The BMW X5 Concept eDrive officially unveiled at the beginning of the year, was recently seen riding the streets of Paris.

The BMW X5 Concept eDrive is ending up in our news again in some images, this time the model being caught in Paris wearing a slight camouflage.

We might think that this is not an ordinary X5, as it will come with some changes at the body, meaning aerodynamic roof rails, front left fender, revised front bumper or the 21-inch bespoke alloy wheels.

The production of the BMW X5 Concept eDrive will be officially set for 2015, at Spartanburg, Germany, with the model to preview the upcoming X5 plug-in hybrid.

Under the hood, the model will sport a hybrid powertrain, meaning a four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo unit, developing 245 horsepower, backed by an electric motor, which will come with an additional of 95 horsepower, hooked to a lithium-ion battery.

The BMW X5 Concept eDrive is capable thus of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds, with an average consumption of 3.8L every 100 km.

In order to test the agility and the performance of the M4 DTM Safety Car, the BMW German based automaker has subjected the sports car to a long endurance road, starting from Nurburgring and ending in Paris, at the BMW`s stationary store.

The BMW M4 DTM Safety Car is that particular sports car that safely leads all 23 DTM racing cars on the circuit, for a smooth race.

But to safely guide the cars on the circuit, the M4 DTM Safety Car itself must demonstrate its performance and agility and the guys from the company has set it to the long track, until reaching France.

But we shouldn’t expect any difficulties, as the BMW M4 DTM Safety Car is standing on a powerful drivetrain, coming with a high-performance chassis, strong enough to outstand all weather conditions.

More than that, the BMW M4 DTM Safety Car is also equipped with the BMW M Performance Parts, as the guys from the M Parts division have made everything to change it into a pretty strong sports car.

Apart from the modifications at drivetrain, the specialists also managed to shed some weight off, the car being fitted with LED lights on the front apron, LED lights on the roof and the company`s special livery.

Moving on from the French capital’s appeal, if you’re there by the end of September, you’ll get a chance at being one of the first to see the BMW 1 Series GT Concept.

We all know that concept means it’s 98% the real deal but the 1 Series GT is considerably important for BMW and all its fans, particularly the enthusiasts.

This is because the BMW 1 Series GT will not be there as a weirdly shaped rear end version of the regular F20 1 Series but comes with a much more important change.

It will be the first actual BMW branded car that will come with wrong wheel drive front wheel drive as opposed to something more traditional.

What that means is that it will have more room in the back, more room in the boot, more room just about everywhere actually.

It also means that the BMW 1 Series GT Concept will feel like a less impressive motor since driving the front wheels obviously compromises the steering.

Who knows, maybe the fun to drive attitude of the Mini will shine through and the BMW 1 Series GT will still be lovely to drive.

Almost certainly it won’t be as good as the regular 1 Series or other models from the company but it seems that practicality has one over the fun factor these days.

Here we got photos from the first day of the 2010 Paris Motor Show. BMW decided for the first day to reveal the 6 Series Coupé concept but also the new X3 SUV. BMW introduces the concept based on 6 Series as a design study for a premium-class 2+2-seater that offers impressive aesthetics but also great dynamics thanks to the flowing lines. The German manufacturer announced the Control Display of the iDrive system and LED headlights for this concept.

Regarding the new generation BMW X3, Germans characterizes the model as a versatile vehicle that comes with enhanced comfort, space and dynamics.

An important novelty is the auto Start/Stop system that comes for the first time with the six-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new BMW X3 features driver assistance several systems such as Head-Up Display and Adaptive Headlights. The Germans from BMW also revealed the WRC version of Mini Countryman in the first day of Paris Motor Show.
