About three weeks ago we saw the M5 Hurricane RS Touring, the latest G-Power creation, hitting a top speed of 359 km/h on the German Autobahn highway.

Officially, the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS Touring is the fastest wagon model which can legally run the streets. G-Power did a great job by squeezing 750 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque from the V10 5.0-liter twin-supercharged unit. In order to achieve these great performance figures, the Germans fitted a new water-cooled intercooler, a revised ECU unit but also the G-Power SK IIII RS twin-supercharger.

The V10 engine is able to propel the German model from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,5 seconds while the official top speed is 360 km/h, a very very close figure comparing to the record set early this month. The revised M5 Touring model, the E61 generation more exactly, excels at the performance chapter but there is no room to ignore the aesthetic improvements.

At the exterior special Michelin Pilot Sport tires are available together with 20-inch multi-spoke Silverstone Diamond alloy wheels alongside a high performance braking system with 396 mm front and 380 mm rear brake discs.

G-Power is certainly not an unknown name when it comes to BMW tuning, contrary, the Germans from G-Power are well known for the Hurricane packages developed for various models within BMW’s range. Late 2008, G-Power presented the M5 Hurricane RS, a model based on the E61 M5 Touring.

The Germans from m5board decided to force the performance that the M5 Hurricane RS offers and decided to accelerate at maximum while running on the German Autobahn. The result is a very good one, indeed, especially considering that we talk about a Touring model.

However, this confirms once again that the tuners from G-Power did a nice job under the bonnet. The unit found under the hood of the M5 Hurricane RS is able to develop 750 horsepower. The official top speed announced at that time is 367.4 km/h but it seems that the Germans are forcing the limits and according to what we see in this video is likely to exceed the official figures.

When two people talk about the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS model, after a moment or two, one or the other will surely bring into discussion the fact that the model was the fastest sedan in the world, by topping 227 mph (228.4 mph to be more precise) and all that took place in the year 2008. Fast forward a couple of years and we’re talking about a new world record from the same car.

This year, the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS, based on the BMW M5 Hurricane RR, blasted it’s way up to231.2 mph. Though their claims can’t be verified one hundred percent at the moment, there’s no reason as to not believe them and be really impressed by the feat.Featuring two superchargers that have been modified as to allow for more horsepower, the G-Power M5 Hurricane sports a V10 engine capable of handling 750 hp (even more, 800 hp at almost 8000rpm) and 590 lb/ft of torque.

The good news is that the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS can become yours if you want to tune your BMW M5. The bad news is that you’ll have to pay over 250,000 euros for it.

In November this year it managed to reach the speed of 365km/h(227.2mph), beating the previous record by 2 km/h. At the beginning of this year, the G-POWER M5 Hurricane RS was the fastest BMW in the world and with an added 20 horse power it managed to become the fastest sedan ever to be built. Under the bonnet, the G-POWER M5 Hurricane RS produces 750 horse power.
