BMW i3 is now on its final stretch to reach dealerships, and yet not many pictures are out there of the electric city car.

Those that we do know, are few and overused, and fresh snaps are dearly needed.

And thanks to the Pebble Beach event and a industrious photographer, we got what we needed. Not only do we have a new take on the BMW i3 with these photos, but it seems this particular unit also sports a different body paint. The color seems to be Arravani Grey, the nuance that BMW designed especially for the small city car.

As a reminder, the BMW i3 is the first car to use full CFRP passenger cell, making for a lighter frame with slightly increased strength. The price will start at 41.350 USD, but since most country will give certain incentives, you can expect to pay less for it.

The BMW i3 will be reaching the roads sometime next year, and we should expect more pictures and details to surface until then.

The special project born of Pininfarina and BMW was first revealed to the world at the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

While it did turn plenty of heads, the Gran Lusso Coupe certainly wasn’t the best in the show, with so many rare cars also making an appearance.

Now plans are for the Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe to cross the ocean and arrive in North America, where it will be showcased in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This is another chance for the Gran Lusso to prove its worth, and show to the world that BMW collaborated with Pininfarina for a good reason.

The unique BMW will be presented at the Concept Car Lawn, for those that will be there. As a reminder, BMW gave Pininfarina free hand to do what they wanted, and they were not disappointed. While the Italian imprint is quite obvious, the Gran Lusso Coupe still ended up feeling as much as a Bimmer as any other.

There’s little doubt that the BMW – Zagato deal is one of the few collaborations BMW got to recently that isn’t all about the dreary figures and business.

The stunningly designed coupe just looks right and most of us would kill to have one in their drive. Those who aren’t on this camp have just one moan about it.

It’s a coupe and it’s pretty much a one off so there’s none of that open car thrill about it. Well, those voices are now to be silenced.

That’s because the Bavarians came to some sort of important event in the United States last weekend happening at Pebble Beach with a special car.

Having been named the BMW Zagato Roadster, there’s not too much room for surprises. The chosen title would’ve done the same thing, probably.

Either way, the car makes no excuses about what it is. The most important bit of the equation is the fact that the roof can now be folded away.

Actually, we’re not sure about that since we’ve yet to see it in action or with the roof up at all. Do people really care?

If the coupe is the sort of car that made people become hitmen just to have a chance at owning one, the roadster is going to push people into the territory of political assassination.

Sure, some critical world leaders may die and world peace could be compromised but at least you have a shot at a BMW Zagato Roadster to drive when it all falls to pieces.
