3.0L twin-scroll turbocharged inline six engine that produces 300 horsepower. There is a bit of a price gap between the two but to be honest both are great picks.

Another area where you might be unsure is this; Do you want the typical sedan or are you going to go for the GT version?

Difficult decisions, good thing the online configurator is now available, right?

The Nordschleife got a very interesting visit recently in the form of the 2011 BMW M3 GTS.

The limited edition of the E92 M3 will stand to replace the CSL version of the previous generation of M3 as this is still a lightweight, hardcore, track racing focused car that is still road legal.

Road legal is a relative term as all the modifications brought to the car will fail to make it past road-going legislation in many countries, the biggest of which will be the United States of America.

The GTS version of the BMW M3 is due to be on sale by next month and features a 4.4 liter V8 engine that has an output of 450 horsepower. The list of upgrades also includes a 7-speed M DKG Drivelogic gearbox, a multitude of weight saving materials used in the body and as a list of downgrades you know get no stereo, no air conditioning and no back seats. Reminds you of any recent BMW CSL’s list of equipment?

To sum up, other than a 419 pound diet you get a hardcore BMW M3 with a wing on it’s back. Well, not really. What you do get is probably one of the best driving machines made to date and one of the most amazing sounds ever to be heard round the Nurburgring.

More exactly, this BMW CLR X650 M Lumma is going to be revealed at the Geneva Auto Show and I noticed a thing namely that a lot of cars are being revealed before the official launch and this time they are revealed before the launch at the Geneva Auto Show.

The original BMW X6 M was having a twin-turbo V8 engine which was able to develop up to 547 horsepower so after the tuning package, the power of that engine was upgraded to 641 horsepower and also a maximum torque of 612 lb-ft. also, the top speed of this BMW CLR X650 M Lumma is at 312 kilometers per hour.

If someone would ask me my favorite ActiveHybrid after something like 6 months, it would probably be this BMW ActiveHybrid 5 because I love the BMW 5 Series but at the same time I love the hybrids built by BMW so this would be in the top of my favorite BMW cars.

I also know that there is just one week left until the release at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show. I would also like to tell you that at the moment, this BMW ActiveHybrid 5 remains a concept comparing to BMW ActiveHybrid 7 or BMW ActiveHybrid X6.

People are expecting from this BMW ActiveHybrid 5 to come with a 3.0 liter turbocharged straight-six engine and of course that if it is a hybrid, that engine is combined with a 40 kW electric engine which makes this car to be a perfect city car but also a good car to travel with.

I must say that after reading deeply the details released by Inside Line after testing a BMW X6 ActiveHybrid I realized that BMW was kind of wrong when they said the output power for this car and I can’t think that they lied about it, they would know that they would have a lot of trouble if they would lie.

The guys from Inside Line told us that BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is able to develop up to 368 horsepower and a maximum torque of 402 lb-ft while BMW told us that BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is able to develop up to 480 horsepower and also a maximum torque of 575 lb-ft.

You may say that there is place for an error but this error is way too much, they should do something about it. I would prefer not to give $92,325 for a BMW X6 ActiveHybrid instead of buying a much powerful BMW X6 M.

The new BMW M3 Coupe Facelift have been caught by spy photographers showing it face to the public again. These spy photos with the BMW M3 Coupe Facelift were very useful to us revealing new LED taillights and probably a new wider grille. I must say that we are very lucky to see the car without the camouflage, just with a little coverage for the BMW logo.

The interior is not going to have a big change while under the hood will be a 4.0 liter V8 engine which is able to develop up to 414 horsepower and a maximum torque of 295 lb-ft which will make this BMW M3 Coupe Facelift able to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds or 4.5 seconds with the seven speed M transmission.

These should be great news for the speed maniacs that are at the same time also BMW fans. Yes, BMW Z4 GT3 is coming with the BMW M3 V8 engine, thing that will happen next year. Anyway, it is still not the same engine but don’t worry, it will be a much better one, better said an updated BMW M3’s V8 engine.

The BMW M3’s V8 4.0 liter engine will be able to push this car to develop up to 480 horsepower and it will also feature a 6 speed gearbox transmission which will make this little cool car able to “fly”.

Anyway, I can say that there is a problem or at last for the people like me this car is priced at 298,000 euros which is a very big price for such a tiny car but I still respect it because it can develop very high performances and it’s also built by my favorite auto maker: BMW.
