The German-based BMW carmaker has recently declared that all its high-end models in the United States, including the 2-, 3-, 6- and 7-Series, some models from the X lineup and the M versions will be equipped with the $300 Apple CarPlay package.

The news comes prior to Apple`s upgraded CarPlay system which would be launched next month with the iOS 10 system, which gives drivers the chance of using different functions while behind the steering wheel. For the moment, there are no words on the system`s functions.

Odd enough, there is no word on the possibility of fitting the 4- or 5-Series models, not to mention the X1, X3, X4 or the i3 and i8 plug-in hybrid with the system. Even if they do come with high-tech infotainment systems inside, they currently don’t support the new CarPlay package.

However, the carmaker has also stated that soon enough, all models in the United States would come with the Apple`s CarPlay system. The first models to be fitted with the system was the 230i and the M240i, at the beginning of the year, so it might take a while for the company to find a way to install the package on the rest of the model range.

BMW is not the only carmaker in the United States to be using the system on its fleet, thus joining Audi, Buick, Cadillac, DS Automobiles and Citroen, Ford, Ferrari, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Peugeot, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Volkswagen or Volvo. We should be able to find more news in the upcoming period.

Is Germany’s Essen Motor Show picking up speed? Certainly seems so, just like most shows that the motoring industry used to ignore up until a few years ago.

Whatever people may be doing as they prepare for the show, BMW is announcing they’ll fit the bill by releasing a new version of their F30 BMW 3 Series.

They’ll be making an M Performance version of the Touring, or the estate variation of the lovely mid-sized sedan.

Apart from the enhanced boot compartment, it’s obvious that we’re dealing with a lot of similarities to the M Performance F30 3 Series sedan.

New 20 inch wheels and an aero package, complete with extra styling bits and appreciation are mixed in.

The showcase model will be the 320d. Moving a bit forward into the M Performance gala, this powerplant will develop 200 horsepower instead of 184.

Inside we’ll find a mix of Alcantara and carbon fiber for the trim, as well as stainless steel pedals. At the center of attention lies a new sports steering wheel.

This F30 BMW 3 Series Touring M Performance will be the headline of the BMW stand at the Essen show but the Bavarians have quite a few more toys on route to the event.

The same show will see them showcase an M Performance lineup featuring the new 125i and 120d, an F10 535i Sedan and an E92 M3 Coupe.

People who attend the event will also get a chance to try their hand at doing a pit stop challenge, all in DTM style.

BMW have dropped the bomb on us with the M Performance versions of the M3 and M5 just a couple of days ago.

Now that most of us have gotten used to the idea, the Bavarians have announced some of the details that make them special.

Well, the stuff that sets it apart from each of them being a limited edition that is only going to be available in the British market.

Starting with the BMW M3 M Performance the list of improvements or details is rather slim. Technically, nothing has changed and what is included in the package isn’t completely new.

The list includes, Black Novillo leather (extended pack), contrasting stitching, Piano Black interior trim, 19″ light alloy M Y-spoke wheels, Jet Black bonnet intakes and the Internet and Media package.

The cost for all this stuff, comes in at £74.080. There’s no real point at making a conversion since it’s not leaving UK shores but there is one simple way of putting into perspective.

That’s the same price as a regular F10 BMW M5. Speaking of which, the M Performance package for the bigger brother also has a list to share.

There’s the M Sport multi-function seats, Black Merino leather (full package), Piano Black interior trim, 20″ light alloy wheels and some really geeky stuff as well.

There’s the Reversing Assist camera, Internet connectivity, a BMW Porfessional loudspeaker system and speed limit display.

With this version of the car, the BMW M5 M Performance will cost £95.140, a considerably larger price than usual with the price difference being 25.000.

The BMW M Performance story goes on and reaches a point we didn’t think would make too much sense. Two videos and announcements later our mind was changed.

Bavaria’s finest will offer M Performance parts for what’s actually their top of the line product, the M Division’s creations.

At the moment we’re being told about the M3 and the M5 getting these bits. It’s probably only a matter of time before the M6 joins the party.

With the 1 Series M Coupe we’re not too sure. It might as well receive the package but given its low production numbers and how its already sold out, that seems unlikely.

Details on the M Performance BMW M cars are pretty slim, but what we know so far isn’t really that impressive. Maybe its because the “base” cars are so good to begin with.

As you can see, there are some subtle changes in the aesthetics of both the F10 BMW M5 and the E92 BMW M3’s look and there’s something special about the paint jobs.

Each of these colors are part of the BMW Frozen Paint collection, the sort of stuff that could sell limited editions all on its own.

Speaking of limited stuff, only 30 of either the M3 or M5 will ever be built and they’re all headed for the British market. 10 of each will be available in each of the colors.

Performance wise we’re looking at the BMW M3 and M5 as close as they can be to the standard V8s, gearboxes and interiors.

BMW fans always love M cars but let’s face it, they’re not for everyone. If a budget worries you or the performance terrifies you or any other reason may come between you and owning an M5 in particular, then you should worry no more.

As BMW are working on getting you half way there with a M-Sports package for your nice simpler and more affordable BMW 5 series.

The 5 Series is pretty much available at dealers round the world so this special option is almost here but for now it’s going to be hidden under specific BMW camouflage.

As previous M-Sports packages have shown us and as these photos are hinting, this prototype suggests that the new model will receive a deeper front air-dam with larger intakes, side sill extensions and a re-contoured back bumper to accommodate the larger the tailpipes.

Besides what’s visible here, a M-Sports package for a BMW will offer you some trim upgrades like aluminum or carbon-fiber, some M badges everywhere along with more aggressive sport seats and perhaps a different steering wheel.

There are a few mechanical components of serious importance to come along with this package such as, wheels, tires and suspension or brake packages.

History would not support that alliances between the Germans and the Japanese don’t really benefit us that much but i think that this could be the exception that would prove the rule.

It’s Japanese tuner’s 3D Design take on the new BMW Z4 and I can’t help but like the look of it.

The new BMW Z4 is a handsome looking brute but the package 3D Design created for it is really helping it’s looks.

The package includes a new front lip spoiler and a trunk spoiler both made of urethane and a rear diffuser made of carbon fiber.

There aren’t many options on the color scheme as the car is only available in black, it’s a great fitting color but some of us may like a more fiery red or a relaxing blue. Perhaps the new 4-tip exhaust’s sound note will cheer you up.

There’s also a spectacular set of wheels that hit this car, they’re multi-spoke’d, with a nice silver touch to contrast the black of the car, the wheel and, of course, the tires.

Sadly the car is only limited to an exterior package so it’s not exactly game on for street racing but it is ready to show off for your neighbours.

A few days ago we talked about the BMW M3 E92 by Miranda Series. Now it’s the time to see what G-Power, a german firm of tuning, did for the BMW M3 E92. They weren’t so satisfied with 420hp stock M3 Engine and made from it a 635hp power, with half power more then the stock one.

This package has 3 stages of tuning. With the first one, you can upgrade your BMW M3 E92 to 525hp with 525nm for 7,500.00 EUR (about $10,000.00), but you can opt for the 2nd and 3nd stages, which goes up to 550 and 635hp. I’m sure that all these 3 package will make from your engine a great sound.

Also, this firm of tuning, G-Power, has made a package for BMW M5 which consists in 730hp engine power and it makes from this car the fastest sedan in the world. The BMW M5 by G-Power car goes up to 367.4Kmh!
