So BMW has to come up with the ultimate fighting machine, and we have reason to believe that the expectations would be far beyond our rational reasons.

So here we are, two years from now, when BMW will present the new X7 SUV, precisely at the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018. Rumored to be codenamed the G07, the 2017 BMW X7 will be the most luxurious and most expensive model that BMW has ever had, with the base price being settled at around $140.000. Sure, the SUV`s real value would be eventually priced from $90.000 and up to $140.000 when you opt for all option.

Another important fact is that the 2017 BMW X7 will share the same architecture and engine lineup as its recent followers, the BMW X5 and BMW X6 (30d, 35d, 40d, 50d, 50i). Additionally, the X7 will also add a V12 engine (as rumors say), which would be the top of the line powertrain, even if the German based carmaker stopped using equipping its fleet with engines that exceed the V8 configuration (4.4-liter engines).

The 2016 BMW 7 Series is back with the latest news, the model being recently rendered wearing a Convertible body style for the first time. It is such a dream car!

There are rumors according to which BMW is preparing a Convertible version of 7 Series flagship, the model being reported to enter production next year. This would be the first 7 Series Convertible from BMW`s entire history that would suit its finest clientele.

We all know that all-new BMW 7 Series (6th generation) was officially unveiled on June 10th under the G11/G12 codename. The G11 is the short entry-level version, while the G12 is the long wheelbase one. And the BMW 7 Series Convertible is also rumored to be called the G13 or the G14.

Exterior Design

The spectacular BMW 7 Series Convertible presented in this article is wearing the M Sport package, with body parts that include the M front bumper, M side-skirts, M rear bumper, as well as the M badges on the wings. Other features make reference to the new headlights, which are now coming with a sportier and straight-up look, while the side mirrors provide the same sportier feel.

The exterior design of the BMW 7 Series Convertible is exactly appeal to a rich man who wants a car with maximum of luxury and technology (BMW 7 Series is BMW’s flagship), but that in the same time with a sportier appearance. After all, we are dealing here with a manhood kind-of-a-car.

Powertrains

After the BMW i5 hydrogen-cell based model was recently rumored, as a future alternative to battery packs, the model in question has also appeared online in some renderings, previewing the third-generation electric model.

We are talking about the 2017 BMW i5 model which will come with some slight changes at the body, compared with the i3, which perhaps was an inspiration for the i3. Resemblances in the design cues are heavily present.

Representatives at BMW stated that the BMW i5 will be a little bigger and with a higher mile range than the present i3, but for now, the model is still in a development phase.

In terms of visuals, as seeing from the renderings, the model will come with a modified body, by extending the roof and the floors. More, the rear door structure will also be reshaped to facilitate the access of the rear passengers.

As for the powertrain under the hood, the 2017 BMW i5 will come with the same AC synchronous electric motor, developing 170 horsepower, with the REx model to be offered also.

The carmaker says that the battery will also come with some improvements, meaning that a much larger lithium-ion battery pack will be fitted on the model, leading to an increase of 200-mile driving range.

The updated version of the 2012, the BMW`s X1 was unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, and now the German auto maker is already working on a secret model which would come available in 2016.

The 2016 X1 prototype seen in the shots seems to be shorter than the present model, coming with a sportier body styling.

More than that, the 2016 BMW X1 is also shorter at the front end because of the fresh new platform that lies beneath the car.

Also, the upcoming X1 is also likely to sport the UKL platform which is also put on the 2014 MINI Cooper. Thus, we might be talking about a front-wheel drive system due to the Haldex-style multi-plate clutch setup.

Thus, both the BMW X1 and the next MINI Cooper Countryman will be riding on the same front-wheel system, with an optional of an all-wheel drive unit.

The German luxury auto maker is also believed to be working on a straight-six engine that can be mounted transversely, which is mandatory for UKL platform, but there is no news about it being fit to the next-gen X1.

The fifth generation of 4-Series Convertible from BMW is now on the roads with better looks than the coupe, due to its retractable roof that best fits the description of a trunk-like profile.

The 2014 BMW 4 Series is redesigned to offer unique styling features like the vents in the front fenders, named “air breathers”, which work hand in hand with the air curtains in the front fascia, and also the design at the rear that helps the car reduce drag.

Inside, the interior sports new features like integrated front seatbelts and the cluster of three buttons in front of the armrest: two for the neck warmers and one for operating the roof.

There is also a mixture of soft leather texture along with some plastic features, but the BMW also offers stitched leather dash as optional.

As for the engine under the hood, the 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible sports a relatively easy 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, delivered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter unit.

But the car runs so smoothly on the roads that you can`t end up loving the great looking convertible. Just enjoy the video and tell us if we were right or wrong about the car!

Don’t we all love the F30 3 Series? Since we definitely do, derivatives like the upcoming F82 BMW M4 Coupe will always fascinate us.

Which is why we keep seeing spyshots and hearing rumors about it. It’s also why people spend a lot of time to create renders of what they reckon it will look like.

What can I say, the images look great, the concept behind them and the execution are just as impressive and in the end that’s not the most important bit of the discussion.

As we’ve gotten used to, the guys at F30post showcased their knowledge of the M4’s performance and technical feats alongside the new images.

Most importantly, the engine is what we all want to know about. It seems that initial rumors of it having around 450 horsepower are not true.

In truth, the “multi-turbo” 3.2 liter inline six cylinder engine will only develop around the same sort of horsepower as the outgoing naturally aspirated V8.

The true gain will be in the torque figure which will grow significantly. What we should expect is around 420 horsepower and 395 lb-ft.

Electric power steering will make its way through, but BMW promise it will be reworked specifically for this car in order to achieve even better feedback.

What is particularly interesting is that it seems the M3 and the M4 will both retain the manual gearbox. We’re yet to find out if this is an option or standard feature.

Finally, there’s a bit of a disappointment as the F80 M3 (the sedan) will be coming out in late 2013 at the best with the F82 M4 coming in a year later.

The BMW i8’s time in concept stage is coming to an end. The production version of the hybrid supercar is bearing down on the final stages of development.

This must be the sort of motivation that gave Sonny Lim the inspiration to come up with some pretty realistic renderings of what the final version of the i8 will look like.

Sonny Lim is a designer who actually knows his way round the Bavarian brand, as he was senior designer for BMW DesignWorks.

The second you take a look at the renderings you realize that you’re dealing with the BMW i8. Which is a great thing, the design language is still there.

Some of the edges have been smoothed out and some of the lines are missing but that’s simply for practical reasons.

After all, the car needs to be produced, it needs to meet certain production tools and mold tolerances and, of course, it needs to meet certain pedestrian legislation standards.

Underneath the look we find that the production version of the BMW i8 we find a slightly shorter wheelbase and it’s estimated to weigh in at just under 3.200 pounds.

Don’t worry though, the 1.5 liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine unit and an electric motor combo is still there. It’s still going to be rated at a smudge under 400 horsepower and just over 400 lb-ft of torque.

Overall, in terms of proportions and original principles, the BMW i8 will remain the same as the concept.

The actual specifications and such may be slightly different but we’re almost certain the changes will be minute and that none of them will be easily spotted.

I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve heard something about the F30 BMW 3 Series. I’d really like to deliver some but there aren’t any around.

Not only are the winter holidays slowing down the whole process both in and around the automotive industry but there’s something in the F30 box.

Something very interesting, as it’s a set of renderings of what the F30 BMW M3 Coupe could end up looking like. We’re not talking about a cartoon but something pretty believable.

They were drawn up by Iacoski Design and by the look of it they could make the news any day.

Despite the speculation part and the fact that a real F30 BMW M3 Coupe won’t be ready for us for at least a year from now, you can’t help but look can you?

The instantly recognizable F30 BMW 3 Series coupe, the more aggressive body kit, the carbon fiber roof, the aero mirrors, massive brakes and wheels, they all fit in beautifully.

In regards to the performance aspects of the BMW M3 Coupe, things are at the moment so unclear it’s almost pointless to even continue the speculation.

Will it be powered by a straight or a V six cylinder engine? Will it have two or three turbochargers? Will it have a manual transmission option?

Not really relevant so now, we’ll eventually find that out but by then we’ll clearly enjoy the actual looks of the car and not the renderings available from independent sources.

We still expect this particular rendering to be very close to the real thing albeit possibly toned down as BMW’s M3 will be less flared.

I have to tell you that this is more a test of the content-aware fill feature of the new Adobe Photoshop CS5 that is going to come but we are very interested about the thing that they tested this on namely a 2011 BMW X3. As you can see, this is also a realistic rendering because at the begining, this was a camouflaged 2011 BMW X3 but with that new feature, they made a realistic rendering as you can see.

This 2011 BMW X3 will come with a 3.0 liter in-line 6 cylinder engine which can develop up to 230 horsepower which is quite ok for this 2011 BMW X3.

There are also some chances that this 2011 BMW X3 to come with a 3.0 liter twin-turbo in-line 6 cylinder engine which will be able to develop up to 300 horsepower which would probably be the most powerful choice.
