The 2015 BMW 1-Series has popped-up in a rendering signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin, highlighting the sporty model, before its official unveiling next year, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

As opposed to other renderings, showcasing some models just in terms of visuals, the 2015 BMW 1-Series is coming big time, and might use some of the key components seen in the rendering.

We might be talking here about a model wearing some revised features at the front and rear end, headlights which will now come with full LED, or the front grille being downsized to perfectly fit the front fascia.

But the most important changes will be carried out under the hood, where the 1-Series is rumored to be equipped with some diesel and petrol burners, adding the three-cylinder configurations.

The new three-cylinder units will become available under the B37 and the B38 monikers, also found on the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, as well as on the MINI.

More than that, the BMW is also planning to use the four-cylinder options, for models like the 118d, the 120d, or the 125d, with power to range between 150 horsepower and 218 horsepower.

The high-performance BMW i8 is ending up in our news again, this time in a rendering recently launched online, showcasing the plug-in hybrid in a four-door body style.

The rendering is signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin and gives us a closer look on how the i8 model would look like in a four-door body.

The image with the four-door BMW i8 is based on the present i8 model and it is nothing more than a mere imagery exercise, as the model in question is unlikely to appear in the near future.

The BMW i8 plug-in hybrid began sales this summer, coming equipped with a 1.5-liter with three-cylinder turbocharged TwinPower Turbo petrol burner, backed by the BMW eDrive technology electric drive system.

The 1.5-liter unit develops 231 horsepower, while the electric drive provides an extra 131 horsepower, sending the power to the front wheels, allowing the car an all-electric range of up to 35 kilometers.

The BMW i8 plug-in hybrid is priced from $131,700, with some dealerships to ask an additional $100,000 over the MSRP, given the fact that a special edition of an i8 was recently sold out for a rough $825,000 in Pebble Beach.

The BMW X2 is ending up in our news again, with the model to be launched online in two new renderings signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin.

The BMW is continuously working on its compact crossover lineup, preparing to launch the future X2 model, especially since the sporty crossover was caught on shots while wearing some camouflage on public roads.

This time, the BMW X2 is not just a mere imagery exercise, as the model will eventually come, perhaps taking its inspiration from these two renderings, with the model to receive a sloping roof line in a three-door body.

Rumors say that the future BMW X2 will come with a front-wheel drive layout, presently found on the 2-Series Active Tourer.

The upcoming X2 will be based on the new-gen X1 as well, which is set to be launched in a few years, with the X2 following shortly.

In terms of technology, it would be logical that the BMW X2 will also come tweaked with the same gizmos inside as its bigger brother, the X1.

The 2017 BMW 6-Series was long rumored and after some reports announcing the arrival of the long-expected model, some renderings showed up on the web, showcasing the Gran Tourer.

We are talking about some renderings signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin, who tried to give us a closer look with the future 2017 BMW 6-Series Gran Tourer.

There is a mixture of design details to favor the Gran Tourer, details taken from the Gran Coupe, which includes a more inclined tailgate, fine glass surfaces, lower ride, but no roof track.

More than that, the 2017 BMW 6-Series Gran Tourer will offer a lot of luxury details inside, as well as some interesting tweaks, like the electric tailgate opening.

It is also said that the 2017 BMW 6-Series Gran Tourer will bear the names of G32 or the G33, being based on the 2016 G30 BMW 5-Series, the model also coming with some lightweight components that would make it lighter.

More details with the upcoming 2017 BMW 6-Series Gran Tourer will be known somewhere in 2017, when the model is rumored to be unveiled.

Based on BMW`s intention of launching a future X7 SUV in 2017, the model was already launched online in some renderings, by the famous Hungarian designer, Theophilus Chin, showing us how the future model would look like.

At a first glimpse, we might be talking here perhaps at the largest vehicle ever to be manufactured by the German based automaker, the huge SUV promising to be environmental friendly as well.

Arndt Ellinghorst, the chief of the ISI Group, stated that the X7 perfectly reflects the company`s dilemma, in terms of efficiency meeting consumerism, as the SUV in question will not be fuel-efficient.

On the other hand, representatives from the BMW Group have tried to make their own statement in defense, mentioning that the decision made of building up the X7 “is in accordance with the subject of sustainability”, the model being itself an efficient one.

Customers have different needs worldwide, especially in the US, where the X7 is expected to cope with the American drivers` needs, as they have always asked for a bigger X model, bigger than the X5 as well.

The BMW X7 would thus run against the Mercedes-Benz`s GL model, which is also a massive seven-seat SUV, weighing 2,455 kg and being 5.1 meters long.

Over the years, Theophilus Chin has provided the internet with quite a lot of renderings of cars, some more feasible than others.

And over the years, one thing has remained constant in his design: he really knows what he’s doing.

This latest of renderings in no different, in execution at least. Presenting us the option of a sedan BMW 1 Series, Theophilus does a good job of making it realistic. But is this just an exercise of imagination or could it really preview a new model?

Chances are that we won’t be seeing this sedan on the road too soon. As you might know, BMW has already expanded their vehicle lineup in order to cover more niches, and from this expansion, models like the 2 Series and 4 series emerged, not to mention the i sub-brand and the BMW-first front wheel drive Active Tourer. So is there any room left for a 1 Series sedan?

The hot 2015 BMW X6 has just been unveiled, but that didn’t stop the famous designer Theophilus Chin to launch online a rendering with the X6 coming in a Cabrio body-style.

Since this is just another example of the artistic type of Theophilus Chin, the BMW X6 Cabrio-style will never probably hit the production line.

To be a reminder though, the 2015 BMW X6 is coming big time, with a fresh body style, taking its looks from the X5 cousin.

Talking about tweaks at the exterior, we might looking here at a sportier body than the present model, including a pair of fresh 19-inch alloy wheels.

More than that, tweaks have also been added to the X6`s cabin, where the model now includes a dual-zone climate control, knee pads mounted on the center console and so on.

Since the trunk has now a wider space, this led to an increase in the engine lineup, meaning the presence of the X6 xDrive50i, the X6 xDrive30d, or the top of the line M50d.

It is also expected that the 2015 BMW X6 will be adding more units to the lineup, like the xDrive40, the xDrive35i or the sDrive35i.

The BMW`s long-expected Z2 model is more and more brought into the spotlights, this time with some first real renderings hitting the web.

We already know that the BMW German based automaker is on the verge of launching a Z2 entry-level roadster, and the renderings offered by the famous designer Theophilus Chin, help us get a closer look at the car.

Even if the company hasn’t yet announced the forthcoming of the Z2, the two renderings, being based on the Zagato Roadster Concept, basically show us how the roadster would look like.

As a general idea, the future BMW Z2 will ride on the same platform that the Z4 is already using and will be hinted at the now famous Mazda MX-5.

More than riding alongside the Z4, the Z2`s platform will have a front-wheel drive unit, the same that can also be seen on the 2014 MINI Cooper.

What we don’t know is the engine lineup that the Z2 will be using, but rumors state that there would be some 3- and 4-cylinder petrol units powering the roadster.

The BMW luxury automaker has recently launched the 2-Series Active Tourer and the Z2 roadster will be actually the second FWD version produced by the carmaker.
