If you live in the United States and love the all-new 2018 X2 and X3 from BMW, and yet don’t have enough money to buy the top notch variants, than you should take into account the cheaper variants the carmaker is throwing on the market.

The 2018 BMW X2 can be had in the cheaper variant, the sDrive28i, available from $36,400, as well as the sDrive30i from the new X3, costing no more than $41,000. Prices don’t include the $995 destination and handling fee.

If you opt for the 2018 BMW X2 sDrive28i, then you should know that the model is already available in pre-orders, while the X3 sDrive30i will arrive in a couple of months. So you still have time to put some money away for the latter model.

With $2,000 less than the top of the line X2 xDrive28i, the entry-level sDrive28i also comes with some important characteristics.

Visually, the 2018 BMW X2 xDrive28i features LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels or power tailgate. Inside, the model gets the same plethora of high-tech gadgetries and standard equipment – 10-way power front sport seats with SensaTec upholstery, automatic climate control system, or seven-speaker audio system. The cabin is also tweaked with high-gloss black trim with pearl gloss chrome accents, while the steering wheel is wrapped in high-end leather.

In the engine department, the model is equipped with a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo flat-four engine with 228 horsepower and 349 Nm of torque, sent to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. This means an acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in a good 6.6 seconds, at a top speed of 231 km/h.

Being the older sibling, it means that the X3 sDrive30i will get the same visual treatment and the same equipment inside the cabin. The only difference is the engine configuration. In this case, the 2.0-liter flat-four cylinder outputs 248 horsepower and 349 Nm of torque. The acceleration is 0.1 second better than the X2 sDrive28i.

By far the most powerful M model that BMW has ever created, the all-new 2018 BMW M5 is set to arrive in the United States next spring, with prices to start from $102,600. At least this is what the German based carmaker has recently declared at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2017 L.A. Auto Show closes the year`s most appreciated car events with BMW getting its chance of releasing the base price of the upcoming M5 in the US.

Officially announced ahead the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 2018 BMW M5 is the epiphany of good looks, technology at its best and impressive performance under the hood.

The new M5 follows the M`s division design language and comes enhanced with an extremely aggressive body style. It features more lightweight materials which make it faster and increase its performance figures.

We are dealing here with aluminum hood and carbon-fiber reinforced plastic roof, 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels finished in Orbit Grey, new front and rear bumpers, much wider air intakes, rear diffuser with quad tailpipes, flared wheel arches and much, much more.

The cabin is equipped with the latest technology, also underpinning the new 5-Series and the 7-Series – M head-up display, BMW`s latest digital instrument cluster, M Sports steering wheel, push-button for ignition, plenty of drive-mode buttons, as well as the highest levels of materials, like Extended Merino leather upholstery, carbon fiber trims and so on.

Performance wise, the new M5 is be state-of-the-art, with its exclusive 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine, churning out a staggering 600 horsepower and 748 Nm of torque. This is a 40 horsepower and 71 Nm of torque increase compared with the previous model, allowing an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The ‘X’ range from BMW`s entire model fleet still keeps the headlines of every important auto magazines in the world, the German based carmaker announcing arrivals after arrivals of new models on all markets.

With the all-new and luxurious X7 already to be introduced some time ago, or the X4 and X4 completing the final tests just before their introduction at the beginning of 2018, BMW is also busy launching the all-new 2018 X3 worldwide.

After the official introduction of the new X3 in the Land Down Under, with prices to start from $68,900 – X3 xDrive20d ($68,900), X3 xDrive30i ($75,900) and the top of the line X3 xDrive30d ($83,900) – the model is now making its debut in the United States.

With the online configuration already available on the US market, the 2018 BMW X3 can be had for at least $43,445, once arriving there at the end of the year or beginning of 2018. This would be the entry-level price of the X3 xDrive30i. Power from the xDrive30i comes from a 2.0-liter turbo flat-four engine with 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is also done in 6.0 seconds.

Equipped with the xLine, Luxury Design or M Sport Design, the 2018 BMW X3 can also become a $50,000 worth of upgrades, like new wheels, updated front and rear spoilers and a couple of more inside the cabin.

Moving to the second model available in the United States, the X3 M40i, this one comes with a price tag of $55,295 and standard features. However, in case you want it enhanced with additional packages, then you will have to empty your pockets for at least $70,000.

In the engine department, the top of the line X3 M40i features an upgraded 3.0-liter B58 turbocharged I6 mill, rather the same one found on the M240i. The M40i`s power stands at 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, being sent to the wheels via a high-performance eight-speed automatic transmission; this also allows for a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 4.6 seconds.

BMW is making the final preparations before unveiling the all-new G01 X3 M40i in June, with the carmaker confirming the arrival of the model on the US soil starting this October.

We are looking here at the third-generation BMW X3, a completely new SAV standing on a new platform and coming with increase space inside and plenty of performance under the hood.

Previous reports and spy photos have confirmed that the G01 BMW X3 M40i will be standing on the carmaker`s new rear-wheel drive flexible modular architecture, meaning more lightweight materials around the body style.

With around 100 kg lighter, more interior space inside and redesigned seating, the all-new X3 M40i will provide increase comfort for all passengers, the driver included. It will also bring aboard the latest technology, also seen on other high-end and new models.

Under the skin, the new BMW X3 will feature a new range of engines, which will be more fuel-efficient and high-performance. We are looking here at a new B48 2.0-liter turbo-four, closely followed by a higher B58 3.0-liter turbo inline six pot.

In the X3 M40i, the power output will be around 400 horsepower, which will be sent to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The G01 X3 M40i will also come with an xDrive all-wheel system as standard. Stay tuned for more details about the all-new SAV!

Besides the X3 M40i, the range will also comprise a plug-in hybrid version, consisting of a 2.0-liter petrol hooked to an electric motor and delivering a total of 340 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. As expected, an X3 M version, with around 422 horsepower, will also arrive later on.

Considered the spiritual successor of the 5-Series GT, the upcoming 2018 BMW 640xi Grand Turismo is confirmed to arrive on the US market this September, the model being completely new at the exterior as well as under the skin.

This means that in terms of design will come with a more sweeping roofline, with a more versatile design and more appealing body style than the current 5-Series. And since we know how the present 5-Series GT looks like, we surely expect a mind-blowing design for the 6-Series GT.

Following the footsteps of the G30 5-Series, the all-new G32 6-Series Gran Turismo will also stand on the company`s new CLAR (Cluster Architecture) modular platform, meaning steel, carbon fiber and aluminum composites altogether.

This means that it will be more lightweight with around 100 kg, will add increase space inside and more performance under the hood.

Performance wise, the all-new 2018 BMW 640xi Grand Turismo will come with a new 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine in the United States, with a power output of around 350 horsepower. This is the same one used on the 340i and 740i, meaning that it will come standard with the xDrive all-wheel drive layout.

In Europe, things will be looking different, the model packing a wide range of petrol burners and diesels, most of them identical to the ones used on the G30 5-Series.

The petrol pots will comprise the new BMW 630i, 640i and the M650i xDrive, with the latter one featuring a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8. The diesels will come with the 620d, 630d and the top of the line M650d xDrive variant which will feature a B57 quad-turbo pot.

Once arriving in dealerships across country, the BMW M2 Coupe Performance Edition will be available in a limited-run of just 150 vehicles, each one being priced at an MSRP of $61,695.

You can spot it under the code ZL9, the all-new 2017 M2 M Performance Edition coming with plenty of new features that will differentiate it from the stock model. We are looking here at a suite of M Performance Parts from BMW`s catalog, at the exterior as well as inside the cabin.

With BMW releasing the first details of their new 2018 4-Series Facelift, the German carmaker has recently announced the arrival of the range on American soil, with prices and specs to be released as well.

Even if we are not dealing here with lots of changes in terms of exterior design and new interior tweaks, the 2018 BMW 4-Series remains a fun car to drive, and with very competitive prices on the US market.

Starting this month, American customers will have the pleasure of buying the new 4-Series from at least $42,400 in the 2018 430i Coupe, with prices reaching high in the sky $48,700 in the 400i Coupe. Add another $2,000 and you could also get the xDrive variant.

On the other hand, with the summer soon arriving, customers could also opt for the convertible variants as well, but that means throwing in more cash. We are looking here at $50,500 for the 2018 430i Convertible and $57,500 for the 440i Convertible. Once again, if you opt for the xDrive system, then you will have to come out with another $2,000.

For that money, you get plenty of features to enjoy, starting with the exterior`s wide range of ten standard colours, adding lots of optional packages.

These packages include the Essentials, Premium, Luxury, M Sport as well as the Executive Package, each one coming with its own choice of standard options, including adaptive M Suspension, Head-Up Display, Wireless Charging, new Steering Wheel heating and so on.

From a visual standpoint, the entire 2018 4-Series range is also offered with full LED and Bi-LED as standard, adding as well LED taillights with the L-shape design. Ever since its first unveiling on the market in 2013, the gorgeous BMW M3 has been the delight of all BMW purists worldwide, and that thanks to its extraordinary design and advanced aerodynamics that allowed for impressive performance and torque.

And it was just about time the German carmaker added some new features to the newly unveiled BMW M3, which is actually a facelifted version of last year`s model. The new M3 will hit US dealerships this July, as a 2018 MY.

As we can depict from the pictures below, the 2018 BMW M3 facelifted is looking fresh with some new styling bits, which makes it even more attractive and appealing. Not to mention that mods have also increased the car`s aggressive stance.

For an untrained eye, the new 2018 M3 might look just about the same like the current model, but for a real connoisseur, the high-end sedan is more appealing with a much sportier front and rear end. At the front end, for instance, it has received new headlights and LED light bars which perfectly blend in with the kidney grille.

Inside, the cabin remains pretty much the same, the carmaker only adding the updated illuminated M3 logo on the driver`s and passenger seats.

The all-new Countryman lineup is MINI`s best-selling model for the last six years, all versions now coming available in the United States with interesting prices and exquisite features, and after the appreciation it had in Europe, it will definitely be a blow-up in the US as well.

“The MINI Countryman has been a top selling model since it was first introduced in 2010 and we expect this new generation will be even more popular with existing owners, while also attracting new customers to the brand,” Thomas Felbermair, Vice President MINI of the Americas, declared in an official interview.

Those looking to buy the 2017 MINI Countryman, will have it at their doors starting next March, with pre-orders to kick off much earlier.

The US prices start from $26,100 MSRP for the Cooper version, this one coming with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine, developing 124 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. In case this isn’t satisfying, then you can also get the Cooper ALL4, for $28,100.

Next in kin is the Cooper S with a $29,100 price tag for the 2WD version and $31,100 for the ALL4 variant. Both are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, with 189 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.

Also, customers looking for the plug-in hybrid version, must wait for the Cooper SE, kicking off next June, with prices to be revealed prior to its arrival in dealerships.

All versions share common features, such as the 6.5-inch high-resolution display for the MINI Connected infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats, Sensatec Leatherette Upholstery, Panorama Sunroof, keyless entry, parking sensors.
