The all-new BMW M3 (Codenamed G80) is here with improvements in every department. The M3 looks a lot like the basic BMW 3 series, but it packs the performance required of a race-car driver. That is evident from the fact that BMW has decided to keep the manual transmission in the mix for those of us who love shifting gears.

The 2021 BMW M3 will have the same 3.0-liter inline-6 engine found in the latest Supra. This engine, with the help of intelligent tuning, will make 473 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, while even better tuning will extract 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque from this engine for the M3 Competition.

The M3 Competition is a step further up the ladder when it comes to performance. It’s specifically built for those of you who are looking for some track frenzy. That’s especially true given that the Competition version gets an 8-speed transmission and all-wheel drive to go with the better-tuned engine.  

BMW is offering extra performance packages as well to enhance the abilities of the M3. Buyers can opt for the ceramic brake package, for example, to improve track performance.

In terms of looks, the new BMW M3 does not look much different than its predecessor. The same goes for the interior as the M3 follows in the footsteps of the BMW 3 series. There are a few tweaks made here and there, but the 2021 M3 gets the same interior as the top of the line 3 series. There is a 12.3-inch massive infotainment screen that blends into the dash. The user can control it using buttons and knobs placed right beneath the screen in the center console.

BMW adds safety just like they add power to their cars, and as a result, the BMW M3 gets several driver-assist and safety features.

The M3 has adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keeping assist among more.

The base BMW M3 G80 starts at $71,895, while the M3 Competition is a few thousand dollars expensive at $73,795.

It has been a while since we last heard about the upcoming G30 BMW 5-Series, the long-expected model that is set to come with the latest technology in terms of design, features inside and powerful engines under the hood.

Even if the model has been seen so far in only spy photos, there were little known about the model so far concerning the design and styling until recently, the carmaker launching a bunch of teaser photos and a video which highlight the car`s advanced lighting at the front and rear.

The teaser images and the video showcase thus the car`s front new headlights which resemble those of the all-new 3-Series, being however much bigger. The lights are also envisioning an eyebrow flowing down the side of the car`s bespoke kidney front grille.

The carmaker`s is also teasing the car`s new taillights with a chrome finish, as well as the overall design shape, which makes it extremely aggressive and evolutionary.

As we already know, the all-new BMW G30 5-Series will be riding on the company`s new CLAR architecture, the same one underpinning the 7-Series and other new models with the group, meaning that it will feature lightweight materials, such as carbon fiber, high-strength steel and magnesium.

This would shed off around 100 kg and would improve the car`s performance and handling. Other standout features also include autonomous technologies and an improved engine lineup under the hood, with four- and six-cylinder configurations.

Every M model within the BMW lineup deserve a convertible version and the real proof stands the BMW M4, this one coming with a soft-top roof version as well, and I have to admit that it looks fantastic.

Rumos with the upcoming of an M2 Convertible have been circulating on the web for some time now, and recently, a batch of images with the so called future model have been released online via Autoblog.

Of course that these are not real images, and were generated via a special computer program, but they are somehow connected to what an insider has claimed that the model would look like this.

This might come as a surprise to you, but allegedly, the aforementioned images are also the very foundation of what internationals within the group have talked and discussed.

With all that, representatives from BMW claim that there is no possibility of a future BMW M2 Convertible, at least not for now. This was declared back in February, with Frank Isenberg, BMW executive, denying the existence of an M2 Convertible. The reason is revealed from his own words below.

“There will not be an M2 Convertible. We need to keep it as purist as we did with the 1 Series M Coupe. We’ve got such a nice M235i Convertible. And convertibles are not for racetracks, they’re for cruising. You can take that car on a racetrack as well, but you wouldn’t choose it for a track day. That’s the reason why we said no [to an M2 Convertible].”

If, and only if, this were to happen, the BMW M2 Convertible would come without the standard roof and B-pillar, modified rear end to sustain the rood folding and some other slight body styling modifications.

Do you really think that BMW will eventually roll-out an M2 Convertible? From what I can recall, the M4 Convertible was also a secret plan, kept almost until its final release.

Ever since its official unveiling at Laguna Seca, back in February, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe has been the star of endless reviews, drive tests, drag races and many, with the model being exclusively built in a limited edition of around 5.000 cars for a period of five years.

Now, the 2016 M2 Coupe has reached the shores of South Africa, with a lot of journalists to perform additional drive tests in order to experience the car`s maneuverability and high-performance driving dynamics.

As we already know, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe comes with an extremely hot and aggressive attitude, thanks to the M Performance Parts, highlighted by the wide air intakes, M gills, M tailpipes exhaust system or the 19-inch M double-spoke design wheels.

The M2 Coupe is also looking elegant with the BMW Twin circular headlights, air curtains in the outer air intakes or large front apron with the trapezoidal blades.

The interior is also highlighted by the M logo, like the M footrest and knee pad on the center console, M sports seats, M gearshift lever and door sills as well as the Alcantara blue stitching steering wheel with the shift paddles.

Under the hood, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe in South Africa will use the same 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine, developing 272 kW and 500 Nm of torque, enough for a 4.3 second-sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, via a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission. The topping also stands at an electronically limited 250 km/h. Besides the powerful engine and output, the model also comes with a lightweight aluminum M Sport suspension system which ensures all the necessary ingredients for the perfect ride.

BMW is definitely proud to have built the BMW X5, which is considered one of the best SUVs built in the entire world, standing side-by-side with the X6 model. And BMW is also proud to have witnessed a real aftermarket transformation for the X5, the SUV receiving some cool set of wheels and a few body style tweaks.

The F15 BMW X5 all wrapped in the Alpine White exterior finish, has been fitted with a set of one-off wheels from Vossen Wheels tuning division, but the installation was carried out by the guys from Exclusive Motoring aftermarket shop. We are talking about the Vossen VFS2 wheels, which comes win sizes of 20- and 22 inches, front and rear.

The Vossen VFS2 wheels are finished in a gold and matte graphite color, being built with the flow forming process, providing thus the X5 with an exquisite design and strengthening the forged-like rim barrel, thanks to the aluminum grain-structure.

Apart from the Vossen wheels being fitted under the hood, there were no upgrades carried out under the hood or the body style, the model keeping the evolutionary design lines and exquisite interior, with high-end materials, the LED screen, the sports seats and steering wheel, which combined, provides the X5 with a sporty design. The one-off F80 BMW M3 all wrapped with the BMW`s gorgeous Alpine White exterior finish, has recently received a new set of customized wheels from the famous HRE Wheels tuning division, which provides wheeling solution for a lot of BMW models.

We are talking here about the HRE Classic 301M Wheels, finished in Brushed Titanium and which provides the model an astonishing look and great stance. Other than the visual standpoint, the forged wheels are highly performance, due to their lightweight properties, which makes it quite steady on the roads or tracks.

The 2015 BMW M3 Sedan was first launched in 2013 and is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six-cylinder unit.The engine produces a good 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, available between 1,850 rpm and 5,500 rpm, with the power to be sent to the rear wheels with the help of a six-speed manual, or a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.

The new-generation BMW M3 Sedan is thus said to be powerful enough, as it managed to score higher than the official time, which reached the 100 km/h mileage in 4.1 seconds, at a top speed of 270 km/h. Now that BMW have unveiled their latest moment of pride from the M division, the F12/F13 M6, we expect to get more and more info on it for a few days.

The first bundle of interesting stuff available on the new BMW M6 comes in the form of two new driving videos, some added technical details and some new photos.

Beginning with the easiest to follow, the two videos feature the coupe and convertible M6 drive along side each other, through beautiful scenery.

Sounds like the perfect recipe, but there are a few problems to deal with. First off, there’s just 30 seconds a pop for the videos, which is nowhere near enough for us M6 hungry folk.

And then there’s some music instead of engine notes to deal with. Not cool BMW, we expected a better approach on that front.

The photos will meet you later toward the end of the article and the added details are some of the most anal stuff you can talk about when it comes to a car.

Both the F12/F13 BMW M6 will feature 15.7 inch brake rotors with six piston calipers at the front and 15.6 inch ones with at the back. The steering feel promises to be as good as the M5.

This happens thanks to an adjustable speed-sensitive power steering that has words like Servotronic and M-specific in the description. Finally, we get to a less than pretty set of details.

It may feature weight saving gimmicks like carbon fiber reinforced plastics in the bodywork, carbon ceramic brakes and so on, but the F12/F13 BMW M6 is still a pretty heavy car.

The Coupe weighs in at 4.078 lbs and the Convertible is fatter still at 4.365 pounds.

It’s unbelievable just how privileged some people can be at times. While most of us still think of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe as a concept, one of the first ones was spotted out on the streets.

The imagery came courtesy of bimmertoday.de with the location being Augsburg, Germany.

Not even the incredibly boring and faded silver metallic paint chosen for this specific model was capable of fending off the eye of the BMW connoisseur and even if you weren’t one, you’d have a hard time not noticing it.

Grabbing a set of photos take under normal conditions and left unaltered generally tends to showcase some less than beautiful lines of the car, lines you would otherwise be unlikely to see.

That’s not the case with the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.

What you saw in the studio pics is what you get here and despite the unfriendly season, the driver of this particular 6 Series Gran Coupe has kept it almost perfectly clean. Makes it a lot easier to enjoy.

The onlooker didn’t take any pictures of the interior, or, if he did, they weren’t good enough for a release but we are told that the seat layout seems usable. Not exactly a major concern, but still important as the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is claimed to have a 4+1 seat layout.

This means 4 adults should be able to sit comfortably in it with a small child being seated in between the rear armchairs.

BMW’s brand new 6 Series Gran Coupe is going to treat us to a few new photos of itself and some extra details, one of which is quite important.

Being a pretty entrant to the four door coupe market, the new pictures of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe are certainly welcome.

The most important new detail that’s available now is that we have an official pricing idea of what the Gran Coupe would be stuck with.

BMW have released the 6 Series Gran Coupe price list on the German website and things look pretty good. At a starting price of €83.000 the new four door coupe is just €4.800 more than the equivalent 6 Series.

In American dollars, that comes in at around 110.000 and the difference translates into just under 6.300 so the doors aren’t exactly cheap over in Bavaria.

Engine wise the same options are available so you can pick between the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe 640i, 640d and 650i. So far, only the last one gets the option of an xDrive all wheel drive system.

Obviously the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is our favorite in terms of four door coupes but there’s a bit of a problem with the pricing here.

The main rivals you’d think of would definitely be the Audi A7 Sportback and the Mercedes CLS but they’re both considerably cheaper.

Sure, the image factor here really stands out but the only way we can justify the price difference so far is that the Bavarians are aiming to be somewhere between the CLS and the likes of the Porsche Panamera.

BMW fans always love M cars but let’s face it, they’re not for everyone. If a budget worries you or the performance terrifies you or any other reason may come between you and owning an M5 in particular, then you should worry no more.

As BMW are working on getting you half way there with a M-Sports package for your nice simpler and more affordable BMW 5 series.

The 5 Series is pretty much available at dealers round the world so this special option is almost here but for now it’s going to be hidden under specific BMW camouflage.

As previous M-Sports packages have shown us and as these photos are hinting, this prototype suggests that the new model will receive a deeper front air-dam with larger intakes, side sill extensions and a re-contoured back bumper to accommodate the larger the tailpipes.

Besides what’s visible here, a M-Sports package for a BMW will offer you some trim upgrades like aluminum or carbon-fiber, some M badges everywhere along with more aggressive sport seats and perhaps a different steering wheel.

There are a few mechanical components of serious importance to come along with this package such as, wheels, tires and suspension or brake packages.
