The BMW X2 is ending up in our news again, with the model to be launched online in two new renderings signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin.

The BMW is continuously working on its compact crossover lineup, preparing to launch the future X2 model, especially since the sporty crossover was caught on shots while wearing some camouflage on public roads.

This time, the BMW X2 is not just a mere imagery exercise, as the model will eventually come, perhaps taking its inspiration from these two renderings, with the model to receive a sloping roof line in a three-door body.

Rumors say that the future BMW X2 will come with a front-wheel drive layout, presently found on the 2-Series Active Tourer.

The upcoming X2 will be based on the new-gen X1 as well, which is set to be launched in a few years, with the X2 following shortly.

In terms of technology, it would be logical that the BMW X2 will also come tweaked with the same gizmos inside as its bigger brother, the X1.

The upcoming BMW X1 is ending up in our news again, while spy photographers have caught the vehicle while undergoing some tests in camouflage.

The 2015 BMW X1 is ready to tackle the market at the end of the year, but before its launch, the German automaker wants to make sure that everything goes according as planned.

The spy shots revealing the 2015 BMW X1 all wrapped in camouflage are giving us a closer look on how the model would look like at the end, previewing the crossover with a revolutionary body, also seen on the company`s lineup.

Thus, we might state that the 2015 BMW X1 will be coming big time, with a plastic body cladding, a sloping roof line, a tailgate mounted spoiler as well as a dual exhaust system.

Under the hood, the 2015 BMW X1 is coming with an engine lineup, meaning a 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit, also found on the 2-Series Active Tourer, developing 136 horsepower.

The 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo will come with a higher power, which is somewhere between 184 horsepower and 231 horsepower, while the diesel 2.0liter four-cylinder will come up with 150 HP and 184 HP.

The next-gen BMW X1 will be also riding on the UKL platform, which is already used on the MINI Cooper and the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer.
