It looks like BMW is preparing some new models, as spy photographers from Inautonews online auto publication has caught on shots the BMW X1 and the so called FAST models, which were being tested out, both wearing camouflage as well.

Before moving to the BMW X1, let`s talk about the FAST, which might seem a little bit odd for some folks. The name stands for Family Active Sports Tourer, but it will bear a new name once it will be decided for production.

The BMW FAST is in fact an intercross between the X1 and other foreign models, like the Mercedes-Benz B-Class, Range Rover Evoque or the Audi A3 Sportback, eventually becoming a genuine MPV, making it cost more than the X1.

The BMW FAST will be riding on the company`s fresh UKL platform and will udnerpin the 1.5-liter three-cylinder with 136 horsepower, or the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo.

On the othr hand, the BMW X1 is not stranger to us, the model coming with an one-off design once it will loose the camouflage for good. Thus, we might see a wider body, with some new design features, like the sloping roofline, more imposing front grille, dual exhaust system or the tailgate mounted spoiler.

Both models are expected to enter production in 2016, but more information are set to be revealed later on.

Even if the BMW German based carmaker is fully loaded with all kinds of models being shown at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, it still has the strength of testing out different models before their final debut. It is also the case of the 2016 3-Series Sports Wagon (Touring) model, which has been caught on shots by the spy photographers from Motor Authority online auto magazine.

As seen in the shots, the 2016 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon (Touring) is wearing some camouflage, which means that it will sport some slight changes at the front and rear end, while the cabin will also add some new features, like the all improved infotainment system.

Under the hood, the 2016 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon will also bring improved performance, thanks to the new performance technology, like variable valve timing, turbo technology as well as improved fuel-injection.

We should expect a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit to be displayed on the new 3-Series, while the 3.0-liter six-cylinder might be also fitted on the model. As already mentioned previously, the 2016 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon (Touring) will also announce a series of new engines on its fresh models, the 330i and the 340i, which will replace the present 328i and the 335i versions.

As already foreseen, BMW will also introduced a hybrid 3-Series version, being powered by a four-cylinder unit and backed by an electric motor, which might develop 245 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

The upcoming generation of the long-rumored BMW 7-Series model, which will be launchd on the market as the 2016 model, was recently caught on shots by spy photographers from Inautonews.com online publication.

The shots were taking in Livigno, Italy and are showcasing a test mule with the 2016 7-Series model, which is set the bear some new design cues.

The 2016 BMW 7-Series is thus coming with lighter body components, as it will use some steel, carbon fiber and aluminum parts for improved performance and road efficiency.

However, there is little known about the powertrain under the hood, but reports state that the 2-16 BMW 7-Series will underpin a wide array of engines, starting with some 6-, 8- and 12-cylinder units fitting direct injection.

The 2016 BMW 7-Series would come out next year, while a plug-in hybrid version is also set to accompany the model. More details will be announced later on.

The 2016 BMW X4 M40i is fast approaching its official unveiling on the market, but apparently, a prototype of the model was recently caught on shots while performing some tests at the Nurburgring.

What is interestingly enough, this particular prototype will come with the same features as the 2016 BMW X4 M40i, meaning front bumper and rear dual tailpipes and white diffuser.

Some slight different changes than the standard model, refer to the M Performance wheels, lowered suspension, as well as beefed up brakes.

Apart from that, a similarity with the upcoming M2 is found under the hood, where the prototype will come with the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit, which will deliver the same 370 horsepower.

The 2016 BMW X4 M40i is said to be the most powerful and high-performance version from all versions being built up so far, but that before a genuine M-powered version will have emerged on the market.

The upcoming BMW X7 SUV has been recently caught on shots by spy photographers and if the model doesn’t look like a real SUV, is because it might stand on the body of the 2016 7-Series.

The BMW X7 SUV will come into the market as a 2016 model and it seems that will resemble the 2016 BMW 7-Series model, at least this is what the camouflage is trying to tell us.

The 2016 BMW X7 will use a lot of aluminum and carbon fiber components, weighing the same as the present X5 model and being wider than the present model.

The wider and larger 2016 BMW X7 will compete against the already announced Mercedes-Benz GL-Class in Europe, while in the US, the upcoming X7 will battle the Cadillac Estate and the Infiniti QX80.

The 2015 BMW X7 is rumored to be launched at the end of the 2015, with a complete details list to be launched at that moment.

The BMW 2-Series Family Tourer is ending up in our news again in new shots, while the model was seen on public roads, during some tests.

The BMW German based automaker is trying to consolidate its 2-Series lineup, by adding a new model, the Family Tourer, which will stand on the same platform as the current Active Tourer.

The BMW 2-Series Family Tourer will resemble its sibling Active Tourer, with some slight modifications at the back, as the model in question will be coming in a 7-seat version.

The two extra seats at the back will be destined for children only, as the space will not allow enough space for adult passengers.

The future BMW 2-Series Family Tourer will be a little bit longer and taller at the rear, also to use the same engine lineup found on the same Active Tourer model.

We are talking about a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel units, while the range topping 2.0-liter unit, will develop 231 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, the engine being hooked to an all-wheel drive, in the 228i xDrive.

The BMW 2-Series Family Tourer will be perhaps unveiled at the end of the year, with future details to be known at that moment.

The BMW German based automaker is apparently working on a new-gen 1-Series, as the test mule with the model was caught on shots while driving on public roads.

If tests go well with the BMW 1-Series facelift, we should expect it on the market in the upcoming months, after the model would be officially unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October.

The need for a 1-Series facelift is to launch a high-end hatchback model that would complete the 1-Series lineup models.

We are talking here about some interesting updates that BMW would put on the 1-Series, like the company`s Life Cycle Impulse package, adding the Air Curtain components, from the 3-Series, alongside a revised front grille and new taillights.

Inside, the BMW 1-Series facelift is also expected to come with some minor changes too, while under the hood, the BMW automaker is well-known for powering its models with a performance engine lineup, which is also the case here.

More details with the BMW 1-Series will be revealed this October, when the model is expected to face public judge, in Paris.

The 2016 BMW 2-Series Active Tourer 7-seater was caught on shots while undergoing some tests on the track at Nurburgring.

We are looking here at the very first BMW model to ever sport a front-wheel drive layout, making its worldwide debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, this March, and making its presence in Europe this summer.

The 2016 BMW 2-Series Active Tourer is the first model from its series to sport a lot of comfort inside, combined with an exquisite design and functionality, worthy of its brand.

Talking about space and comfort, we might be talking about a resized vehicle, with the 2-Series Active Tourer now measuring 4,342 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,555 high, offering the same space as the company`s X models.

The model caught here on shots is a BMW 2-Series Active Tourer with seven seats, but the company will also offer a five seater, the model being offered with a choice of an all-wheel drive layout as well.

In order to make things complete with the 2016 BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, the carmaker has equipped the model with three engines, all of them being fuel-efficient and sporting four-cylinder drive units.

All of them are also equipped with the BMW`s TwinPower Turbo technology, being in accordance with the EU6 emissions standard in Europe, as well as in the US, where the model will be also present, starting next year.

After the BMW X6M was caught on shots while performing some tests on the roads, now it is time for the little brother X5M to be shot for the same purpose.

The 2015 BMW X5M model was also caught while undergoing some road tests, with the SAV revealing its true shapes.

As seen in the shots, the 2015 BMW X5M is reborn from the ashes, coming with completely new front and rear bumpers, new quad exhaust outlets, larger brakes and wheels and other changes.

More than that, the 2015 BMW X5M has also received some tuning treatment, coming with a modified suspension system, as well as a wheel and tire special package, that would make the car lighter.

Under the hood, tweaks are also brought to the X5M`s engine, as it has now received the M Driver`s Package, making the SAV run the 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds, due to the 4.4-liter V8 unit, which now develops 555 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.

The 2015 BMW X5M is rumored to make public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October, and more details will be known at that point.

Spy photographers from Inautonews online magazine have managed to catch the upcoming BMW X6M on shots, while undergoing some tests on public roads.

The 2015 BMW X6M is in the spotlights again, while being on some public roads, bearing some light camouflage at the same time.

The body style of the 2015 BMW X6M reveals a few changes, however it still bears similarities with its little brother, the X5M, due to come on the market later on.

The 2015 BMW X6M is tweaking a revised front kidney grille, new bumpers at the front and rear, fresh taillights and other new styling features as well.

Since there are no details concerning the cabin of the X6M, we do know a few things about the power that the model will be coming with.

We are talking about the same 4.4-liter V8 unit also seen on the new X5M, developing a total output of 547 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque.
