The year 2018 is a special year for BMW, given the celebration of the legendary M3 Convertible first released on the market in 1988. And for that, the carmaker decided to bring it a tribute by launching a special and limited edition – the all-new BMW M4 Convertible 30 Jahre.

Not everybody will get to enjoy this special edition, as it will be offered in just 300 units worldwide. Unfortunately, rumors state that it won`t arrive in the United States, but might be offered instead in a small number of examples in Australia.

The BMW M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre comes standard with the M Competition package, meaning plenty of high-end visual tweaks and gizmos inside the cabin.

The car`s first striking elements at the exterior are the gorgeous and exotic Macao Blue or Mandarin II with BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line trim, and adding as well the exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels with matte Orbit Grey finish.

With the M Competition Package, customers also get the M Sport exhaust system or Adaptive M Suspension with SPORT mode, and direct steering ratio.

Inside, the cabin looks exclusive, first with “30 Jahre Edition” badges on the door sill plates, adding as well carbon fiber trim, special floor mats, full Merino leather on the seats, yellow contrast stitching, and much more.

Back in the 1988, the BMW M3 Convertible came out with a 2.3-liter naturally-aspirated flat-four engine, with 143 kW. It later on evolved in a six-cylinder mill in the E36 and E46. Today, we are glad to witness the advancement BMW has made in the engine department. Thus, the recently unveiled M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre is now in state-of-the-art form, coming equipped with the famous 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbo engine, delivering 450 horsepower (331kW).

2016 has been a very productive year for BMW, with the carmaker releasing special editions, like the “30 Jahre M3”, as a celebration of 30 years of existence of the M3 on the market, following other exquisite models, such as the M3 Heritage Collection Singapore Edition I.

This limited-run model was recently introduced in Singapore and comes with an exquisite design, impressive features inside the cabin and a hefty price. We are looking here at $408,800.

The model is extremely appealing at the exterior, especially since it comes with the Competition Package, and a plethora of exterior colours, such as Daytona Violet Metallic, Dakar Yellow II and British Racing Green, the latter one being offered for 10 vehicles out of 30.

The special features of the BMW M3 Heritage Collection Singapore Edition I refer to the 20-inch M alloy wheels, high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim, or exhaust tips finished in black chrome.

As expected, the cabin couldn’t have been left aside, the interior coming with new front seats, laser engraving carbon fiber trim, and the latest technology, also seen on the rest of the high-end models.

In the engine department, the BMW M3 Heritage Collection Singapore Edition I features the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine developing 450 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, being sent to the rear axle via a high-performance seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.

Japan is one of the most exclusive auto market to receive exquisite BMW models, and in the last six months we have seen some interesting models being launched in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The latest limited-run edition to recently arrive in Japan is another special 6-Series based on the 640i, initially branded as the BMW 640i Gran Coupe Celebration Edition Exclusive Sport.

Now the model received its official name – the BMW 6-Series Grand Coupe Edition, being offered in a limited-run of just 33 units, each one coming with a price tag of 13.4 million yen, which is the equivalent of $125,715.

As we can depict from the photos below, the limited-edition comes with the gorgeous and rare Sapphire Black Metallic exterior wrap, complemented by one-off body styling bits, all part of the M Sport package – new front and rear aprons, custom side sills, as well as the 20-inch M alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is fully tweaked with a lot of exquisite high-end features, such as Nappa leather with black and cognac trims, contrast stitching, BMW Individual Alcantara roof lining, piano black accent, and high-performance 16-speaker and sub-woofer Harman Kardon surround system.

The carmaker is also offering as standard other important features, such as rear-seat heating, four-zone automatic climate control, soft-close doors, comforts front seats and so forth.

The BMW M3 in its first iteration has been the true ambassador of the company in the entire world, the car becoming iconic thanks to its exquisite design, advanced driving dynamics and sheer performance under the hood.

And for that, the Bavarian carmaker has decided to pay its tribute by releasing a special edition of the present M Competition, called the “30 Jahre M3”, set to debut this month.

Only 500 units are available worldwide, with half of them already heading to the United States. The exclusive version costs $83,250 in the six-speed manual and $86,150 in the Dual-Clutch transmission version. Both prices include the destination fee.

Overseas, the 2017 BMW “30 Jahre M3” packs the Macao Blue metallic paint, declared one of the exclusive colors from the BMW Individual catalogue, along with some standout body styling elements which distinguish it from the current stock generation.

We are looking here at the Sports exhaust system, “30 Jahre M3” badges, kidney grille all covered with the High-Gloss Shadow Line from the same BMW Individual Catalogue, the wide 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 265/30 and 285/30 front and rear, along with plenty of high-end features to continue inside.

Stepping inside, the cabin complements the exterior with the BMW Individual`s Full Merino leather in Black and Fjord Blue colors with color-matching contrast seams, adding carbon fiber and black chrome accents, and the same “30 Jahre M3” logos.

The 2017 BMW “30 Jahre M3” is also available in two safety packages, the Driver Assistance Plus and the Executive Packages, both coming with a plethora of highlights, like Active Blind Spot Detection, Side and Top View Cameras, Automatic High Beams and much more. In the engine department, the model packs the same engine also found on the M3 Competition Package, but adds a slight power overboost.

We are looking here at a total of 440 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. With the six-speed manual transmission, the car reaches 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, while the DCT makes is run faster with around 0.2 seconds.

In case you live in the United States and you are on hunt for exclusive BMW models, then you should know that the German based carmaker is just offering a limited edition of the all-mighty M5, all wrapped in an exquisite Pure Metal Silver body color and a lot of power under the hood.

The ordering books open next month, with the BMW M5 Pure Metal Silver being available for “just” $130,900, without the $995 destination fee. The bad news is that only 50 units will be offered throughout the country.

As every BMW limited edition, this M5 seen here is offered with a plethora of visual modifications that would make it standout from the crowd. Besides the $10,000 Pure Metal Silver paint, the model also comes handy with full LED headlights, keyless entry, blacked-out kidney grille, M Performance exhaust system with carbon fiber tips, as well as the 20-inch M alloy wheels.

Other mods refer to new lowering springs that lower the car by 0.4 inches, stiffer and higher-performance spring dampers and stabilizers for improved stability and a few more with those.

Inside, the cabin welcomes you with a special feel given by the full Merino grey leather with contrast stitching, individually numbered plaques, head-up display and so on.

One of the car`s main highlight is the performance that comes with under the hood. We are dealing here with the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, now developing an impressive 600 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, enough to deliver a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, at a topping of 305 km/h, this lad here coming as well with the M Driver`s Package.

We all know that Japan has a fine taste for exclusive and limited edition cars, especially if they come from carmakers like BMW. In our case, the Germans celebrate the centenary with another limited edition of the X3 this time, called the “Blackout”.

The BMW X3 Blackout is a real standout model, as it wraps the Individual`s Sapphire Black body color, and along with a black trim, black kidney grille and the black wheels, makes the perfect choice for a show out in the crowded and night glowing Tokyo.

Stepping inside, the cabin delights you with a fine BMW Individual Ansorajito Roof lining, along with the black Nevada leather seats, aluminum pedals or interior trim in a brushed aluminum. And let`s not forget the X3 “Blackout” badge all around the cabin.

As for the powertrain under the hood, the BMW X3 Blackout comes with a 2.0-liter flat-four engine, with a good output of 184 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, being sent to the wheels via a high-performance ZF eight-speed transmission.

In case you were wondering how many units will be available in Japan, BMW stated that for the moment only 200 vehicles will enter the market starting 6th of August, each one coming with a price tag of 6,980,000, the equivalent of $68,000.

BMW is celebrating its centennial this year, with a lot of special yet limited editions to be released in different markets worldwide. The latest model to be launched in Japan is this gorgeous BMW 5-Series “BARON” limited edition.

The model is aimed exclusively for the Japanese market, being available in a limited edition of just 200 units, each one costing 7,700,000 YEN, which is the equivalent of $70,300.

As opposed to BMW`s latest special edition of BMW 5-Series “NEXT 100 YEARS” which was praised by journalists worldwide, this new 5-Series BARON doesn’t seem to favor all odds, the model being considered just a common 5-Series with some handful of improvements in terms of styling.

The limited edition 5-Series BARON can be had with a choice of Mediterranean Blue or Mineral Gray exterior color, along with the Oyster or Veneto Beige finish inside the cabin, which complement the Dakota leather upholstery.

In terms of visuals, the centennial 5-Series BARON features adaptive LED headlights, 19-inch M alloy wheels, and the BMW Individual aluminum line, while the interior adds Fine Line Ansorajitto Wood trim, dedicated coat hanger, special leather-wrapped key case, soft-close and electric trunk opening, and cabin aroma diffuser.

Being a special edition of the 523d model, the all-new 5-Series BARON midsize premium sedan is equipped with the M Sport Package and a 2.0-liter turbodiesel flat-four engine, developing 184 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In case you missed it, BMW recently unveiled the all-new Cruise M Bike Limited Edition as a celebration of the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe. And just as the name suggests, this M bike would be the mother of all bikes.

With an inspirational look from the M Coupe model, this bike is being offered in the Long Beach Blue metallic paint, which is one of the most preferable exteriors found on the M Coupe, the bike also featuring a hydro-formed aluminum frame with a standout “bullneck”, the same of a tank position on a motorcycle.

The limited-edition Cocktail Hamper was designed by Rolls-Royce Accessories Designer Sina Maria Eggl in a partnership with experts from Dorchester Collection`s London Hotels, the hand-crafted process being carried out for a period of around eight weeks. The materials used refer to American Walnut Wood and Natural Grain Leather.

The Cocktail Hamper is highlighted by an automatic integrated light, which provides it with a warm glow, giving the impression of a luxurious bar. The hamper is fully accessorised with a paring knife for instance, which is magnetically housed in a recess hewn. The glasses are made of beech wood moulds, which provide a smooth surface and a luxurious feel.

BMW USA has recently announced the introduction of the BMW i3 Shadow Sport Edition exclusively for the local market, and will be built in just 50 vehicles.

The BMW i3 Shadow Sport Edition is coming with the Fluid Black body wrap, while the cabin received the exclusive Deka World dark grey with blue accents.

The i3 Shadow Sport Edition electric also features the 19-inch Cyclone alloy wheels, sunroof, dark wrapping inside, as well as a custom sports suspension which improves the car`s handling.

Under the hood, the BMW i3 Shadow Sport Edition packs the same electric motor, hooked to a lithium-ion battery. The overall power stands at 170 horsepower and 249 Nm of torque, enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds, at a topping of 150 km/h.

The model will come as a BEV (battery electric vehicle), and will be offered for sale in the US from $47,400.
