After shooting some promos at the Sochi Winter Olympics, the BMW German based manufacturer is switching to films, with the revival of an old short series – “The Hire”.

Just 13 years ago, the short series of “The Hire” revealed a Clive Owen actor into his rising age piloting BMW units, which made the films be an instant hit on the future rising YouTube, with more than 100 million views.

The revival of the series was also confirmed by Trudy Hardy, the Chief Marketing Officer at BMW. As for what the series will bring fresh, it will all be kept secretly, as we don’t know anything about the future pilot, the future BMW products to be used or the story plot.

A lot of film directors have contributed to the old series` script, like Tony Scott, John Wo, Ang Lee or John Frankenheimer.

It doesn’t matter who will be running the series, aswhen it comes to the hot BMWs to be used in the upcoming series, we might speculate on the new products to be brought into the spotlights again.

Perhaps the top of the line fine products of the German automaker like the 4 Series, the 6 Series Gran Coupe or the i3 city car and i8 hybrid will be running the show.

Yes, it’s closer and closer so another set of spy photos appeared on the internet. You probably got bored but if you want to buy such a car, I recommend you to watch each spy photo to find out any detail about this car.

I noticed a thing talking about the camouflage: on 2010 BMW 5 Series they are sticking the stickers the same way. To make you notice that, I put a spy photo from another set of images (see the last thumbnail). After many talks about this new 2010 BMW 5 Series, they even made a codename for this car: F10.

The base model of the new 2010 BMW 5 Series will be packed with a 2.5 liter engine while the most powerfull model will be packed with a 4.8 liter engine wich will make this car to fly. Yes, another spy photos of the great 2011 BMW 5 Series were taken. The shots were taken on a rain so the interior photos are not so clear because there are drop of waters on the windows. The exterior is camouflaged only with stickers but at the interior there are some plastic camouflage accesories and also stickers.

Even if the interior is camouflaged, we can imagine how it will look bacuase the interior of the last generation BMW cars look the same. A lot of design parts and features from 2011 BMW 5 Series will be borrowed from BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo and the current BMW 7 Series.

Probably this 2011 BMW 5 Series was standing in the same park lot as this BMW X3. Even if it is pretty much camouflaged, the 2011 BMW 5 Series looks very attractive. Probably in the future some photographers will capture the 2011 BMW 5 Series with no camouflage because we know that this is possible and it happened before with other BMW cars.

BMW 5 Series Sedan is a class leader being at the same time a very important car from BMW but at the same popularity is the Touring Wagon that we talked about few weeks ago. These spy photos caought the 5 Series Sedan with few camouflage sticks and from what I see, nothing else.

It’s supposed to have an 8 speed transmission with automatic shifter gearbox. There is a very cool option that you can make when you buy a 2010 BMW 5 Series Sedan: the all wheel drive. We know that this option is made particular for SUVs. Anyway, it’s useful at 2010 BMW 5 Series Sedan too because for example, when you get stuck into a hole with the front wheels, you have traction also on the rear wheels.

The 2010 BMW 5 Series Sedan will debut at the next Geneva Auto Show on 2010 March and will be avialable for everyone in early 2011. Anyway, my prefered 5 Series still remains the Gran Turismo.

BMW really wants to raise the manufacturing started by employing more workers in BMW Plants and started making new BMW models: first was 2011 BMW 0 Series (you can see a sketch here) and now they are making an 8 Series. At the 8 Series they really developed the ideea and there are a lot of real photos, not just sketches.

It’s not official, but some rumors say that 2010 BMW 8 Series will be released in 2010 and from what I think, it will be at the end of the year because they just released the news that this car will be built. Under the hood is said that will be a 6.0 liter V12 engine or a V8 just like on the next M5.

BMW reported that there will be no M version of 2010 BMW 8 Series wich from my thoughts, this car is awesome just the way it is; 2010 BMW 8 Series doesn’t need any power upgrade. I’m disappointed to see that there is no talk about a hybrid version of 2010 BMW 8 Series. Anyway, there is no doubt that 2010 BMW 8 Series will make part of the next BMW generation.

Earlier last week, the news were released on internet: BMW 1 Series is about to be built in China. The news appeared in China Car Times and this is about to happen in the next years. More exactly, this can become reality at the begining of the next year. There is a big minus in this work, namely that the prices will grow up influenced by the import costs.

At the moment, 120i (MT/AT) and 130i (AT) are imported to China and the 120i with manual and automatic gearbox transmission will be built in China after this move. The 130i will not be built in China and will remain an imported model. The imported 1 Series will cost around 270,000 yuan ($39,557) but you know that the price depends on specifications thate you make when you buy a car.

The news that appeared on the internet doesn’t say what are the reasons that BMW will make this move but from my opinion, this is a very bad idea.

It is kind of shocking but at the same time, great news. Yes, BMW is about to launch 0 Series in 2011. I’m very surprised, I didn’t expect at a 0 Series but I thinked about 2 Series, 4 Series, 8 Series and so on but not 0 Series. 2011 BMW 0 Series will be based on the Mini platform.

Under the BMW 0 Series’s hood will be a 3 cylinder and a 4 cylinder. These will be probably build at Oxford such as BMW Mini’s engines. The release date is not so sure, it varies between 2011 and 2013. 2011 BMW 0 Series will be a direct competitor to Audi A1 and Mercedes Benz A Class.

The car is pretty short, it looks like 1 Series but with 2 doors and of course, shorter. Probably that’s why they will build 0 Series on Mini platform; it will have probably the same sizes as a Mini. I think 2011 BMW 0 Series will be just a very powerfull city car but is not properly to the highway.

A tuning firm from Germany, namely Miranda Series has made a tuning package for BMW E92 Coupe. This tuning package, you can name it Red Devil, contains AC Schnitzer front and rear spoilers, a carbon fiber rear, a carbon fiber strut brace, a stainless steel sports exhaust system.

About the suspension sistem we can say that it was upgraded to Bilstein coilover suspension… The tuning package features also 19′ inch wheels at the rear wrapped with 235/35-19 and 305/25-19 tires respectively.

I can say that the Miranda Series tuner made a great work. The design looks beautiful and I think they added the suitable parts.

BMW seems to be getting a lot of awards lately. At the Mondial de l’Automobile 2008 from Paris, the Mini Cooper and the 5 Series were declared the Most Appealing Compact Car and Most Appealing Midsized Premium Car.

Apparently, all of the BMW customers are happy with their decision of buying such a vehicle and more and more cars are getting prestigious awards in their class. BMW knows how to please their clients while earning awards for the reliability of their cars, looks and even for turning green. At this point, BMW has nothing to complain of and everything is going more than perfect.

BMW manages to get great scores for they new concepts and as a company.
