Finally, a spyshot that we can really sink our teeth into. Unfortunately, due to its origin, there may be some problems with it as well.

The image contains a non-camouflaged BMW M6 Gran Coupe, a world first. Quality isn’t the best selling point but this is one of those things that come with worthy information.

The problem I can see with this image leaking out is that somebody might actually get fired over this. It would be a shame.

Forget Apple’s crumby ideas about “leaks”, even though we’re looking forward to the BMW M6 Gran Coupe we pretty much know what to expect already.

It will have a S63Tu 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged engine under the bonnet, it will develop some 560 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque and it will be teamed to a 7 speed M-DCT transmission.

The image showcases the look of it but mostly we’re looking at a four door version of the 6 Series. Those little differences are what we’re after.

A new body kit, designed especially for the folks at the M Division goes on and just take a look at those alloy wheels.

They honestly look good enough to drool over, just as the rest of the car does. Poor lighting does rob us of a few details.

Side mirrors were redesigned, a bit of lipo was done here and there and the brakes are now enormous. The discs look like they could be ceramic but the calipers don’t fit the bill.

We could wait and find out exactly what’s going on but that’s no fun.

Here’s something you don’t see very often, a very sought after car gets spied completely undisguised. It’s one of our favorites, the upcoming BMW M6, in convertible form.

The snapshots came courtesy of Autospies who were lucky enough to be near the Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal in New Jersey at just the right time.

That’ll be the right time to spot a completely naked F13 BMW M6 in the area, among a sea of Bavarian products, including a 2012 M5.

As expected, the next generation BMW M6 sticks very closely to its lesser 2012 BMW 6 Series in terms of proportions but wears a special body kit.

The new body kit is more aggressive looking than the M division has us used to. It’s far from your typical tuner paradise, but the sporting traits of the BMW M6 convertible are now much easier to spot.

After all, no matter how up-class and luxurious your motor is, when it has vents in its fenders, we’re not talking about discrete performance are we?

Other wise, the M division makeover of the BMW 6 Series Convertible seems to follow the usual rules. Four exhausts at the back, enormous wheels and brakes and a distinctive look for the exterior.

Still to be confirmed, but the BMW M6, in either coupe or convertible form, will be powered by the same engine as the M5.

This means there’s 560 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque coming from a 4.4 liter V8 with twin turbos. That’s enough performance for a 0 to 62 time that’s well under 4 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.

The latter is electronically limited, with a possible package option to take it up to 180 mph and in non restricted form 200 mph could be possible.

It’s becoming rather difficult to avoid talking about the BMW X6 and its recently spied facelift for the upcoming model, so we might as well get on with it.

Over the last few days it’s been spotted all over the place and more and more images are beginning to turn up online in front of plenty of curious eyes.

Despite the Bavarians placing the facelifted X6 on display almost naked, the changes aren’t easy to spot and that’s for a simple reason.

The changes on the design of the BMW X6 aren’t that visible because they’re all contained in the very little parts of the car that actually have some camouflage on it.

Those giggling in remembering a time when BMW brought a refreshed X3 to Geneva that featured nothing other than color coordinated bumpers will understand.

Expect the nip-tuck sort of redesign to be the delight of the BMW X6 facelift as there’s little to see here apart from some redesigned light arrangement, front air intakes and probably a few gizmos inside as well.

From the look of things in the spyshots the new BMW X6 will sport headlights that get busier as more and more LEDs are added, whereas the tail lamps are bound to get a slight redesign as well.

Technically, nothing is for certain on the new facelift the BMW X6 will be getting apart from the fact that the hybrid version will be dropped.

Where differences are bound to turn up, is in the color palette you’ll have for the exterior, the new styling options for the alloy wheels and perhaps some added interior materials.
