With the newly introduced F30 BMW 3 Series, the Bavarians introduced a new ad campaign featuring the rather pleasant and well thought out “Joy” slogan.

The thing is, there are plenty of voices out there who aren’t very pleased by this move. BMW noticed this and hasn’t stood idly by.

They’ve decided to get back to their original punch line and once the upcoming ads start rolling in, BMW products will once again be advertised as the Ultimate Driving machines.

Now don’t worry about the simplicity of the situation as it’s not all over here. After a very successful 2011 in terms of luxury sales for the U.S. BMW is ramping up for an awesome 2012.

Since they plan to introduce no less than 14 new models this year, they will need a rollout of proper marketing aggression.

The first in a line of Ultimate Driving Machine commercials was recently introduced in the United States during the NFL playoffs, just the last weekend.

A video of that commercial is available below. Everything has been simplified but only to increase the enthusiasm of what’s coming.

In short, the new advertising company BMW hired, Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal & Partners, has set up laid out the ground rules of what’s to follow.

Nothing about this add praises the very special mix of features a BMW has and, instead, focus all efforts in a simple direction.

It seems that BMW doesn’t want to admit making anything other than the Ultimate Driving Machine. Or, in other words, it seems just about right.

Curious how the “Dream It. Build It. Drive It” program from BMW works? Martha Stewart was too since she accepted the invitation from the German car manufacturer to design her own ultimate BMW X3 SAV model with the help of the online tool found on the bmwusa.com website.

By using the “Build Your Own” tool you too will have access to a wide range of customization options for the BMW X3 and we’re talking about over 70 million standalone configurations. One thing’s for sure: there’s everything someone could want in those selections.

Back to Martha, she designed a X3xDrive35i and among her choices were a Sparkling Bronze Metallic exterior color (available among other two choices only for custom BMW X3 orders), a Fineline Wave Wood Interior Trim and Sand Beige Nevada Leather interior.

Also, the crew of “The Martha Steward Show” accompanied Martha to the Spartanburg BMW plant to witness the production of her BMW X3 model. While at the site, interviews were taken and everyone had a great time. Not only that, but Martha got to play with the Ultimate Driving Machine found at the BMW Performance Center.

BMW have officially launched the “The BMW Experience”, a special institution that will remind people why they are the best selling luxury company.

Access to such a treat as BMW offer in Munich is hard to find but you can get a totally different experience if you live in America that’s not in any way less interesting.

BMW are showing off their cars, their factory and pretty much every asset they have in Spartanburg County through special tours that can be taken individually or as a group where you get to experience “The Ultimate Driving Machine” in all of its aspects.

You can take a tour of the factory with a personal concierge, you can feast your eyes on the goodies within The BMW Performance Center and The BMW Zentrum while you’re at it. But if you feel that you have more of a get up and go attitude than there is a package that may interest you as well.

All the visits plus a 2-hour driving program which will put you through your paces towards becoming a person that can make proper use of a BMW. Future plans for this treat of an experience include adding to the offer of custom driving excursions, rare vehicle demonstrations and unique culinary events.
